"Okay give that to me one more time, but simpler. Because I don't understand technology language." Poe asked Finn and Rose who had heard of the First Orders tracking through lightspeed. They were talking in mathematical terms which Amilyn did when it came to her fixing her X-wing herself. But everytime he wanted to do his part in the plan, all he could do was imagine Amilyn only of what she could be doing.

They were in what was going to be Amilyn's chambers when she returned, but they were using it as their meeting room. BB-8 was circling around the room, obviously bored and would've much rather been to where Amilyn and Rey were. Finn sighed knowing he had to walk the idea of the plan around him again. Poe wasn't really good with people speaking technically which when Amilyn did she explained simpler to him.

"The First Order is only tracking us through lightspeed from Snoke's ship. The lead one obviously." Finn explained.

"So we can blow it up?" Poe asked eagerly. Rose rolled her eyes after fighting the urge to the last few times. Pilots were all like that when it came to big ships and bases form the enemy. There was always something to blow up. But Poe wasn't like other Flyboys as Holdo had closed him...Poe was much more wiser and not wanting to be a hero for the wrong reasons.

Poe to Rose she had always seen him with the generals niece, Amilyn Skywalker. She had heard people tease them about dating, but she didn't believe that. She and never seen them kiss or even show any affection.....well they did hold hands quite a bit. Was that clue? Who knows!

"I like where your heads at but no, they would just start tracking us from another destroyer." Finn began.

"But..." Rose said making Finn continue. She had just put in the holographic projector to show the Mega-Destrotyer fully. Poe began studying it at every inch of possible things that could happen here and there.

"But if we sneak on board that lead Destroyer and disable the tracker without getting caught....They won't realize it's off for one systems cycle." Finn spoke only to be cut in by Rose.

"For six minutes." Rose concluded for them. "It buys the Resistance fleet a quick window to jump to hyperspace untracked!"

"And escape!" C-3PO piped up. "Brilliant Miss. Tico and Finn.!"

"Sneak on board. Turn off the tracker. Our fleet escapes before they realize." Fin ticked off the elements of their plan on his fingers. Poe gave a moment of consideration with caution like Leia did. Maybe Leia's ways really had worn on him. But BB-8 beeped excitedly at this plan reassuring Poe.

"You don't get a vote. What do you think?" Poe told BB-8 before turning to Rose.

"Somehow the fact was my idea. And I I got lost within telling it. But if he gets us to the tracker, I can shut it down. I think it should work.....50/50." She said to Poe who considered realizing the question.

"How did you two meet?" Poe asked, curious.

Finn's face lit up with panic that was quite entertaining. "Just luck," Rose told Poe obviously seeing that Fin  didn't want to disappoint his friend.

"Good luck?"

"Not sure yet." Poe chewed it over biting his lip. He had to make a decision sooner or later before the stared making ways to persuade him. "Come on, Poe. This will help save the fleet. And Rey. And Amilyn."

Poe froze as Finn mentioned the name. Rose raised her eyebrow realizing something was different about Poe since Amilyn had left. She had seen him black out of reality many times and not knowing what was happening. It was obvious now....Poe was in love with Amilyn and he didn't know it. "Come on, Poe. This our one shot at saving Amilyn."

"Don't you use her name as way of an excuse or reason for me not to think this over." Poe warned Finn who looked shocked by his reaction. Obvious Rose thought to herself. 

"Vice Admiral Holdo is onto us. And will never approve the pan since she doesn't know Admiral Ackbars part of it. In fact, it's exactly the sort of brash heroics that would infuriate her." Poe smiled a little at C-3PO's comment.

"You're right, Threepio. This plan is a need to do whether Holdo is onto to us all. And she doesn't have to know, only Ackbar does."

"I did t mean..." C-3PO spoke meaning the opposite.

"You two are going on this mission. Tell Ackbar every bit of information you've been able to conclude with your research. And with Finns brains from being in the First Order. Stela ckearnece codes, steal a FirstOrder Shuttle, and make sure the tracker is shut down."

"Almost nobody could get through the clearance codes. Nobody can. Our only codebreaker was..."

"Amilyn. I know! I know!" Poe said not wanting Finn to use her name again. Rose looked at Poe strangely as he began to speak again. "We got a transmission from Maz Kanata not to long ago finding a codebreaker with a red plom blom flower pin. He's on Cantobight I want you to stop there to find him."

"Poe! I've never seen you like this. I thought you were coming with us!" Finn exclaimed at Poe.

"Well! I don't want to! Because I'd rather stay here and make sure Leia recovers, get Holdo off everybody's nerves, and to stay in contact with the others." Poe explained to Finn who obviously wasn't understanding Poe's position.

"Why though? Is it just for You? You want something more."

"No! It's because I can't bare the look on Amilyn's face if I go away and Leia dies. I've seen her already broken before since the temple burned down. Since Han Solo died, Leia thought I would become like Han but she realized I wasn't. And because I love Amilyn!" Poe took back the last bit with his face turning light red when the last part came out.

Finn looked at Poe now realizing Poe just wanted Amilyn to be truly okay. They were best friends and Fin saw everything they did together through Amilyn's stories. How everybody was teasing them that they were dating......but realizing now that Poe was in love with Amilyn hurt Finn deeply. Poe looked away from the both. "Sorry for that outburst."

"You do love her don't you?" Rose asked smiling a little, "Because if you do I understand. You know her family and want her to safe. You want her to be okay which you make that easy for her when your around her.....I've seen you two together talking, being friends for so long, that I respect your decision."

"What?" Poe asked Rose.

"You can stay. You can try to contact her, but sooner or later you're going to have to tell her your feelings. Finn and I will go to CantoBight while you make sure Leia's recovering and contacting Amilyn. You care and that's why Leia would've loved if you know if you and Amilyn kissed. I remember her snarky little comments." Poe chuckles a little making everything seem fine.

"Alright. You two are dismissed and BB-8 you can go with them." Poe dismissed them with BB-8 beeping happily behind.

(Time Skip)

"Commander Dameron." Ackbar asked Poe. "Are you ready to start trying to get in reach of contact of Amilyn?"

"She's my best friend. And she's Leia's niece. She needs to know the truth and to get Luke here faster than this pace." Poe told Ackbar as Syline punched in Amilyn's coordinates  trying to send a signal to the Falcon.
