Chapter 126:

Khanna mansion has shown and it was the time of evening. Inside it, Avni stopped in the corridor and was blushing hard as they romance and Neil said some cheesy lines which make her blush. Avni thinks and recalls Neil's words. "do you remember what Bebe said, she said no one will be at home tomorrow so, no one will be here to disturb us did you understand what she means."

Avni thinks and smiles.

Avni: now you wait and watch Mr Khanna.

Avni smiles and blushes to think about her plan.

The next day, the Khanna family went for the wedding and Neil to the office, Avni was alone at home. Neil tried to come home earlier but Prakash was not in the office so, he has to handle everything that's why he could not make it to go home earlier whenever he winds up his work someone comes with work and he again resumes his work and like this, the darkness took over the daylight.

In the time of the night, Avneil's room shown which was decorated beautifully with red roses and candles. Avni burns the last candle and looks at the clock.

On the other side, Neil was stuck in his work. He was working on the laptop and did not realize the time.

In the Khanna mansion, Avni sets her saree, sits in front of the dressing table and gets ready, she wears the earrings, bangles, anklets and fills the sindoor in her hairline and wears the mangalsutra. Avni looks at herself in the mirror and blushes.

Avni: Neil, tonight I will wipe away all your fears. I promise.

Avni blushes. She saw the time and it's 7:30 pm.

Avni: where are you, Neil you said you will come home earlier today. Please come soon I want to say everything to you which you wanted to hear which I wanted to say for a long. I want to share my each and every emotion with you, please come fast I can't wait for any more.

She waits for Neil some times she sits on the bed, sometimes roam in the room. After one hour she heard the sound of a car horn and smiles she goes to the window and saw Neil but her smile faded to see Neil who was rubbing his forehead. Avni thinks.

On the other side, Neil entered the home and saw the lights are off, he stopped and looks around.

Neil: why all lights are off? Where is Avni?

Neil thinks.

Neil: maybe she was in the room.

Neil was about to go but the lights switch on and Neil was surprised to see the decorations, the living area was decorated beautifully with white and pink curtains and roses were scattered on the floor to welcome him. He was surprised to see that. He walks forward and calls Avni.

Neil: Avni, Avni?

Neil looks for her.

Neil: Avni, where are you?

Neil saw the table is decorated with roses and candles he picks petals and thinks he smiles.

Neil: Avni.

Neil hears the sound of anklets and turns his face and saw Avni is coming he was surprised to see Avni in Saree and was lost in the moment. Avni looks up at him and again downs her lashes. Avni comes to him. Neil smiles.

Neil: looking gorgeous, Wifey.

Avni blushes.

Neil: but what is all this, I mean why?

Avni: this all is for you. A surprise from a wife to her husband.

Neil smilies.

Neil: and why suddenly this?

Avni: nothing, just want to spend some time with you.

Neil looks at her.

Neil: don't lie, Avni you know that you can't lie with me so, tell me the reason.

Avni: I said, I wanted to give you a surprise. OK, now no more questions. I am going to arrange the table, you go, and change.

Neil nods.

Avni: And yes, your clothes are in the guest room.

Neil frowns.

Neil: why?

Avni: our room's washroom shower is not working that's why.

Neil: oh ok, I will call the plumber tomorrow.

Avni: ok, now go fast. I am very hungry.

Neil moves a step to her he cups her face and he can sense she is lying.

Neil: I am so sorry Wifey. I promised I will come back early but got one work after one and got late please forgive me.

Avni keeps the hand on his hand and smiles.

Avni: I can understand. I am not angry.

Neil smiles.

Avni: but yes If you do not go right now to get fresh then I will get angry.

Neil smiles.

Neil: ok, I am going.

Neil goes. Avni thinks.

Avneil were sitting at the dining table and Neil was looking at the dishes.

Neil: wow, all are my favourite dishes.

Avni smiles.

Neil: but what was the need to do all this?

Avni: you just keep quiet and have it. It was needed.

Neil smiles. Avni comes to him and serves him and Neil did not stop her he knows that it is giving her happiness so he let her do what she wanted.

Neil: thank you.

They smile to see each other.

Avneil were having dinner and Avni was looking at him from time to time and Neil catches her she instantly looks at her plate. Neil smiles and takes a bit.

Neil: what you want to say?

Avni looks at him. Neil looks up from his plate to her.

Avni: ab, aa, nothing. How was your day in the office?

Neil sighs.

Neil: hectic.

Avni: oh, are you tired?

Neil frowns.

Neil: no, I was tired but by seeing you my tiredness flies away but why are you asking this?

Avni shook her head.

Avni: nothing.

Neil keeps the hand on her hand.

Neil: Avni, you know that you can say anything to me.

Avni looks at him.

Avni: first, have dinner then we will talk.

Neil nods and said OK. He looks at her.

Then Avneil were sitting on the swing in the garden as Avni asked Neil to go there. Avni's head was on Neil's shoulder and their fingers were intervened they were enjoying the silence. Neil kissed her hand and Avni smiles. Then Neil remembered that Avni wanted to talk to him.

Neil: Avni, you wanted to say something.

Avni looks at him and sits. Neil looks at her.

Avni: ab, aa, aa, I, I planned something special for you. I mean for us but you are looking tired so we will talk about it some other day.

Neil: Why some other day we will talk today. I am fine, say.

Avni: no, it's ok you have rest.

Neil: I am fine and if you give my surprise then I will be more than fine.

Avni smiles.

Avni: then, meet me in the room in ten minutes.

Neil frowns. Avni gets up and Neil too. Neil was looking at Avni she cups his face.

Avni: just ten minutes then you will get to know everything.

Avni smiles and goes. Neil was looking at her he had an idea what she is up to but he wanted to confirm that. Neil smiles.

After 10 minutes, the door opened and Neil entered the room and shocked to see it.
