"Grounded?! What do you mean I'm grounded?!" Sparky yowled. Andromeda, as usual, was as quiet as a clam. Max and Gidget were staring down at them. Duke and Snowball were sitting on a log, watching them as if they were watching a football game. Sighing heavily, Max explained, "I'm grounding you because of several things. You ran off, you disobeyed me and you managed to talk Andromeda into coming along!"

"And you're grounded for coming along," Gidget informed her daughter. Andromeda bowed her head in shame. Sparky, however, wasn't accepting his punishment as he hissed, "Face it Dad, you need all the help you can get on this mission!"

"He's got a point!" Duke called from where he was sitting beside Snowball.

"You shut up, you've done nothing but complain," Max growled at his brother. Jaw dropping, Duke retorted, "I was able to identify what kind of vehicle we're following!" Ignoring the mutt, the Jack Russell terrier turned to his son as he lectured him, "We're doing alright and you were supposed to stay home."

"And what would've happened if you were captured?" Sparky replied curtly.

"How would your mother and sister feel if you were killed?!"

"Bad..."

"Yeah, no kidding."

"But how would they feel if YOU died?!"

Dead silence.

"Nice comeback Sparky!" Snowball praised his nephew. Casting a dirty look over at the white rabbit that told him to shut his mouth, Max sighed long and hard. "It's too late to send you back anyways..." he grumbled. Huffing, he muttered, "You can come along." Sparky cheered jubilantly.

"You're still grounded," Max reminded his son. He received a groan in return.
