The trio made it to Sofia's ice rink, and Hugo was already there, putting on his skates.

"Hey, what happened?" Hugo asked. "Is something wrong?"

"Oh, we're fine," Jade declared, suppressing a glare.

"Okay, let's get started," Sofia declared. She picked up Hugo's other skate and put it on his foot.

Jade's and Ruby's eyes were green with jealousy. Then Ruby had an idea.

"Sofia, remember that hand clap we always did?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, our hand clap!" Jade agreed.

"Hand clap?" Hugo asked.

"It's this special thing we do together," Sofia told him.

"The only other person we do it with is Amber," Jade admitted.

Jade and Ruby did their hand clap with Sofia. "Like three birdies in a nest, three friends are the very best! Like three berries on a vine, three friends always make it fine! One, two, three! It's how we're meant to be!"

The girls shared a laugh. It felt good for Ruby and Jade to do at least something without Hugo. They didn't think it would be possible for Sofia to teach Hugo the hand clap because it took at least three people.

"Okay, let's get started," Sofia smiled.

Hugo and the girls got onto the ice and started dancing. Ruby and Jade did ordinary ice-dancing while Sofia and Hugo did Enchanted Ice-Dancing.

The hand clap made Jade and Ruby feel better, but they heard Sofia and Hugo laughing. Seeing the duo have a lot of fun increased Ruby and Jade's jealousy.

It was close to the end of the day, and the quartet was in Sofia's room. Hugo was reading a book while Sofia was sitting on her bed with Clover on her lap.

Suddenly, Baileywick came in and said, "Prince Hugo, your brother is here to take you home."

"Okay," Hugo nodded. "I'll be there in a minute."

Ruby and Jade were by the door, and they decided to have a private conversation, so they snuck out.

"This is perfect!" Jade beamed. "When Prince Hugo leaves, we'll have Sofia to ourselves!"

"This is going to be great!" Ruby grinned.

"As long as nothing has happened," Axel frowned.

Ruby and Jade turned and realized that Axel was listening. Axel has disliked Ruby and Jade since the big Dazzleball game after Ruby knocked his little brother unconscious with a Dazzleball.

Inside, Sofia's room, Sofia offered, "Hey, Hugo, do you want to do a two-way hand clap before you go?"

"Okay," Hugo nodded.

Axel, Ruby, and Jade were standing outside Sofia's door, so they could see her performing a hand clap with Hugo.

Sofia and Hugo were chanting, "Like two birdies in a nest, two friends are the very best! Like two berries on a vine, two friends always make it fine! One and two! It's what we are, and that's tried and true!"

Axel smiled and chuckled, but Ruby and Jade were horrified that Sofia taught Hugo their hand clap. They didn't think it would be possible for only two people to do it.

"You taught Prince Hugo our hand clap?" Jade gasped.

"Sorry, guys, but you thought it was okay to teach it to Amber, and you expected me to be okay with it," Sofia pointed out. "You should be okay with me teaching it to Hugo. You should also be all right with us doing our own hand clap."

Sofia and Hugo had done their own hand clap before, and it had to do with team spirit. They happily chanted, "5, 6, 7, 8! Working as a team is great! If we stick together and never quit, there's never a game that we can't win! Go, team!"

Sofia and Hugo shared a good laugh.

"All right, break it up," Axel laughed. "It's time to get home."

Jade and Ruby remembered teaching the hand clap to Amber, and they expected Sofia to be all right with it. But they weren't okay with Sofia teaching it to Hugo.

"You know, it's getting late," Ruby said hastily.

"Yeah, we should get going too," Jade agreed.

Ruby and Jade picked up their skates and went out the door. Sofia was concerned for them, and Hugo and Axel sensed their jealousy.

"Jealousy issue?" Axel asked.

"It sure seems like it," Sofia frowned. "I hope they can get over it soon."

"Me too," Axel sighed.
