WEEK 1 – Seattle Washington

I've been crying all day. Instead of wandering around and enjoying Seattle, I just locked myself in my condominium. Thinking about my decision in life. My sister even messaged me that I should try to eat at some remarkable restaurant here but even going out to eat – I couldn't do it. So I just ordered online and delivered it to my unit.

I want to go home. I want to see him. I want to tell him that I can't do it. I miss him so bad.

I can't understand myself.

I still feel like I'm dying. I want to go home. I'm ready to pack my things and go back to my own country!

WEEK 4 LATER

I still feel like I'm dying – but I don't want to go home. My decision was right. I made the right decision to leave. I don't want to go back to him when I know my heart is still broken into pieces. I have to let go of all the pain.

Staying here was the right decision.

I started going out. I decided to check some random places in Seattle. It was fun. I'm enjoying myself more than before.

This past week, I discovered so much about myself. I am also starting to get to know myself. It was fulfilling.

I decided to enroll in the University for my Master's degree. And I am enjoying being a student again.

WEEK 8 LATER

I let out another laugh when I heard Zeref's complaint. This is the first time I've talked to him after I left the country. He was currently talking about how hard it is to find an IT expert.

"You should lower down your standard, Zeref" I say.

"Why?" he asked me "Why don't you come back? It was really hard without you in the company"

"I will probably stay here until I finish my Master's degree, Zeref" I heard him gasp which made me chuckle "Just lower down your standard. When I first joined your company. I wasn't that great either."

He didn't answer right away but I knew he was frowning. I chuckle, "Thank you so much for everything you taught me"

"I didn't teach you anything"

I took a deep breath and walked to the window where I could see the beautiful view of Seattle. "You taught me to wait and you taught me how to love unconditionally, Zeref. It was something I will forever thank for"

"Lucy..."

"I have to go. I'll see you after I get my Master's degree"

I chuckled under my breath when I heard their messages. Today is the day that I'll graduate with my Master's Degree. My eyes hardly open because I still lack sleep. In recent months, I have been too busy working on my graduation thesis. And today is the day I'm finally done with my Master's degree. All the tears I shed for my thesis have been paid for.

After this day, I'll be... Lucy Heartfilia, M.A IT.

A groan escaped my lips as my cell phone rang again. I checked for the caller and I let out another sigh when I saw the caller ZZ'DON'T TEXT & DON'T CALL.

That is the name of Natsu in my contact. I actually put 'ZZ' on so I'm sure he's at the end of my contact.

"Hello" I said. 

"H-Hi" he let out a soft laugh "I finally heard your voice again, babe" he said which made me bite my lower lips.

For the past years, I didn't answer all his calls to me. Even his message. But even if I don't answer calls he texts. He always texted me and asked me how I'm doing. He always makes sure to greet me during holidays and my birthdays.

After two years. Now I just heard his voice again.

"Natsu" I breathe.

I heard him clear his throat "Congratulations on your success, babe"

"Thank you," I say my heart is beating loudly and I don't know what to say to him. I clear my throat, "How are you, Natsu?" I ask softly.

"I've been missing you so much!" he said softly – I heard his soft sigh "How I wish I can see you now" he mumbled.

I blush, for some inexplicable reason I felt a tickle in my heart. I clear my throat "You can see me now, Natsu."

"Are you ready to accept me?" he asked me which made me hold my breath "Because... If I see you now, I know in myself that... I won't let you go"

A smile formed into my lips "H...Hello? N-Natsu... u... su...? Y-Y-Yo-Your line is c-ch-choppy. I-I-I... I can't hear you!"

"Lucy Heartfilia!" he said, warning me.

"He... Hello?" I handed the paper pear to my side table and ruffled that crumb to create a noise "I... I... I can't h-h-he-hear you... Natsu!"

I grinned as I turned off his call. I wanted to tell him that I'm already done fixing my broken heart. I wanted to tell him that I'm ready to accept him. But I still want him to wait a little longer. Because, I just want to enjoy my graduation day, today.

"CONGRATULATIONS Lucy!!!" Levy jumps on me and hugs me tightly, "Gosh! I can't believe it!" She was smiling widely when she released me from her embrace.

"Congratulations too, Levy – chan" I was smiling widely.

I met her here at the University, because we both got lost on our first day at school. And then after that, we click. We took the same course and she became my sympathizer with those sleepless nights with our thesis.

We cried in frustration at the same time. We celebrated together when our research title was approved. We have helped each other for the past two years.

"Girls! Let's have a party in Q Nightclub, later" it was Cana who suddenly popped out of nowhere. Cana is an architect. She graduated from it and took the Master's degree. I met her when Levy and I lost our way on our first day. She helped us and since then we have become friends.

Cana and Levy talk about the party in Q Nightclub. As they both talked about the party, I pulled out my phone and I immediately texted him about the party.

I smile widely before I beam to Cana and Levy - who just frowned in my reaction. "Did your parents allow you?" Cana's sarcastic question.

"Yes" I laughed in response. "Let's take a picture and then let's go to Juvia."

"Sure!" They both agree.

The music was loud all over the place. It was late at night when we arrived here at the club and it took us a while to pick up Juvia because she was still finishing a plate for her client.

"Are you going home tomorrow, Lucy?" Juvia asked as if she had just heard that news.

I laughed "Yes," I replied "But, you and Cana will still be the architect and engineer for my dream house"

"Why are you building a house? You don't even have a boyfriend" Cana said, pouting her lips.

"Wow! Thank you for reminding me that I'm single!" I said while laughing

"You're most welcome, Lucy!" Cana said laughing. She raised her glass "For the single Ladies! Cheers"

Laughing, we cheered. Throughout the night we celebrated, we drank, we talked about our future plans and even our memorable experience in the University, we laughed and we danced.

"You should find someone tonight Lucy to get laid" Cana suggest which makes me laugh "You should try getting laid before going home"

I gave her a cute smile "I think I'll do that—"

My voice trails off when I feel a hand snaking into my waist and pulling me closer to his body. His familiar perfume lingerie in my nose and even made my heart beat faster than before. I looked at him over my shoulder and my mouth parted when our eyes met.

"Enjoying, babe?" he asked me. I opened my mouth to speak but my words failed me – he leaned until his face near my ear "I told you, don't enjoy it too much" he whispered.

I blushed and looked away. I saw my friends frowning at us. I waved at them before removing Natsu's hand on my stomach and then pulled him so I could introduce him properly with my friends.

"Guys... umm... This is Natsu!"

"He's your?" Cana asked me curiously. Her eyes shine with pure curiosity.

"He's my brother – in – law" I said while blushing. Natsu raised his brow to me but still remained mute. Cana almost choked when she swallowed her laugh. Juvia looked at her in disgust before she offered her hand.

"Engineer Lockser" Juvia introduced herself.

"Professor Mcgarden" Levy introduced herself too.

"Uh... Architect Alberona" Cana awkwardly offered a hand too. She was like trying her best not to laugh "Nice to meet you, Lucy's brother – in – law"

"I suppose you are all her schoolmates," Natsu said, shaking their hands.

Levy whispered something to Juvia before smiling at me playfully. I glared at them silently telling them to behave, "So what are you doing here, Lucy's brother – in – law?" Cana asked Natsu the moment we returned to our table.

"I'm here to deliver Lucy's parents' gift" Natsu suddenly looks at me "but... I was surprise to see her looking for laid"

Damn! Cana laughed so hard as if she was enjoying it. Levy and Juvia shared playful gazes too. Cana ordered some alcohol. And surprisingly, Natsu is perfect with my friends. They are drinking more and more and their cheeks are red. My friends excuse themselves because they are going to dance. And then, I invited the Natsu lounge area of ​​the club. I opened the sliding door and saw no one inside. Wow, people were really having fun back there, huh!

I let Natsu sit on the couch leaning against the headrest and closing his eyes.

"Are you dizzy now?" I asked, worried about him "Here's water" I got bottled water from the mini -refrigerator so he could sober up. I got one for myself too.

We were both silent until we finished our bottles. I played with the empty bottle while looking around, avoiding his eyes. I heard him sigh heavily before ruffling his hair in frustration.

"What? Why? Is there something wrong?" I glance at him, worried. Why did he sound stressed out?

"Nothing" he looked away from me.

I went closer to him and held his cheek, forcing him to look at me. He looked at me in surprise and stared at my eyes before his gaze went down to my lips. I pursed my lips and moved my hand away from his face, feeling awkward now. Gosh, why was he staring at me like that?

"Let's go back now," I told him, moving away.

I was about to stand up when he suddenly put his hand on the side of my neck and leaned to give me a deep kiss.

I automatically closed my eyes and parted my lips to welcome him. My heart was beating so fast like it would come out of my ribcage in no time. He pulled me closer to him, putting his hand on the back of my head. I scooted closer to him, and put my hand on his shoulder for support.

He bit my lower lips and pushed his tongue inside my mouth, tasting me. Both of us tasted like alcohol and lemon. I was like being hypnotized by his kisses, completely forgetting about the muffled music coming from the party.

How the hell did I end up making out on the couch?

He moved his lips again and kissed me deeper, welcoming my tongue in his mouth. He sucked on it before putting his hand on my waist. We were just making out for about five minutes until he stopped, leaving me panting.

I bit my lower lips and looked away. I could feel my face heating! What the hell was that? Were both of us drunk! What the hell did I just do?

I felt Natsu caress my cheeks and made me look at him again. My mouth parted a little, "I miss you, babe"

"Natsu..." I breathe

He leaned closer until his face buried into my neck. I bit my lower lips when I felt his hand start roaming on my body. Making my body on fire – I felt his lips barely touch the skin on my neck.

"I told you don't enjoy the party too much, babe" he whispered, gently nibbling my ear. I moan.

"It's time for your punishment, babe"
