Third Person P.O.V

          It was a blur for everyone. Scorpius showing up at the door and next thing he knew was he was in the middle of the Potter's living room. Albus cried out and cowered when Harry went to take him from Scorpius. He was safe with Scorpius, he hadn't tried to hurt him. He didn't want to be hurt anymore. Even when his parents told them who they were, he only wanted the blonde with the gentle voice. Scorpius' parents were called and they rushed over shocked to see the trembling boy in Scorpius' arms. Scorpius retold the story and James chimed in when he told him that he turned right instead of left. He explained that Albus was scared when he found him and that earned a whimper from the boy.

            "I think we should take him to the hospital." Harry declared and everyone agreed.

            "Okay." Scorpius approved. "Albus, I'm gonna give you to your father now, you need to go get checked out." Scorpius told the boy who let out a cry and shook his head vigorously. Scorpius stood up from the couch and went to Harry's ready arms. Just as he was gonna make the exchange, Albus let out a howl of protest and his arm around Scorpius tightened. "Okay shh it's okay." Harry looked heartbroken but nodded. He looked at Astoria and Draco.

            "We'll follow in the car behind you." Astoria told him. "Do you want us to take the others?"  She asked.

            "Yes thank you." Ginny answered. Tears still streamed down her face as her baby boy was so broken in front of her. "Lily and James are you okay with that?"

            "Yes." James answered. He took Lily by the hand and the eight of them made their way out of the house. Ginny opened the door for Scorpius so he could just scoot in the back. However when he settled himself, Albus hopped off his lap and dove for the space between the front seat and the back seat. Presuming where the feet usually go. He buried his face in the seat and when Scorpius went to touch him, he cried out.

            "Shh." Scorpius whispered. He lied down across the back of the seat where Albus' head was and gently placed a hand on his head. Albus flinched but didn't do anything other than that. Scorpius started to stroke Albus' locks and the boy increasingly relaxed. Harry moved his seat up so Albus would have more room but he curled more inside himself. Harry took a deep breath and started the car. The ride to the hospital was silent except the occasion snivel from Albus. Once they got there, it took a lot of coaxing but Scorpius finally got Albus out of the car. Albus instantly curled up to Scorpius who simply picked him up bridal style and they walked into the hospital. Ginny talked to the receptionist as Scorpius took a seat. Lily, James and Scorpius' parents walked in shortly after.  Ginny walked back to where they were sitting and sat on the table in front of Scorpius.

            "They said they'll see him right away. Only family is allowed to go in." She told him.

            "I understand." Scorpius nodded. "I'm sure that he'll relent sooner or later." He told her and she nodded. She reached out and touched her son's head. He trembled and buried his face further into Scorpius' chest. She dropped her head and swallowed hard. "It'll be okay ma'am, just give him some time."  Ginny didn't say anything just nodded.

            "Albus Potter?" The lady called.

            "Okay Albus your mum is gonna take you now." Scorpius told Albus. He went to go do the exchange but Albus cried out. His arms tightened around Scorpius. "Come on Albus, it's okay." Scorpius promised. He tried to pull Albus' hand from around his neck but it didn't work.

            "Albus love, it's okay. Mummy is gonna take you." Ginny put her hands on Albus and he jerked. It took a lot of pulling and tugging but Albus' grip loosened and they brought him on to the stretcher. He was thrashing aggressively and whimpering loudly. All without saying a word. Finally the nurses had to hold him down and sedate him. He cried out piercingly and thrashed until the sedation took over causing him to fall asleep. 

Scorpius P.O.V

          They carted Albus off with his parents following. My mother and father took seats next to me.

            "Are you alright Scorpius?" My mother asked and I nodded.

            "Yes." I told her. I checked the time and it was only nearly six in the evening but I was exhausted.

            "Are you hungry?" She asked but I shook my head. She pulled me into her and hugged me tightly.

            "I'm so proud of you Scorpius, you were so brave." She told me and I snuggled into her embrace. I let out a breath of relief.  I felt the presence of someone else so I looked up. It was Lily and James.

            "Thank you so much Scorpius." James told me. "You found our brother." He hugged me and I tensed slightly but hugged him back.

            "Don't mention it. I didn't do much. I was just at the wrong place at the right time." I told him. Next I hugged Lily who started crying. I gently stroked her hair and she kissed my cheek.

            Then we played the waiting game. I watched the clock tick by and waited to hear about Albus. We waited and waited. People came and went. My parents got food for us. We used the bathroom and then finally around eight, Harry walked out. First off, he thanked me profusely for helping his son.

            "Is he okay?" I asked and Harry swallowed hard.

            "He's been through hell... the doctors said it was a miracle that he survived. He was underfed and malnourished. He was abused and..." He trailed off and I winced.

            "Where is he now?"

            "They've admitted him to the hospital for the time being. To get him better. Ginny is with him. He'll be he for a few days so you guys could go home."

            "Would you like us to take the others to our house?" My mother offered and Harry looked perplexed.

            "Are you sure?" He asked.

            "It's the least we can do." My mother told him and he looked like he was about to cry.

            "Thank you." He thanked.

            "It's no worries. They can stay over this way you can stay with Albus." My mother offered and Harry nodded.

            "Thank you so much." Harry sniffled. "How could I make it up to you?" He asked and my father stood up shaking his head.

            "No need to make it up to us." Draco told him. "Just focus on Albus." He said and Harry hugged my father. Like me, my father tensed but hugged him back.

            "James, Lily, we'll pick you up in the morning. You don't need to attend school." He told them and they hugged their father. They said goodbye and I hugged Harry before us five walked out.

            "So we'll take you to your house first to get clothes and then we can set you up. We have other rooms but they aren't quite ready so James you can bunk with Scorpius. Lily can take the couch."

            "Sounds good." James piped. We made our way back home and they got some clothes. They walked to our house, mum had already put some sheets on the couch. Lily got settled and her eyes widened.

            "This couch is super comfy."  She said and my mum smiled.

            "Thank you dear." She said. "Do you want anything?"

            "Some water?" She asked.

            "You got it."

            "Mum, I'm gonna show James my room." I told her. She smiled and kissed me goodnight. I walked with James to my room and opened it.  My bed was fairly large so I looked at him, "Um we can share the bed or I can stay on the floor." I suggested awkwardly.

            "We can share the bed." He shrugged. "Um I don't want to put you out." He said.

            "You wouldn't be." I told him. "But okay." I nodded. I grabbed clothes to change into and then went to the bathroom.   I came back and he was already settled. I got in next to him and laughed.

            "What?"

            "Usually I'd know a guy more than a day before I shared a bed with him." I joked and he rolled his eyes. I snuggled into my pillow and James looked at me.

            "Scorpius?"

            "Hmm?" I hummed and he took a deep breath.

            "I'm glad you moved to town." He told me and I smiled.

            "I am too." I told him and then slowly let sleep take over me. 

            I woke up the next morning to my mother shaking me and telling me that I didn't need to go to school.

            "I want you to rest today. You had a long day yesterday." She stroked my hair and I sleepily nodded.

            "Okay." I told her. James groaned and then woke up.

            "Good morning ma'am." He greeted politely.

            "Good morning James. Your parents called and said they'll be here in an hour." She told him and he nodded. She left my room closing the door on her way out.

            "So um you want some breakfast?" I asked.

            "Yeah sure." He agreed. I got out of bed and then threw on some clothes for the day. He did too and then we made our way down the stairs. Mum was cooking breakfast chatting quietly with Lily who seemed to be reading a textbook.

            "Morning." We announced and Lily looked up.

            "Good morning." Lily greeted back. We took a seat next to her and James kissed her head.

            "How'd you sleep?" James asked and she smiled.

            "Really well. The couch was really cozy. How about you?" She asked James. Mum finished the eggs and plated them.

            "Same with Scorpius' bed." James explained and Lily giggled.

            "I'm glad you two slept well." Mum smiled placing the food in front of us. "You're lovely house guests. You're free to come by any time."

            "Thank you so much Mrs. Malfoy."

            "Oh please call me Tori." Mum insisted.

            "Okay Tori." Lily approved and took a bite of her food. "So what do you do for a living?" Lily asked and my mum smiled.

            "I stay home and take care of Scorpius. My husband works as a doctor."

            'That's cool. Mum used to be a soccer player. After she had me, she decided to stop and take care of us." Lily explained and mum smiled.

            "That's lovely and your dad?"

            "Dad works as a detective." James chimed in. "He wasn't allowed to work Albus' case and was put on leave so he wouldn't."

            "Oh." Mum gasped. "Well we're very happy that he's back." Mum said and I looked down. James patted my back.

            "We are too." He said.

            Soon enough Harry came and picked up Lily and James. He told us that Albus was still sleeping and the doctors found he was sleep deprived. He offered me to come along and mother told him she'd take me by later. He thanked me one last time and then went on his way. I sank on the couch and sighed. I needed to see that green eyed boy.
