Mistypaw's POV

Mistypaw instantly jumps through the cracks in the ice and surges through the ice-cold water.

She flinches as she feels the bitter cold seep through her fur, but pays no attention to it as Silverkit disappears.

I can't breathe! Mistypaw thinks fearfully, and heads back towards the surface.

I'm sorry, Silverkit..

Just as she saw the midnight sky through the ice, Cloudedpaw jumps in and frantically swims back towards where Silverkit lay.

He's gonna kill himself! Mistypaw thinks as she watches his fluffy white fur disappear.

She breaks surface through the crack in the ice and heaves herself up.

She stands atop the ice and anxiously waits for Cloudedpaw to surface.

Suddenly, she sees his white fur..with Silverkit's!

Mistypaw smiles happily as he surfaces through the ice, and Mistypaw takes Silverkit from him so he can get out.

"Cloudedpaw she's not breathing!" Mistypaw exclaims frantically.

Cloudedpaw looks at Silverkit and performs CPR (lol I Dunno).

Silverkit suddenly coughs up a bunch of water.

Mistypaw sighs and buries her face in Cloudedpaw's wet fur in relief.

"See, I can be useful sometimes!" Cloudedpaw smirks.

Mistypaw laughs a little bit and rolls her eyes.

"Silverkit, are you okay?" She asks, looking down at the small kit.

Silverkit doesn't respond, she just sits there shaking in probably fear and coldness.

Mistypaw picks her up and turns to Cloudedpaw. "I'm gonna bring her back to camp."

Cloudedpaw nods and touches noses with Mistypaw. "I'll see you later."

Mistypaw nods and dashes over the border.

As she pads through the thick snow, she decides to stay on the outskirts of the border, and not leave any scent behind.

She sees the camp and pads back into the territory.

Mistypaw sets her down at the entrance, gives her head a small lick, and then runs back over to RiverClan, where she fell back asleep next to Cloudedpaw.
