The Body

I kinda felt like I was being watched, but it soon went away.

"Be careful." Tails warned. "This forest is known for ghosts, dead souls without a purpose, people say. Nobody's ever saw the ghost, but people heard it singing, like a syren, trying to bring you in. People followed the voice and were never heard from. People rather calling ghosts a thing. Some people also heard a girl shouting for help. But they found nobody..." Tails told me, and I smirked.

"Sounds like an adventure itself! And who said a few hauntings would scare me?" I asked. Tails smiled and shook his head.

"Just be careful." Tails warned.

"I will!" I replied, running into the forest to see the "thing". My only hope was that I could see something amazing. Maybe the ghost could lead us to treasure. I thought.

It was a couple hours later. I was deep in the forest, when I heard singing, beautiful singing. I started following it. I didn't care what Tails said, ghosts weren't real, right? I soon saw something buried on the ground, with a piece of clothing poking out. It was purple with white polka dots. "Huh?" I asked, confused. I felt like I should dig it up. "Maybe it's treasure..." I said hopefully, as I gently uncovered some earth, revealing a hand. "AHH!!!" I screamed, falling on the ground and crawling backwards. I heard something come from the bushes. It was Tails.

"Sonic what's-" Tails started until he saw the hand. "Oh my gosh..." Tails said, taking the words Straight from my mouth.
