"Stay close to me Andromeda," Gidget whispered as she and her daughter crept through the hallways of the mansion. As they made their way towards the first floor, the fluffy white Pomeranian couldn't help but noticed how well the place was decorated. The animal heads on the wall freaked her out but the paintings and statues were beautiful. Shaking herself when she realized that she was becoming distracted, Gidget continued on her way.

The pair silently headed down the beautifully adorned staircase. Reaching the bottom, Gidget quickly motioned for Andromeda to stop. The entrance of the mansion was crowded with many people. Tall and short, thin and fat, man and woman, young and old. They were all gathered there.

Looking around quietly at her surroundings, Gidget finally spotted the door to the basement. Thankfully, it was slightly open. Nudging Andromeda gently, the fluffy white Pomeranian led the way towards the door. Mother and daughter slipped inside without anyone taking notice of them.

At least, that's what Gidget and Andromeda had thought. Unfortunately, someone had seen them sneak off into the basement. Quiet as a mouse, they followed them like a shadow.
