"Ok then, I'll take your leave now" she stood up and handed over her card to Bunty too.

She walked towards the door, but turned back to say, "I'll wait for your call Mr Dixit. And I hope, your answer would be Yes!!" She smiled and left, closing the door behind her.

"Yeh toh haddh hogayi!!! Dev Dixit wahan shop mein khade the aur tune unhe pehchana bhi nahiin??" Riya asked surprised

"Yaar tu bhi kammal karti hai. Main toh soch bhi nahiin sakti thi ki itna bada industralist ek flower shop mein khada hoga" Sakshi replied, thinking over the incident

"Hmmm...yeh toh hai. Phir kya hua??" asked Riya curiously

"Kya hona tha?? Jab main unke office pahunchi toh meri toh bolti band hogayi. Lekin sirf main nahiin, woh bhi bohot shocked the. Aise dekh rahe the jaisi ki koi bhoot dekh liya ho" answered Sakshi

"Kya yaar tu bhi. Accha dekh!! Main tere liye tera favourite gajar ka halwa layi hun. Khaa ke batankaisa hai" and handed over the tiffin to Sakshi

"Thanks Riya. Tu meri pasand ka kitna dhyaan rakhti hai aur tune banaya hai toh accha hi hoga naa" Sakshi smiled and kept it in her plate to eat.

"Accha yeh bata, tujhe lagta hai ki tu Dev Dixit iss biography ke liye ready honge? Tu toh keh rahi thi ki bohot logon ne koshish ki par aajtak unhone kisi ko haan nahiin ki"

"Aaj tak unhe meri jaisi mili hi nahiin hogi" Sakshi said proudly and relished the halwa.

Dev reached his house and walked absentmindedly towards the stairs. He no longer called his house a home, cause there was no one to fill it with love and care. Ravindra had passed seven years back and with Asha passing away last year due to massive cardiac arrest, he had no one in this entire world to call his own.

He went to his room and switched on the lights. Empty room. Empty house. And Empty Life.

He took a few steps ahead and stood in front of Sonakshi's large potrait that hung on his wall.

"Happy Birthday Sonakshi" he whispered, caressing her face in the picture.

Today had been a long day. He was emotionally worn out that day. From an accidental meeting with Sonakshi's look alike at the florist to her coming over to his office and introducing herself as Sakshi had really disturbed him. He went to the balcony to breathe some fresh air and recalled the days, had spent with Sonakshi.

FLASHBACK (Chapter 3 of Love Till Eternity)

Both were lost in their thoughts and bumped into each other.

Sonakshi: "Ahh...."(rubbing her forehead)

Dev was startled and immediately looked up to see her.

Dev(coming forward): "Am sorry Sonakshi....mera dhyaan nahiin tha...aapko zyada chot toh nahiin lagi??"

Sonakshi looked towards him and said:" Its ok....zyada chot nahiin lagi hai"

Saying so, she bent down again to pick up her books which had fallen down.

Dev also sat and helped her in assembling her books. He finally handed over the books to her and their hands touched for a moment sending jitters to Dev. He didn't even want to leave her hand but Sonakshi pulled her hand away and said" Thank you so much for your help...I need to go the library...see you later"

Saying so, she went away. Dev's trance was broken only when she walked past him. He smiled and ruffled his hair. He was experiencing some unknown feelings but wasn't sure about which name should he give to them!!

(Chapter 4 of Love Till Eternity)

Bunty: "Dev bhai....tu kitna intelligent hai....handsome hai aur smart hai... aur..."(but he was interrupted by Dev)

Dev: (teasingly) "Kya baat hai Bunty!! Badi tareef kar raha hai meri?? Seedhe seedhe bol kya chahiye!!"

Bunty: "Umm...woh kya hai naa Dev...mere cousins aayen hain Jaipur se...toh unhe naa Mumbai ghumaana tha....iss liye please aaj ke liye teri car borrow kar sakta hun??"

Dev: "Bass itni si baat?? Haan haan...le ja....par dhyaan se car chalana"

Bunty hugged him and said "Thanks a lot Dev....tu kitna accha dost hai....aacha yeh le mere bike ke keys....tu isse apne ghar chala ja"

Dev: "Haan theek hai chalte hain...waise bhi late ho raha hai" and walked towards the parking.

Here, Niti had pulled Sonakshi, Elena and Tanu with her and they had manged to hide themselves behind a bush near the parking lot.

Sonakshi: "Niti....tu hume yahaan kyon layi hai??"

Niti: "Ruk naa Sona....dekh abhi maza aayega" she said excitedly

They saw Dev and Bunty coming towards the parking lot laughing with each other.

Bunty went towards Dev's car and said "Accha....chal bye Dev....thanks a lot"

Saying so he hopped in the driver's seat while Dev went towards his bike.

Seeing this, Niti was visibly tensed and said "Arre yeh kya!!.....saara game kharaab ho gaya!!"

Tanu was puzzled and asked, "kaunsa game?? Kya hua??"

Niti: "Arre maine toh Bunty ko maza chakane ke liye uski bike ki  brake wire nikaal di thi....lekin ab ispe to Dev hai" she said worriedly

Elena: "Kya?? Kya kya tune Niti?? Chal bhaag yahaan se!!" and everyone ran away except for Sonakshi

She was worried about Dev and and ran behind the bike calling him. However, by then Dev had already picked up speed and wasn't able to hear her. After hardly covering a few metres from the college gate, the bike tumbled and collapsed. Dev tried to control the bike but wasn't able to do so and fell down with a thud.

(Chapter 5 of Love Till Eternity)

Sonakshi knocked the door of Dev's room and entered inside

Dev, who was reading a magazine was startled seeing her in hospital. For a moment, he felt that he was imagining...

Sonakshi smiled and greeted him "Hello"

Dev came back to his senses and replied "Hello....aap door ke paas kyon khadi hain?? Andar aayiye....main aapko kha nahiin jaunga" and laughed at his own joke

Sonakshi came inside said smilingly "Nahiin aisi baat nahiin hai, waise  kaisi tabiyat hai ab aapki??" she enquired

Dev looked towards his fractured hand and said "Theek hi hai....bas yeh fracture bohot pareshaan kar raha hai"

Sonakshi looked towards him sadly and said "Am so sorry....meri wajah se aapko yeh chot lagi....(but was interupted by Dev)

Dev: "Aapki wajah se??  Arre ismein aapki kya galti hai....yeh toh meri wajah se hua...main apna balance kho baitha aur..."(but this time, he was interupted by Sonakshi)

Sonakshi: "Nahiin nahiin....yeh aapke wajah se nahiin hua, kisi aur ne practical joke kiya aur aapko itni chot lag gayi" she said apologetically

Dev: "Accha?? Aisa kya?? Chodiye....yeh sab toh student's ki life mein chalta rehta hai....anyways, aap baithiye naa" (pulling a stool from his right hand)

Sonakshi sat down and said "Thank you"

Now, there was an awkward silence between them. Both of them wanted to say so many things but didn't knew how....

Sonakshi was getting conscious by the way Dev was staring at her....Finally he decided to ask "Ek baat puchun?? Puch hi leta hun....aaj koi nayi baat hai kya?"

Sonakshi: "Nayi baat?? Nahiin toh?? Kyon??"

Dev: "Aaj aapne saree pehni hai na isiliye"

Sonakshi: "Kabhi kabhi pehenti hun....aur aaj mujhe mandir bhi jaana tha...kyon?? Acchi nahiin lag rahi kya??"

Dev without thinking said: "Arre nahiin nahiin....aap toh humesha hi beautiful dikhti hain....jab jeans top mein hoti hain tab bhi, jab gussa karti hain tab bhi aur aaj bhi aap bohot hi zyada.....(he realised what he had said) umm....mera matlab alag lag rahi hain"

A nurse barged into the room. She was very strict and said "Yeh kya hai?? Kitni baar kaha hai ki visitors sirf visiting hours mein allowed hain?? Abhi tumhaara friend gaya toh tumhaari Girlfriend aa gayi!!"

"Nahiin...."  both of them shouted in unision. Their eyes met and both looked away embarassed.

"Yeh meri Girlfriend nahiin hai....meri classmate hai" cleared Dev

"Arre sab pata hai mujhe....tum chokra chokri kaa....mujhe mat batao...aur (and the nurse was shouting and shouting)

After he had his medicines, Sonakshi said, "Accha....main chalti hun"

Dev was visibly dissappointed and asked "Itni jaldi??"

Sonakshi replied "Haan....Maa ghar par wait kar rahi hongi....main chalti hun...Bye...take care"

Dev too smiled and said "Bye"

As she was walking towardsthe door, Dev called her name "Sonakshi"

She turned around and Dev said "Thanks for coming" and smiled

Sonakshi nodded her head shyly and closed the door behind her as she walked away.

I know am late in giving the update, but trust me, this wont be repeated again....

This chapter, majorly consisted of flashback from LTE. It was needed to give the LTE feels in this FF and most importantly to understand the nature and character of the leads.
