A/N Happy Friday, everyone! I hope everyone's week went well!

By the way, remember in the last chapter how Simone described the dresses the girls are wearing to this party? Well, I thought about it, and for you to get the full effect of what happens in this chapter, I had to change the colors a bit. So, Kelly is now wearing a violet dress, and Ana is wearing a white one. Sorry to change this up on you. But I already changed it, and removed The Wizard of Oz reference. (Although I wish I could have kept it, but no green dress).

Anyway, here's chapter thirteen! This one's got a bit of sweet little romantic pieces, so I hope you enjoy this one!

-----------------------

Harry’s POV

I ran a hand through my curls to mess them up slightly. The lads and I were going to take the girls to a party tonight, and we were going to be picking them up in a few minutes.

I pulled on my blazer and looked in the mirror. It would be fine. “Hey, Lou, are you ready to go pick the girls up?” I called to my roommate, walking away from the mirror.

“Yeah, I’m ready. Let’s get the other lads,” Louis answered, walking over to me. We both grabbed our room keys and headed out into the hall.

Liam, Zayn, and Niall were waiting for us there. When they saw us, Liam commented, “Well, there you are,” with a smile.

“Sorry we took so long,” I apologized. “Let’s just go get the girls.”

“Kelly texted me a little while ago,” Zayn said. “She and the girls are getting ready in hers and Lizzie’s room, so we should pick them up there.”

“Alright, come on, then,” Niall said, taking the lead and heading to their hotel room.

When we got there, we didn’t knock on the door just yet. Instead, we heard the girls saying something inside, so we decided to listen for a second.

“Hey, what are you doing, Simone? Where’d you get that magazine?” I heard Courtney ask Simone.

“I brought it from our room, remember? I slipped it into my suitcase before we left,” Simone answered.

“Why are you reading that right now, anyway? We have to get ready for the party. Besides, it’s a bunch of rubbish,” Lucy said, the last part sounding like she was talking with an accent.

“You sound like the lads. You even said it with an accent,” Ana giggled.

“I did not,” Lucy exclaimed. “You’re just hearing things.”

“Anyway…” Simone said. “Hey, Lucy, there’s an interview with Emblem 3 in here. There’s something with Wesley…” she obviously was taunting her. The lads and I were still listening, chuckling quietly.

“Give me that rubbish magazine!” Lucy exclaimed.

“Both of you stop it,” Kelly said. “The boys are going to be here any minute, and I don’t think that they would like to see you two fighting over a magazine!”

The lads and I chuckled, and that was when Louis decided to knock on the door. “Are you girls ready?” He asked them through the door.

“Told you,” Kelly mumbled.

“I think we are,” I heard Lizzie’s voice through the door. “As long as I can find those heels, I definitely will be. Kelly, where did you hide my heels?” she asked.

“I didn’t hide them!” Kelly exclaimed. “You’re like my twin, and I would never do that!”

“Okay…oh! There they are!” Lizzie exclaimed, causing us all to laugh.

“Now are you ready?” Niall asked; a smile on his face.

“I think so. We’re coming out,” Lucy said, turning the handle and opening the door. As the door opened, my eyes widened. Each of the girls was standing in the doorway, each looking absolutely beautiful.

But the one I really noticed was Ana. Although she was standing behind Simone, she looked amazing. She had a plain white dress on that almost seemed to shimmer in the light, and made her look like an angel. She had no makeup on, and she also had her hair in a side ponytail, curled over her right shoulder. She looked absolutely beautiful. But it probably was just me not thinking straight.

Wait, what? I couldn’t be thinking like that. Shut up, Harry, you shouldn’t think like that…

Anyway, where was I? Oh, right. The rest of the girls were wearing dresses that were the same style as hers. Lizzie had yellow high heels that matched her dress, which made me chuckle a bit at how much it matched. Courtney’s hot pink dress looked much more casual with the origami owl necklace around her neck.

Lucy had a midnight blue dress on, and she had no makeup on either, just like Ana, and black ballet flats. Kelly wore a light lavender dress and a necklace with a tiny panda bear charm on it. Simone wore a deep red, almost blood colored, dress, and a heart shaped pendant.

My eyes wandered back to Ana, though, and she truly did look beautiful. I couldn’t help but smile at her. That was when I felt someone elbow me.

“Huh? What?” I asked, snapping it out of it. I looked at Louis, who was the one who elbowed me. Louis motioned to me to say something to the girls, which I gladly obliged to doing. “Hello girls,” I said, looking back at them.

“Hi Harry,” the girls chorused. I guess they had already greeted the rest of the lads…awkward…

“Are we going to go to the party yet? Or are we just going to stand around and talk? I want to dance!” Courtney cheered a bit.

The boys and I chuckled hearing this. After spending about a month with the girls, we had been able to find that they all had their own special things they loved to do. Courtney the dancer, Lizzie the sporty, funny one, Kelly the artist, Simone the actress, Lucy the musician, and Ana the writer.

“Yeah, we’re going to the party now. Let’s go,” Zayn said, stepping out of the way of the door so the girls could get past. Each of the girls stepped out into the hall, but then Lizzie paused. “What is it, Lizzie?"

“I hate these shoes. I’m getting my boots,” Lizzie said, turning around and going back inside the room. She came back with the boots she wanted, brown combat boots, and then said, “We’re good.”

“Great. Now let’s go, finally,” Courtney smiled. Then, we all walked towards the elevator, and the party, together.

--------------------

“Do you mind if I sit here?” Ana asked me, motioning to the seat across from me.

I grinned at her. “Of course you can. Go ahead,” I said sweetly, meaning it.

“Thanks,” Ana said, taking a seat. I smiled brightly at her in response. “You know, this is a really cool party.”

“It really is. Have you talked to any other people here?” I asked. “I think you’d get along well with all of these people.” I gestured to the celebrities mingling around us.

Ana laughed awkwardly, almost as if it was a forced laugh. “Yeah, maybe, although I probably wouldn’t,” she said, glancing at the ground. “I’m kind of sticking out like a sore thumb here, since I’m not famous,” she said quietly.

“No you’re not,” I said, shaking my head. “You’re fitting in just fine. Actually, I’ve heard a lot of people complimenting you and your beautiful dress,” I told her, although I didn’t actually know if this was true. I hadn’t exactly been listening for it.

Ana didn’t seem to notice that. Her eyes widened a bit. “Are you serious?” She asked, shocked.

I nodded, smiling at her. “Of course, besides, even if they didn’t, their opinion doesn’t matter.”

Ana’s lips curved into a smile. “You’re right. Thanks, Harry,” she said happily.

“Don’t thank me. By the way, you look incredible,” I complimented truthfully. She truly did look stunning.

Ana’s cheeks became tinted pink. “Thank you, Harry. You’re so sweet,” she said.

“Correction, I’m truthful,” I said cheekily, giving her a flirty wink. Ana blushed even brighter.

“Potter, you’re making her blush with your flirting!” a familiar voice exclaimed with a chuckle. I would recognize him anywhere. It was my friend Weasley, I mean, Ed Sheeran.

I turned to face him. “Ed! It’s good to see you,” I said truthfully. Then I looked at Ana. “Ana, this is my friend, Ed. Ed, this is my friend, Ana,” I introduced them, smiling.

“It’s nice to meet you, Ana,” Ed said with a grin.

“It’s nice to meet you too,” Ana said sweetly, smiling. Then, she added, “I think I’ll go get a glass of punch. I’ll be right back.”

I smiled at her. “Alright, but hurry back,” I told her. She just smiled, got up, and strolled over to the punch bowl.

Ed turned to me. “So, is she one of the girls you’ve been spending the summer with?” he asked me.

“Yeah, she and her five best friends,” I answered. Stealing a glance at her as she filled a glass of punch, I smiled. “She’s really amazing, isn’t she?” I asked. Whoa, where did that come from?

“Well, I barely know her, Potter, but if you say so, I’ll agree with you,” Ed laughed a bit, and so did I, now facing him completely.

As we talked, I then heard a loud crash. I bit my lip, hoping that it had nothing to do with Ana. As Ed and I both turned our heads to see what happened, my eyes widened.

Ana was sitting in a pool of red punch, her skin and white dress stained. Only one of her black heels was actually on her foot, although it was practically hanging off her foot. The punch bowl was upside down, still dripping some of that red punch onto her.

Ana pushed the bowl off herself, looking embarrassed. She pushed herself up and off the floor. As she did this, her eyes met mine. Her expression changed from embarrassment to looking completely mortified. She quickly kicked that heel off of her foot and fled the room, covering her face with her hands.

I saw Kelly sprint after her, trying to find her. I chose to do the same. I headed off towards where she had fallen, and picked up her two heels that she had left behind. As I did this, I looked at a girl who had been just standing next to her as this happened, not helping her at all. “So, you chose not to even help her up?” I asked, a bit angry.

“Why should I? She doesn’t deserve it,” the girl responded haughtily. “She shouldn’t even be here.”

I glared at her before following Kelly in the direction Ana had gone. I found myself running after her until slowing to a stop in front of a janitor’s closet. Kelly was standing there, trying to talk to her through the door.

“Ana, please. You can’t run from your problems,” she pleaded. “If you do, you’ll never be able to overcome them, and stop them.” There was silence from the other side of the door, and I saw Kelly sigh. She looked at me, and saw Ana’s heels in my hand. “You grabbed them? She’ll be grateful, if she even talks to you. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did.” She stepped out of the way of the door, letting me past.

I nodded, giving her a thankful smile, and walked up to the door. I rested my hand on the door handle, trying to turn it. It wouldn’t budge. It was locked.

I spoke up, hoping to get her to talk. “Ana? Will you open the door, please?”

“No. Go away, I don’t want to talk to anyone,” Ana’s voice responded, sounding weak and on the verge of crying again. Then I heard the sound of sobbing.

“But I want to talk. Please, Ana?” I pleaded, running a hand through my curls with my free hand. I added as an afterthought, “I have your heels.”

I heard a pause, and then I guessed that she was going to open the door. But, then she spoke up again. “If I open this door, Harry, you have to close your eyes.”

I sighed quietly, but did as I was told. “Alright, I’m ready,” I told her.

I heard the door open up and felt a small hand grip my free one. Ana gently led me into the closet and helped me sit on the floor.

I spoke up when we seemed to be settled. “Ana, I am so sorry for what happened at the party. You didn’t deserve that, nobody does. If I had the choice, I would have much rather had me covered in punch,” I admitted.

I heard a bit of surprise in her voice as she gently took the heels from my hand, leaving it empty. “Really, Harry? Thank you. You’re so sweet, much sweeter than all those magazines say."

“You’re welcome, although there’s no need to thank me,” I said, giving her a smile. I wished I could open my eyes and see her, but I couldn’t.

A thought popped into my head. She needs something to cheer her up, and I think I want to try something. We’ve known each other for a month, it would work, right? Although I would have to leave in about two months, it could work, hopefully…

I pushed that thought out of my head and decided to give it a shot. “Ana, there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you. It’s kind of important.”

“Ask me anything, Harry,” I heard her say.

I found her hand resting on the floor, and took it in mine again. I smiled to myself, and continued to speak. “Well, I’m not quite sure how to say it.”

“What if you wrote it down?” she suggested.

“Well, I’m hoping this could speak for itself,” I finished, opening my eyes. Ana was sitting there, looking at me with her eyes wide, and she hadn’t realized what was going on. Her skin and dress was still stained red from the punch.

I gave her a smile, and leaned in, pressing my lips to hers. My eyes shut again, but this time I didn’t mind it. I kissed her softly, and I quickly felt her kissing me back.

Soon after, I pulled away softly and naturally, and she did the same. My eyes opened and so did hers. As I looked into her eyes, I smiled at her, thinking that had been an amazing kiss. I was glad to find that she was smiling back at me.

“Whatever your question is, Harry, I say yes,” she said, keeping that smile on her face.

I smiled at her as I continued to hold her hand. “Perfect.”

There was a slight awkward silence, but then she broke it. “Harry, do you think we could keep this a secret? I don’t think I’m ready for all the extra attention from all the paparazzi that your girlfriends have gotten in the past,” she explained.

“Of course, Ana, I completely understand that,” I answered truthfully. The paparazzi can be so stressful, and I don’t think it would be very good for her to deal with it if she wasn’t ready yet.

“Thanks, Harry,” Ana said sweetly.

“No problem,” I said with a smile, leaning in and giving her a soft peck. “Want to head back to your room so you can get out of that dress? I can imagine that it’s pretty uncomfortable, since it’s so sticky,” I asked when I pulled away.

Ana nodded, and said, “That would be great. I need to get this punch off my arms anyway. Thanks, Harry.” She smiled up at me.

“No problem,” I repeated, standing up and holding out a hand for her to take. She took it and I helped her up, helping her balance on the heels that she had put on earlier. “Let’s go get you cleaned up.”

The two of us walked out of the room, hand in hand, smiles bright and wide. Maybe that punch spill hadn’t been so bad after all…
