Sam was an orphan child and felt like no one in the world cared. Well people always said they cared but they never really showed it. The sad part is she never got to know her mother because she died shortly after she had given birth. Sam's father was nowhere to be found and all she knew about him was that her grandparents never approved of him and her mom being together. When she was around 9 her grandpa died and strangely enough her grandma died a little over six months later. This left her all alone and the state of Wisconsin put her in the "system" and ended up in a tiny town called Phillips. This is where the story begins.
