Princess Sofia and her best friend Prince Hugo have had many exciting adventures together, and there was one adventure they would never forget.

Sofia once made the mistake of telling the secret of her magical amulet to her older stepsister Amber. Amber was so jealous that she stole the amulet from Sofia, and that was such a bad deed that the amulet cursed Amber by bringing the evil Prince Arthur to Hugo's kingdom. Arthur was originally first in line to be king of his kingdom but lost the title to his younger brother. Arthur was so jealous that he tried to overthrow his brother but was caught and marooned on a deserted island for five years. When Arthur was brought to Hugo's kingdom, he tried to take over the young prince's home—and since the amulet brought him there in the first place and would bring him back to his island, he even plotted to destroy it, so it wouldn't send him back. Arthur tried to hit Sofia with one of his memory-erasing dragonflies, but Amber let herself take the hit instead, and that broke the curse. After that, Arthur was sent back to his island prison.

After all that excitement, Sofia vowed to never tell Amber the secret of her amulet again, or Arthur will come back. Sofia and Hugo were relieved that his kingdom was safe—but just because Sofia never told Amber about the amulet again, it didn't mean that they'll never see Arthur again.
