Her eyes opened wide with terror as she navigated through the air vents, Andromeda walked beside her father Tiberius. Her heart was pounding so loudly that her body shook with each beat. Frightened, she moved closer to her father's side. The small hawk jumped at the slightest sound. Her white feathers bristled with fear. She just wanted this day to be over. Shaking from the horrific encounter they had had with the man carrying and shooting a gun at them, Andromeda could feel tears brimming in her eyes. Now right up against her father to the point where their feathers were touching, she prayed that they would all go home soon.

"It's okay Andromeda, just a little farther..." Tiberius reassured his daughter, his voice slightly raspy. Taking a right turn, he stopped to let Andromeda get in front. "I'm right behind you," he told her, giving the small hawk a gentle nudge. Shaking with every passing second, Andromeda continued down the long tunnel stretching before her. She could sense that there was an opening nearby. Her spirits began to rise when she realized that everything was going to be alright.

It was then that Andromeda also noticed that she could no longer hear footsteps behind her. Worried, she looked back the way she came.
