Other than a black eye and singed feathers, Andromeda seemed to be okay as she somehow managed to escape the truck just seconds before it had crashed on the side of the road. The small hawk had jumped out of the open window right when the vehicle had burst into flames. She had thought that she was just going to hit the ground. However, her bird instincts had taken over her wings and the next thing Andromeda knew, she was flying. Safe and sound, she landed before the others.

Bounding over to her daughter while ignoring the pain in her shoulder and gut, Gidget embraced Andromeda. "You almost gave me a heart attack young lady!" the fluffy white Pomeranian exclaimed. Smiling softly, she added quietly, "That was probably one of the bravest things I have ever seen." Nuzzling her mother's soft fur, the small hawk whispered in reply, "I love you Mommy."

"Hey, don't worry bout me. Just an old hawk here bleeding out all over the place," Tiberius piped up as he limped over with the assistance of Esmeralda and Harrison. Padding over, Andromeda nuzzled her father as well as she spoke softly, "I didn't forget you Daddy." Both hawks purred happily while Sparky came over. Dipping his head nervously, the orange tabby kitten mumbled, "I... uh... I just wanted to thank you for saving me earlier when... we were getting shot back there." His voice had cracked several times during his statement. Meanwhile, Andromeda shuffled her foot slightly as she replied quietly, "You're welcome..." Tiberius looked at his daughter and Sparky suspiciously. Specifically Sparky.

"Does this mean we can go home now?" Esmeralda asked, looking up at her mother. A smile spread across Gidget's face as she answered, "Yes, we can go home."
