The trio took off in a coach to Royal Prep. Pretty soon, they reached Royal Prep and went to the stables. Prince Hugo and his flying horse Electra were waiting for them. "Hey, James, Sofia," he said. He noticed Pink Sofia's flying derby outfit—and thinking she was the real Sofia, he said, "Sofia, I like your new outfit."

"Thank you," said Pink Sofia, curtseying. "I have a little something I want to give you, fair prince."

Pink Sofia took out the box and showed Hugo the pin.

"It's a wonderful pin, Sofia," Hugo said. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, and allow me," said Pink Sofia, putting the pin of Hugo's vest. "May it bring you good luck." Then she whispered to herself, "You're going to need it!"

"Let's get started," said James. He and Pink Sofia went into the stables, and he showed her the real Sofia's flying horse.

"This is Sofia's flying horse, Minimus," said James. He explained to Minimus that Pink Sofia will be riding him for practice while the real Sofia is sleeping at home. Minimus agreed to ride with Pink Sofia. Pink Sofia thought flying derby would be fun—as long as she was going to do something bad.

As James, Pink Sofia, and the horses came out, they noticed something going on with Hugo.

"What's wrong with Hugo?" Amber asked.

"Let's go and see him," said James. As he and Amber went to see Hugo, Pink Sofia giggled at how clumsy Hugo looked—and the reason he was clumsy was because of the magically cursed pin she gave him. Minimus noticed Pink Sofia giggling at the predicament Hugo was having, and he had a very bad feeling about her.

"What's wrong, Hugo?" asked James.

"I don't know," said Hugo. "I was just getting on Electra when, all of a sudden, I fell down."

"Impossible," said Amber. "You never fall off your horse."

"It's like I have a case of the clumsies," said Hugo.

"Oh, maybe you'll get over your sudden clumsiness sooner or later, Prince Hugo," said Pink Sofia. "I promised I'd show you the double swerve, so we should get started on it."

"Yeah, you're right, Sofia," said Hugo.

Hugo and Pink Sofia got on their horses and took off to the sky. Pink Sofia was showing Hugo the double swerve when she directed him to fly toward a tree. Hugo had a bit of a bad feeling about the double swerve. "Are you sure this is how it's supposed to go, Sofia?" he asked, looking over his shoulder, failing to look where he was going. He turned his head and saw an oncoming tree right in front of him. "Whoa!"

Electra evaded a crash just in time. Amber and James noticed that Pink Sofia had almost gotten Hugo to fly into a tree. Because of the pin, Hugo almost flew into another tree.

Pink Sofia sneered at Hugo. She directed Minimus right in front of Electra and brought him to a halt.

"Look out!" Hugo cried. Electra stopped suddenly, causing the prince to fall down on a crash pad below.

"Pink Sofia did that on purpose!" cried James. "We'd better go and see."

James and Amber went over to where Hugo had landed, and Pink Sofia went over to see.

"Hugo, are you okay?" asked James.

"Oh, I'm sorry," said Pink Sofia sarcastically. "Did I do that?"

"Yes, you did," jeered Hugo. "What is going on with you, Sofia? You're not usually like this."

"I'm just having a little fun," smirked Pink Sofia.

"Do you really think making Hugo fall off his horse is fun?" Amber asked. "That's a terrible thing to do."

"Well, if you don't like it, then it's your problem," said Pink Sofia. Hugo was surprised at her, and Amber and James didn't know why she wasn't acting like the real Sofia.

"You're not being very nice," said James.

"Well, that's because I'm not very nice," smirked Pink Sofia. "I'm a Bad Sofia!"

Amber and the princes were shocked. "A Bad Sofia? What do you mean by that?" Hugo asked.

Amber and James realized that the duplication spell went wrong.

"We must've messed up the spell," Amber said to James.

"What spell?" Hugo asked. Amber and James had realized that they had been caught since Hugo had overheard what they said.

"The real Sofia is back in the castle," said James.

"We used a duplication spell to make a copy of her, so she could get some rest while the copy teaches you the double swerve," Amber explained.

"But they messed up the spell and created a Bad Sofia," said Pink Sofia with smirk. "You can call me 'Sofia the Worst'!" She knocked Hugo's helmet off his head and ran off.

Hugo was about to pick up his helmet when he tripped and fell down. "Does the real Sofia know that her copy is evil?" he asked.

"No, we'd better tell her right away," said James, putting the helmet on him. "Amber can go back to the castle and get the real Sofia while we take care of Bad Sofia," he added, helping Hugo on his feet.

"But Sofia needs more rest," said Amber.

"But she really needs to know that her copy is a rotten troublemaker," Hugo pointed out. "It would be a bad idea to keep it a secret from her. You have to go and get her right away."

"Alright," said Amber.

Sir Gilliam and the fairies saw what was going on.

"What is going on out there?" asked Merryweather. "This really isn't like Princess Sofia."

"And Prince Hugo doesn't seem like himself," said Sir Gilliam. "I'm calling his parents."
