Izuku (POV)
Todoroki- Midoryia...What are you trying to do here? You want my fire? What, did my monster of a dad bribe you or something? Now I'm mad!
He rushes me
Izuku *mind*- His movements are slower.
He leapt into the air and I get ready to attack.
Izuku- Imagine the egg in the microwave.
My right arm lights up.
Izuku- It won't explode. I've got this.
I nail Todoroki right in his stomach and he gets sent back. Before he did, he froze my left arm. He sends another ice attack but it's slower so I easily avoided it. In that time he rushed me and I moved to the side and used Smash with one of my fingers to send him through his own ice. He gets up and I run at him. He sends another ice barrage at me. I couldn't make a fist so I stuck my broken right thumb in the side of my mouth.
Izuku- Smash!!
We both get sent flying. We both slowly get up.
Todoroki- Why are you putting yourself through this?
Izuku- I want to live up to people's expectations. I want to be able to smile while doing something good for them. I wanna be a pro. Whatever it takes to be a hero!
He seems to space out so I dash towards him and headbut him in his chest.
Izuku- That's why I'll give it my all just like you should be! There's no way I can know what you've gone through, or why you're even here. Your life has been so much different than mine, but right now stop screwing around. If you wanna reject your father, fine, but you don't have the right to be number one if you aren't going to use your full power.
I rush him and prepare to use Smash with my right arm.
Izuku- That's why, I'm going to win this!! (Lands punch) I'll surpass you!!
I bounced off the ground a couple times before coming to a stop. He then slowly gets to his feet.
Todoroki- I will reject you. I refuse to use my left side.
Izuku- It's yours! Your quirk, not his!!
He ignites his left side and a plume of fire reaches up in the air.
Todoroki- You're helping your opponent. You fool. Even though you wanna win this battle. Now which one of us is screwing around? I want it too. I'll be a hero!
I smirk.
Izuku- Amazing.
Todoroki- Why are you smiling? With those injuries. In this hopeless situation....You must be crazy. Don't blame me for what happens next.
He charges both his ice and fire while I do the same while charging One For All in my legs.
Cementoss- That's it midnight. One of them could be killed.
Midnight- His body won't hold up.
A big iceberg of ice gets created and blasted towards me. I blast off over it and head straight for Todoroki.
Izuku *mind*- Gotta try and get close and give it everything! Come at me with your full power Todoroki!!
A big plunge of fire escapes and starts to fill the area as he lifts his left hand. I use the most power I could manage in my right arm. It rips my shirt. Cement walls get erected before we could hit each other but there was still a big explosion.
Sora (POV)
We get blasted by wind from the explosion.
Sora- Holy shit!! This is amazing!!!
Once the smoke cleared, Izuku was up against the stadium wall and he falls out.
Midnight- There. Midoryia is...out of bounds. Todoroki wins! He advances to the final round!
Sora *mind*- I can say I'm thoroughly surprised. I thought Izuku was gonna win for sure but I guess he knocked some sense into Todoroki. Interesting. I better go see Izuku then.
I get up from my seat and exit the stands and go to the infirmary. When I got there, he was already tapped up and All Might
Recovery girl- Your bones in your right arm were completely shattered. They'll never be the same as they were before. I need to remove the bone fragments or they'll be stuck in your joints. I'll heal you afterwards.
He passes out again.
Sora- Hey All Might.
All Might- Hey kid.
Sora-.....he put up one hell of a fight.
All Might- He did....but at what cost? To think he'll go this far just to be number one someday.
Sora- He's gonna need to control his power or he'll never make to number one.
We get interrupted by Ochako, Iida, Tsu, and Mineta.
Recovery girl pushes us out so that she could get ready for surgery.
Ochako- Do you really think Deku is gonna be alright?
Sora- He'll pull through. This isn't the end for him. Not by a long shot.
Intercom- The stage has been repaired. Will Sora Nakamura and Liz Suzuki report to the the stage.
They all look at me.
Sora- It's that time huh?
Tsu- I guess it is. But you'll do great. We believe in you.
Iida- Do your best.
Mineta- Grab her boobies will ya?
Ochako- I'll be rooting for you ok. Try not to get hurt either.
Sora- Thanks guys.
I walk away from them and make my way to the stage
Sora *mind*- Liz. We go way back. But even though you were my first friend, that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you. Be prepared.
