Rivendell

I couldn't sleep. Big surprise right?

No not really.

Anyway, I decided I'd go to the shooting range.

Once I changed, tying my cloak around my neck, making sure not to tangle my necklaces. I then placed my weapons on my back.

I threw my hood over my head, letting it cover my face.

As I headed down,  I noticed two hooded figures, walking towards the stables.

(What are those two doing?)

I pushed my lips together wondering if I should follow them, or not.

I watched them disappear into the stables.

(Ah, Valar!) I shouted in my head, as I followed them to the stables.

I made it to the entrance of the stables, hearing their hushed whispers.

"Come on lets hurry up, Elrohir. Before someone notices us." Elladan whispered.

Oh I couldn't help my self. It was too perfect. Too easy.

I walked into the stables, making my appearance noticed. 

"To late."

Both, men? No, boys? Uh, I'll just say elves. Both elves jumped, scared out of their minds. Only to calm down, now knowing its just me.

"Oh, its just you Squirt." Elrohir said relived.

"Yea, we thought it was someone important."

I smiled.

"Oh, but you have no idea how important I can be." I replied walking to them.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, come on Elladan. Don't act like you don't know."

He still looked confused. Not a surprise.

"I now you two are heading out somewhere and do not want to get caught. I could leave right now and tell 'Ada.'"

"Ah, but we know you sister, dear." Elrohir replied.

"Oh, really?"

"Yes, you won't tell 'Ada.'" Elladan said.

"Oh really?" I asked again.

"Really. Unless- No." Elrohir replied.

"What?"

"You're not coming with us." They both stated.

"Why not?"

"You don't even know where we are going." Elladan said..

"Somewhere important. - Where?"

"North." Elrohir answered.

I held my breath.

"-He's dying isn't he?"

They both nodded.

"I'm coming with you."

"No." They both repeat again.

"Yes. I haven't seen him in forty-one years. And I know to an elf that's not very long, - but I - I want to say goodbye."

My brothers looked at each other, then to me, then back to each other.

Elladan sighed, looking back at me.

'Ada, ' is going to kill us."

I smiled, jumping into their arms.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you." I whispered.

"Alright, alright. Hurry up."

I went over to Meríco, who neighed happily, seeing me.

"Sh. Meríco." ''Dan nelon, Meríco. - Tell yelìn.''

''Be silent, Fast. - Good boy.''     

"Ready?"

"Ready." I answered, getting on Meríco.

"Then let's ride."

"Wait, what kind of letter did you leave?"

"One that just says we headed to Bree, and would be back in a few weeks."

I nodded.

"This is beautiful." I whispered, as we rode there the woods.

"Indeed sister, dear." Elladan agreed.

"How much farther?"

"Not much longer."

"Its very well hidden."

"Have to be."

"Why? What are they hiding?"

"Not a what. A who."

"Who could - Oh I remember -"

Just then Elladan threw his hand over my mouth.

''Nelonle.''   ''Silence.''

He took his hand off my mouth. 

'Raeto sraede tanwn utanw tonodew.'

'We do not want unwanted ears to ear.'

I nodded.

"You picked up a few. I'm impressed."

"Kind of hard not to."

"I think my nose is bleeding." I stated checking. "Oh, yep. Look at that."

"You are complaining about a nosebleed? And this is coming from an elf who as, been poisoned, twice."

"Yes, but I not from my own brothers."  I said trying to stop it.

"Don't worry we'll stop somewhere so you can wash it off."

"Oh, no this makes me look more manly." I said pounding my chest. "That I'm tough."

"Yes, we are so proud."

"Your sarcasm is noticed."

"Good."

"So tomorrow, we head Northeast, we should be there, by midday."

"So why did we stop, if we were so close."

"The horses need rest."

I looked at me brothers.

(They could have made another few hours.)

But I just let it slide.

"What does it look like?"

3rd POV

Later that night

"Elladan, are you sure about this?"

"Yes, Elrohir. She'll be fine."

They both looked at their sleeping sister. Who had no clue on what was to come.

They looked back at each other.

"But, she's are sister. She just started to trust us again."

"I know, but it's the only way.  She'll be fine." Elladan said looking back at her. "She'll be fine."

With that they left, into the night.

Leaving their sister behind.
