Garrick and Axel led the kids to the entrance of the indoor ice rink. The "Off Limits" sign was still up, and Axel took it down.

"We're going into the vacant room?" Hugo asked.

"Yes, we have a very special surprise waiting for you in here," Garrick smiled. "Are you ready to see it?"

Hugo nodded.

"Okay, close your eyes," Axel smiled.

Hugo closed his eyes. Samira opened the door, and everyone went in. They were all amazed by the indoor ice rink. Axel and Garrick carefully escorted Hugo inside.

"Okay, champ, you can open your eyes now," Garrick told Hugo.

Hugo opened his eyes—and he was very surprised when he saw the beautiful ice rink.

"What is this?" Hugo gaped.

"Your very own indoor ice rink," Garrick grinned.

"We spent less than five months building it," Axel added.

"So this is why you've been keeping me so busy with royal duties," Hugo realized.

"Yes, it was your brother's idea," Samira told him.

"I thought you'd like an ice rink of your own," Axel grinned.

Hugo was touched. "I have to say, I'm touched—you didn't have to do this," he smiled.

"Nonsense," Axel insisted. "This will be very useful. You can always ice-dance in her when my hockey team has the outdoor ice rink in the winter."

"And you'll never have to go outside to ice-dance in the dark," Garrick assured his youngest son. "You can ice-dance in here at night. That's where the star-stones come in handy."

Everyone looked around and saw the star-stones all over the rink.

"The best part is that this will be your favorite place to be in the summer, especially if it's too hot to go outside," Axel smiled.

Hugo was touched. Axel secretly entering him in an ice-dancing contest was one thing, but he seriously couldn't believe all the trouble his family went through to build this ice rink.

"Thank you so much," Hugo smiled, trying not to cry.

The whole family came in for a big bear hug. Everyone else smiled at how happy the family was. They'd never seen such a beautiful moment.

"Well, aren't you going to play in your new rink, champ?" Garrick asked.

"Only if everyone joins me in the fun," Hugo smiled.

Everyone wanted to join Hugo in the fun. They all put on their enchanted ice skates and got in the rink.

Everyone could tell that Hugo was really enjoying himself. He realized that this birthday wasn't so strange after all—it was really the best birthday ever.

Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Hugo as Samira showed him a birthday cake. Hugo blew out the candles. He looked at Axel with a smirk and got a little icing on his big brother's nose. Axel retaliated, and everyone was laughing.
