Chapter 20:

Avni was in the corrider she was going to the family she stops by hearing Neil's voice.

Neil: avni.

She stops and turns to him he came to her and hair dryer machine was in his hand avni saw this and look at him.

Neil: aa.

He looks at the other side he was confused how to say.

Neil: ab aa avni you your dress is wet as you cleaned it so

Neil gives her the dryer.

Neil: here is the dryer dry it I know you are feeling uncomfortable in wet dress.

Avni was looking at the machine she took that and their hands touched they look at each other avni instantly took the machine and went Neil smiles avni came to Shweta's room and think their hands touched she throw the machine on the bed and start rubbing her hand she went to the washroom and washed her hands she feels disgust she was harshly washing her hands she look at the mirror she was looking herself in the mirror and she hears some voices.

Man: avni my baby come to me come to your uncle come baby.

Avni start sweating she takes the step back she wipes the sweat from her forehead with her hand and her breathe was uneven she wipes the sweat from upper lips on the other side Neil came to the hall while smiling.

Shweta: here is Neil I was coming to call you.

Neil frown.

Neil: why is everything fine?

Shweta: yes actually you and avni both took time so we thought you too are together.

Neil smiles by looking down then he sit on the couch.

Nm: if Neil is here then where is avni why she is taking too much time.

Neil look at her.

Shweta: let me check.

She was about to go avni came there.

Shweta: here she is?

Neil look at her and frown because she looks pale she was absolutely fine when he meet her then what happened?

Neil in mind: what happened to her she was absolutely fine what happened now?

Shweta: avni what happened are you ok you looks pale.

Avni shows fake smile.

Avni: ya yaa aunty I am fine just feeling low.

Shweta: Oh you didn't eat properly that's why I think you are feeling low can I get something for you?

Avni: no thank you aunty I am fine.

Shweta: but avni.

Avni: aunty i am fine actually I am already feeling low so I don't feel like eating at all.

Ashish and neela maa was looking at her Neil get up.

Neil: avni sit here.

Avni look at him but then look down  she went to neela maa and sit with her Neil shocked.

Neil in mind: why she is behaving strange she was all ok with me sometimes ago then all of a sudden what happened?

Neil was looking at her he notice her wet clothes.

Neil in mind: I gave her the machine to dry her dress then why she didn't dry the dress.

Bebe: avni if you are not feeling well then go to me room and take rest for sometime.

Avni: thank you bebe but I am fine now.

Shweta went and came with the juice.

Shweta: have this avni?

Avni smiles and Take the glass.

Bebe: Neil why you are standing sit.

Neil nodes yes he sit and look at avni he was confused she didn't look at him all spent sometime together and Neil was confused.

Nm: I think we should go now.

Shweta: why please have dinner with us?

Nm: no Shweta thank you but I think we should leave now and avni is also not feeling well so we have to go.

Shweta: ok as you say.

All get.

Ashish: it was nice to meet you.

Prakash: same here.

They hugs ashish went to Neil and holds his shoulders.

Ashish: so son it's time to go but will meet soon.

Neil smiles.

Neil: of course.

Ashish hugs him neela maa meets Shweta and bebe and they meet with avni.

Shweta: take care of yourself hmm.

Avni smiles and nodes yes avni didn't look at neil he was looking at her they went Neil think.

At mehta house they came inside avni directly went to her room and neela maa and ashish look at each other avni came to her room and locks the door she leans to the door and sit she cries.

At night Neil was standing near the window and think about her behaviour.

Neil: suddenly what happened to avni?

Neil's pov:

Neil: today avni came with our family and I didn't knew they are coming I did the exercise and then gardening which I do every Sunday then I came inside my home and heard the car horn I turned and shocked to see avni she was looking beautiful but she feels awkward by seeing me usually she feels shy but today she was feeling awkward I look at my self and shocked to see my self in vest I ran from there and went to them after changing my clothes i went to meet them then I got the surprise they came to talk about our marriage I made sure avni is ready or not she said she is ready but a tear falls from her eye then the date of marriage fixed I was confused then I thought may be she loved someone else but because of her shy nature she is not saying this to anyone then I got the chance to took to her I asked her to come with me in my room she got nervous i know any girl can get nervous at that situation i talked to her and made her sure I will not do anything to her how can I hurt her she agreed and we came to my room where I asked her and she said she don't love any one then I talked to her about our relation avd asked her to trust me we talked she was all ok I asked her to look at the room and tell me if she want any chances but she said everything is perfect she don't want any chances she went then I remember her dress is wet because she cleaned the curry so I took the hair dryer from the drawer and went to her and gave that to her all was good she took that and our hands touched we looked each other and.

Neil shocked.

Neil think and shocked.

Neil: and she took her hand back and went from there then she came and looked pale she start ignoring me again.

Neil shocked.

Neil: is that because our hands touched?

Neil shocked.

Neil: yes after that she is behaving odd now i am hundred percent sure something big happened to her other wise why she behaved like this just because our hands touched I have to find out the truth but how. neela aunty also don't know about it she didn't share with her then how she share with me I have to be careful I can't hurt her today our hands touched and she behaved like that I can't do any mistake which will increase the distance between us I have to deal with this matter carefully I can't lose her I can't lose you avni you become the reason of my life you are my lifeline now I can't live without you.
