Eliot has been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. He has a month left before he has to go to Europe. He's trying to make sure he has everything like their passport and ID, much to their annoyance Jia is insisting that Eliot packs an almost full-sized first-aid kit even though Eliot told her that their chaperones are assigned to have one because Eliot himself checked before they even asked their parents knowing that would be something to come up.

They've been staying up late facetiming Peter helping him learn ASL, Peter always tells Eliot that he feels bad for keeping him up but Eliot brushes him off saying they have no problems with staying up a little bit later teaching Peter sign language and it doesn't hurt that it's getting Eliot closer together with his crush. He didn't know he could fall any more in love with Peter but it happened, but Eliot is determined to keep it a secret, he's sure that MJ is going to try to get him to confess his feelings to Peter in Europe because it's the city of love but Eliot can't. He knows that Peter isn't ready and if that time comes Eliot will tell the truth.

Eliot runs a hand through his hair as he looks at the estimated weather data for when they go to Europe, Eliot was amazed to find out that they could predict it from this far out but then Eliot found out it could only be 50% correct which Eliot guessed was far considering they were still so far away from the trip. He glanced away from his phone to make sure his cochlear implant was charging, they got in trouble a lot for thinking they put it on the charger but it would actually be dead because Eliot didn't pay close enough attention so now at 17 Eliot can finally say he knows better. They jump when the phone in their hand starts to vibrate, they look down and go wide-eyed when they are getting a facetime call from Peter.

They wince glancing at the implants on the charger before quickly answering. "Hi." Eliot signed swallowing sharply, this was the first time that Peter called and Eliot didn't have his implant on. He always liked to have it on just in case Eliot couldn't read his lips. "Hi, how are you?" Peter carefully signed, he smiled with relief when Eliot nodded in encouragement. "Good, how are you?" Eliot signed slowly so Peter can keep up with what he was signing, Peter sighed and shrugged instead of answering. "Want to talk about it?" Eliot started to sign but he realized that Peter wouldn't be able to understand because they haven't quite gotten that far yet in lessons, but because Eliot couldn't hear himself they didn't know how loud they were speaking until Peter chuckled before bringing his hand up to muffle the chuckles just in case Eliot will feel offended.

"You're fine." Eliot signed and spoke at the same time, they tried to speak in a quieter tone and when Peter gave them a thumbs up he realized he had achieved that. "No aids?" Peter said and touched his ears just in case Eliot couldn't see him over the blanket that Peter had up to his chin, Eliot shook his head and smirked. "I was packing, and if I don't get hearing breaks I get overwhelmed," Eliot spoke and signed before watching Peter waiting for him to respond. Peter frowned before tilting his head. "Why are you packing? The trip is like a mouth away." Eliot chuckles at Peter's response before standing up and scooting further back on the bed so his back was against the wall instead of them sitting on the edge of the bed with their phone in their hand like a dumbass.

Eliot grabbed a pillow from the top of his bed and propped it up before leaning back and signing while speaking to Peter. "I like to be prepared okay?" And when Peter laughed Eliot scoffed and defended himself. "Don't laugh dickwad." Eliot said and signed before fingerspelling the word bully so Peter would know what he's saying instead of Eliot having to say it. Peter looked off-camera for a second before looking back at Eliot's frowning, Eliot knew that look without Peter having to say anything. "I have to go." Eliot nodded at Peter when he knew what the boy was saying. "It's alright, I assume it's dinner time." Eliot signed and spoke before glancing at the clock and, sure enough, it was time for dinner.

Peter nodded and waved bye but he still had a frown on his face, Eliot wished he could anything to take the frown away but they plastered on a smile and watched as Peter's image faded away when he ended the facetime. Sighing they sit up and scoot towards the edge of the bed, they look at their open suitcase that is laying on the floor before standing up and walking out of their room. Peter is right, he has the rest of the month to do that. It can wait.

As Eliot gets closer to the kitchen he starts to realize how hungry he is when he smells whatever is in the kitchen. Eliot smiles as they watch Elijah twirl Jia around the kitchen, Eliot can feel the vibrations under his feet but it's obvious that they haven't noticed him yet. Eliot smirks as they walk past the dancing couple without being noticed, it's only when Eliot pulls out the dining room table that they notice that he's in the kitchen. "How long have you been there?" Elijah signs chuckling slightly while Jia is rubbing her head in embarrassment. "Long enough." Eliot signed back mysteriously making Elijah shake his head fondly before kissing Jia on the cheek and grabbing his own plate of pizza.

"So, we were gonna come to get you when the pizza came back when we walked by your door, we heard someone speaking." Jia brushed a hand across her face before signing to Eliot. Eliot swallows his pizza before nodding and starts to sign. "That was Peter, I've been giving him ASL lessons but he called me while I was packing a little bit for the trip to Europe. Just wanted to chat, or sign at least." Elijah opened his mouth with a teasing glint in his eyes, Eliot shook his head and playfully shoved his Dad before Jia put her hand on Eliot's shoulder to stop them from doing anything else.
