When I close my eyes,
memories of you ignite in
stardust penetrating my face,
showing how you brightened up my world,
on top of everyone else's.
You made my days most colourful
among luminous days.
But you betrayed me to the dark
as you belayed my dark lash,
slid on my lid
and slip out of my sight.
Now, tears ooze under my lid,
while I loose you my kid.
