Sora (POV)
Before my match, Kirishima beat Tetsutesu in an arm wrestling match so he's moving on. Bakugo is getting a by in this round because fuck the rules I guess. I enter the ring and across from me is Iida.
Present Mic- Okay folks, we are beginning the second round with this matchup! We have a the water lightning combo kid, Sora Nakamura!!!
The crowd cheers.
Present Mic- And across from him we have the speedster Tenya Iida!!!!
Iida- Though we are friends Sora, I must unfortunately have to beat you.
Sora- Iida, if you know what's best for you, get out of the ring when the match starts. I'm not in the mood right now and I'm afraid I'm going to hurt you.
Iida- What?
Present Mic- 3....2.....1....Begin!!!!
I powered up and blue lightning surrounded all of me.
Sora- RUN!!
Iida- I will not. Recipro...
Sora- Electromagnetic Murder!!!
I open my palms and release dozens of blue lighting that rips of the ground as it quickly makes its way to Iida.

Thankfully Iida ran in the opposite direction and got himself out of bounds.
Midnight- And that's the match! Sora Nakamura moves on to the next round semifinals!
The crowd cheers and I go up into the stands to watch the rest of the fights. Izuku beat Shinso, Liz beat Hatsume, Todoroki beat kirishima Tokoyami beat Mina. So the semifinal matchups are Me vs Liz, Todoroki vs Izuku, and Tokoyami vs Bakugo. And to start things off, Todoroki and Izuku are up first.
As we were getting ready to watch the next fight, Ochako came back.
Sora- Oh hey. You're back. Are you ok?
She sits in the seat next to me.
Ochako- I'm fine now.
Sora- That's good to hear.
She puts her head on my shoulder and uses it as a headrest. I could feel Liz staring daggers in the back of my head because of this.
Sora *mind*- Oh boy.
Present Mic- I can feel the anticipation in the stadium! And that's because this semifinals match is gonna be epic! It's the guy who left half of the audience literally frozen in his first round match. The hero course's Shoto Todoroki!!! And this kid almost walked out of his last matchup, but made a stunning comeback by showing us some impressive moves. Also from the hero course, Izuku Midoryia!!!
Izuku (POV)
Todoroki- So here we are.
Izuku- And only one of us can win.
Todoroki- All I have to do is beat you, then I get to face him.
He looks at Sora in the stands.
Izuku- You're gonna have to get past me first.
We both get in our stances
Present Mic- Begin!!!!
He jumps back and sends a wave of ice at me.
Izuku- Smash!
I flick my middle finger of my right hand and the impact destroyed his ice and it was still coming for him but he created an ice rock behind him so that he wouldn't fly out of the ring and lose. My middle finger is broken now. He sends another ice barrage at me.
Izuku- Uh Smash!
I used my index finger on my right hand and I got the same result. This one is broken too.
Izuku *mind*- I don't know much about Todoroki's fighting style. His attacks are so fast that it's hard to collect data on him. So, during this fight I need to focus on finding an opening somewhere. The ice behind him is probably how he plans to keep from being blown out of bounds by my smashes. Which means.... I was right to break my fingers. If I'd spent my arm on an entire Smash and the ice held up, I'd be doomed. I can figure this out. Come on. Find a weak spot. I've only got six more chances.
Todoroki- Let's continue.
He sends yet another barrage of ice to me and I use my ring finger on my right hand to Smash the ice away.
Izuku *mind*- Five more chances.
Todoroki- You want an endurance match. But I'll end this quickly.
Another barrage, another Smash, and another finger broken. The right pinkie this time.
Izuku *mind*- That's all the fingers on my right hand!
This time, Todoroki creates a pathway of ice and starts rushing me.
Izuku- No!
I use my bandaged middle finger on my left to Smash. He jumps of before his ice is destroyed. He lines up for a punch but jump back a ways and all the Todoroki punches is the ground which he froze with that punch. His reaction time was good because he immediately sent another barrage of ice and it got my foot and began to freeze me solid.
Izuku *mind*- Oh no. Not good!
He creates ice behind him again as I prepare to Smash with my left ring finger. I decide against it and use my whole fist to Smash and hit the ice.
Izuku- Ahhhh!!
Todoroki gets blown back but he creates multiple ice rocks to slow him down until he comes to a complete stop.
Todoroki- That was more powerful than any of your previous attacks. You're trying to keep me away. Smart.
Izuku *mind*- It's not just that his quirk is powerful. His judgment, mobility and reasoning....All of his abilities.....are incredible.
Todoroki- What's the matter? Are you really that worn out front defending against my attacks?
I notice that he's shaking.
Todoroki- I'm about this, but thanks for drawing it out. Look at him. He's furious I'm not using his power. With your hands like that, you can't fight anymore can you? Why don't we end this?
He sends another wave of ice at me.
Izuku- I am not done yet!
I use Smash with my broken right index finger breaking it even more but it caught Todoroki off guard and sent him flying. He was gonna go out of bounds but he created ice to stall himself.
Todoroki- Damn it. With your broken finger? Why are you going this far?
Izuku- You're trembling Todoroki. It's easy to forget that quirks are physical abilities, and that means there's a limit to the cold your body can take, right? I get it. Usually you'd make up for the temperature drop by using the heat from your left side. But you refuse to do that now. Listen, we're all giving it our all to try and win.... To make our dreams into reality. To become number 1! You think you can win with half your strength?! Look at me Todoroki! You haven't managed to leave a single scratch on me yet! So come at me with all you've got!
