When they began doing the task, Miho secretly hoped that Ushijima would initiate the conversation. He turned to his desk and began writing some notes with his immaculate writing.

"Hello, Ushijima-san," Miho said nervously, "What do you think would make a good story,"

The boy looked up.

"An interesting plot," he said simply. Miho felt hopeless. When she heard the teacher announce they would be moving onto the next task, Miho felt a rush of relief blow over her - again.

"The term's task," the teacher announced, "is to write a novel,"

Miho felt overjoyed. She loved writing.

"You would be working with the partners I have put you in,"

Miho froze. She doubted she and Ushijima would get along well. Could her first day get any worse.

"I would assign each group a genre," the teacher announced.

"Honoka's group will do mystery," she announced. Miho felt disappointed. Mystery was her favourite genre.

"Akane's group will do an historical novel," the teacher continued. She turned her heads to Miho and Ushijma.

"Ushijima's group will do romance," she announced. Her day has just got worse.

"Oooh," a boy with red hair cooed as Ushijima started writing in his English book and Miho blush.
