Chapter 21:

Avni came to the dinning area and sits though she didn't want to eat but she came for her parents she serve herself but instead of eating she was just playing with the spoon and was lost in her thoughts her one hand was on her neck and she was in deep thoughts neela maa and ashish look at her then to the each other.

Nm: Avnii.

She didn't give her any answer.

Nm: avni.

Avni came out of her thoughts and look at her.

Avni: yes mamma.

Nm: are you ok baby?

Avni smiles.

Avni: yes mamma I am fine.

Nm: then why you are not eating anything?

Avni: mamma I am not hungry.

Nm: you didn't eat anything at khanna house and still you are not hungry are you ok did something happened there?

Avni: no mamma I am fine don't worry.

Avni start eating neela maa look at her she knew avni only share with her when she wants other wise she will not say anything this is what happening since years so neela maa stop asking and give her time after that avni went to her room she was standing in her room.

She thinks.

Flashback.

1 avneil were in the corridor.

Neil: avni I want to talk to you can we go to my room.

Neil: avni I want to talk to you and if someone saw us together here then they start teasing us you know what I mean avni our marriage date is fixed atleast you can trust me that I can not do anything wrong i have no bad intention.

2. In Neil's room:

Neil: avni my bebe always said that a relationship is like a car and it runs on 4 wheels love trust mutual understanding and financial stability.

Neil: avni in our relation my love is enough for both of us mutual understanding will come with the time and I am financially stable now I don't know about the future but now at this time I am financially stable but life is unpredictable and if in future tough time come then we will pass that phase with your support we will face that time together and will come out of all the problems avni all I want from you in our relationship is trust please avni trust me I will never break your heart never take the advantage of you i know my limits I will never cross my line I know it take time to win your trust and I will wait for that day.

3. In the corridor Neil gives her hair dryer to dry her dress.

Neil: here is the dryer dry it I know you are feeling uncomfortable in wet dress.

Avni was looking at the machine she took that and their hands touched.

Then avni again hears the voice of a man.

Man: avni come my baby you are my doll come to me.

Avni start sweating again and again she saw those flashes and Neil and that man's words were echoing in her ears avni keeps the hand on her ears and close her eyes and tears fall from her eyes.

Avni whispers: no no no.

Then she shouts.

Avni: shut up shut up.

A complete silence in the room Avni open her eyes and her eyes were red and tears fall from her eyes.

Avni: all men are same Neil is also like others other wise he would never asked me to go with him in his room he wants to earn my trust his intentions are like others he is saying the good things just to impress me so that he will fulfil his desires and then throw me I don't want to marry him he is a lusty person the way he was looking at me in the birthday party it proves he is like others I can't marry him I can't marry to any person I will call off this marriage yes I will call off this marriage.

She wipes her tears and went from there she was going to neela maa's room she was about to knock the door but she stops to hear neela maa.

Nm: ashish i think we should start the preparation of the wedding we don't have much time.

Avni was listening them.

Ashish: relax neela every thing will be done we have much time so relax i am worried for another thing.

Nm: what?

Ashish: avni today she was all ok till she went up then she came back and she looked lost and pale neela I am so worried about my princess what is bothering her are we doing hurry in her marriage.

Neela maa thinks and avni's eyes filled with tears by seeing her father concern for her she know he loves her but she is still stuck in her past so she made the distance from him she knew he missed her they lived in the same home but he feels she is far away from him.

Ashish: I told you to talk to her tell her we are going to fix the marriage date.

Nm: ashish you are right I thought she said yes because she is marrying Neil for us.

Ashish: what she is marrying Neil for us but why she is doing this she don't need to do this I will talk to prakash we will postpone the marriage I can't see my daughter like this may be she is behaving like this because all a sudden marriage date fixed I am calling prakash.

Tears falls from avni's eyes ashish took his phone.

Nm: ashish listen to me.

Neela maa's phone rings they look at her phone she picks the phones and shocked and shows ashish it's Neil's call ashish sign receive it neela maa nodes and receive the call and put it on speaker.

Nm: hello.

Neil: hello aunty sorry aunty to disturb you at this time I just want to ask about avni is she fine?

Avni look at the door and shocked.

Nm: yes Neil she is fine and I think she would be sleeping by now.

Neil: o ok.

Nm: Neil can I ask you something?

Neil: yes aunty say?

Nm: when avni went to Shweta's room you also went upstairs did you say something to avni?

Neil shocked.

Nm: don't get me wrong actually she was all ok before going and when she came back she said she is feeling unwell.

Neil: yes aunty I met her in the corrider and took her to my room to talk about our marriage that she is ok with it or need time.

Ashish and neela maa look at each other.

Nm: then what she said?

Neil: she said she is ok and we have to get married some day so what's the difference we do it now or later I asked her again she is sure about it she said yes even I asked her to look at the room and tell me if she want any chances but she said no she likes the room and don't want to change anything she was absolutely fine.

Ashish and neela maa smiles avni was listening this.

Nm: ok sorry I asked you this?

Neil: not at all aunty please don't say this you are like mom to me you can ask me anything.

Neela maa smiles avni shocked.

Neil: aunty aa ab aa.

Neil hesitates to say.

Nm: what happened Neil now you said I am like a mother to you so why you are hesitating say what you want to say?

Neil smiles.

Neil: aa aunty can you check avni once for me please.

Neela maa and ashish smiles avni shocked to hear that she wipes her tears.

Nm: of course wait a minute.

Neil: yaa.

She get up avni runs from there she came in her room and close the door she lays on the bed by covering her with the duvet and close her eyes she put the arm on her eyes neela maa comes there she understand avni is awake.

Nm: Neil I told you she must be sleeping by now she is sleeping.

Neil smiles and sighs because she is fine.

Nm: thank you aunty.

Nm: anything for my son.

Neil smiles.

Neil: ok aunty it's too late sorry to disturb you ok bye then.

Neela maa smiles.

Nm: ok bye good night and sweet dreams of my daughter.

Neil smiles sheepishly.

Neil: good night.

He cuts the call and smiles on the other side neela maa look at avni and think.
