The snowy landscape was a blur as a pair of tired brown eyes watched out the car window as the world flew by. It had only been a few hours since the teen was stuck in the car, but to them it felt like an eternity. A sigh dwindled on their lips, which were slightly bleeding after teeth had picked away the skin.

Music flooded through their headphones as they tried to ignore the others in the tiny red car. The teen had only agreed to go on this trip so they could avoid school for four days but there were starting to regret doing so.
Another sigh floated around them as they scrolled through social media on their phone. Boredom was unavoidable when you're stuck in a car.

Dirty brown hair fell in front of their face again, making them huff in annoyance as they pushed it back into place.

Turning back to the window as the song repeated for the tenth time, they watched in silence. Dreary grey skies made the snow look like a light grey. The world outside looked sad, matching the teen's mood perfectly.

Bored and sad.

Another sigh. They paused for a second.. They shrugged and pulled up her writing app and decided to write something random and stupid.

Boredom can do that to a person.
