"Where you going?" Snowkit mewed, seeing Silverfur pad a bit away from their den.
"I," Silverfur motioned to herself, "am looking for," she made it obvious that her eyes were moving around, "a new den."
Snowkit looked puzzled at first, then leapt up.
"New den?" He asked, "I come with?"
Silverfur nodded.
Snowkit jumped up and down with joy.

Snowkit realized that he was older now, he was 5 and a half moons. If he had been back at home he would be about to start training to be a warrior.
"Can we hunt afer?" Snowkit mewed.
Silverfur nodded, knowing he meant to say after.
"Yay!" Snowkit mewed.

The two began looking for dens. Silverfur glanced back every so often to check on Snowkit.
They soon found an old fox hole. Silverfur sniffed around it to make sure it was old and that the scent was stale. Although stale, it may not stay that way. A fox could come back and expect their den to be waiting for them, free of other animals.
Silverfur decided they would move on.
They also found a large bush, more hollowed trees, and lastly a small cave.
The cave was big enough that it could fit probably three full grown cats in it. Fitting Silverfur and Snowkit would be no problem.
"Here," Silverfur mewed.
She padded into the den and looked around, a few cobwebs here and there, some dirt, nothing out of the ordinary.
She padded out and began to show Snowkit where to find moss around the area.

"That?" Snowkit pointed to a pile of feathers with his tail.
Silverfur looked around, if there were feathers, was there a bird?
She looked for the bird, knowing it wasn't far away.
Suddenly she scented another cat.
Pulling Snowkit close she quickly grabbed the feathers and began to push Snowkit towards the new den.
"W-what wron?" Snowkit stuttered.
Silverfur didn't answer, she had no time, she had to make sure he was safe.
"Where are you going?" Snarled a cat from behind her.
Silverfur whipped around, "Honey!" She squeeled, "it's you!"
"S-Silver?" The cat mewed, "I thought you joined the clans?"
"Riverclan, they told me to leave. I 'wasn't able to contribute', seeing as I've been to the cutter." Silverfur rolled her eyes at the thought of the clan that had rejected her.
"Why didn't you come back?" Honey asked.
"You know what Hazel would have said!" Silverfur defended herself.
"She would have said-" honey began.
"'You're a house cat, not a mouse cat,'" the two chorused. Their adopted mother had said that often.
"What are you doing here?" Silverfur mewed.
"Hazel met a new tom, she had kits. She says that now I'm a threat to the kits so I had to leave," Honey looked at the ground sadly.
"She was such a good mother to us when we were young-!" Silverfur mewed.
Honey nodded, "she's changed."
"Who? Who that?" Snowkit tugged her tail.
"Who's the kit?" Honey asked.
"This, this is Snowkit. He was taken from his clan by a bird, tossed on the ground, where I found him," Silverfur looked affectionately at the small tom.
"Well Snowkit, I'm Honey. Pleased to meet you," Honey Bows her head.
"He can't hear you," Silverfur mewed.
"What do you mean he can't hear me? He's standing right there," Honey tilted her head.
"He's deaf," Silverfur mewed.
