So I'm sorry if this explanation isn't completely accurate...I got this idea from Supernatural until someone told me of a better version. I'm still a bit fuzzy on the details

A red lady is like a white lady. It's a women who was abused by her husband and once she dies (by suicide or possibly not), she haunts roadsides and asks for strangers to "take her home." Once they get there, she makes the stranger cheat on their spouse or partner. Once they do, she kills them. It's the same for the white lady, except the dead lady's spouse also cheated on them.

I chose this for Maria because in Say No To This, she does say her husband has been "beating her, cheating her, mistreating her." So I took that as abuse. And that fact that she made Alexander cheat on Eliza also corresponded with the story. I guess you could say Alexander was "killed," or destroyed him with the Reynolds Pamphlet, but Maria didn't write it, so she wasn't the one who really "killed" him. So that's a stretch...

But I liked the way this turned out, even if it's not much and doesn't have a background...I did still try hard on this I promise! I hope you like it
