"So, what do you like to do? I build inventions that can change the future. And fly a lot." Tails commented as he walked behind Sonic.

"Well, I like to run, save these flickies from the badniks everywhere. See? I'll destroy this monkey robot." Sonic jumped up at the badnik as soon as it threw a coconut.

"Oww. First spikes and now this monkey. What else is next?"

"I'll do it! Can I?" Tails asked sweetly.

"Sure. Just don't hurt yourself."

Tails flew under the monkey and destroyed it with his tails.

"Wow. With your skills I'll have no problem beating Dr. Robotnic." Sonic started to run.

"Wait!" Tails said from behind. "Who's Dr. Robotnic?"

"Just an evil scientist who captures flickies and puts them in badniks. And I keep foiling his plan every time."

"That's amazing! Do you think I'll see him?"

"Why you want to see him? He's my arch nemesis!"

"Just asking. How many rings you have?"

"50. Why? Is there some sort of surprise or something?"

"If you go past that starpost, you can go to the special stage, and get a chaos emerald!"

"How you know all this stuff?"

"I learnt it in a book! See?" Tails held up a book.

"Yeah, okay. Now where's this checkpoint?"

"It's a starpost, and it's right in front of you."

"Oh, well then, let's get this chaos emerald!" Sonic said as he jumped into the circle of stars.
