A/n this fanfic will contain spoilers for both shows Supernatural and Lucifer. Along with non-canon elements, original characters based on myself and my best friend paranormalnovelist, dark themes, angst, abandonment, and manipulation. But I do still hope you all enjoy the story I've come up, however I will see that this fanfic has a few rules. There will be no crossover couples in these fanfic, and if you're a fan of them, please share your opinions somewhere else. I don't want to see my comments blow up with hate and other stuff. I also will not have much romance in this fanfic apart from Lucifer and Chloe. Any scenes revolving Ruby or Anna will either be a flashback, or a dream one of the brothers experience. My most important rule is that I'm a Christian, so please don't say I'm disrespecting the religion I hold so dear to my heart.My last rule is please ask questions if you don't understand something, and I'll try my best to explain it. Lucifer was ready to tell Chloe how he felt, after much convincing from Maze, his brother and Linda. Along with sitting in Lux drinking alcohol until he was beginning to feel the effects, he decided to finally do it. Even the strippers dancing for him was starting to make him feel like he was just avoiding her. It wasn't her fault that his father had caused her to end up in his path, she didn't get a say in what God did. Just like he didn't get the say of how Chloe felt about him, she either would reject him or she wouldn't.
"You look like you've gone five rounds with ten women." Maze commented pouring him another drink.
"I already did that this morning," he answered. "But these ladies will have to wait, I'm going to see the Detective."

The demon smiled and hoped that her roommate would finally just admit how she felt about Lucifer. Even if Lucifer was no better about his feelings, and it made her want to throw daggers at the wall. She might if this didn't go down well, it had been too long since she had tortured someone.
"I guess I'll be looking after her offspring then?" She asked.
"Yes just make the small human doesn't drink or break anything," Lucifer answered. "I do have a reputation to uphold." Maze smiled and waved at him showing that she was telling him to just leave while she handled things. The former King of Hell left his bar and got into his car to drive off to Chloe's place. But when he arrived he saw something through the window that broke his heart.

Chloe was sitting on her couch with Pierce aka Cain, the two looked all lovely dovey and if the scene couldn't get worse he proposed to her. Lucifer felt his heart sink when he saw her eyes widen at his question, he wanted some badly to burst in there and grab Cain. He knew the whole reason he was doing all this, because he wanted Chloe to free him of his curse. After Cain killed his brother Abel for being God's favorite, the Almighty cursed him to live forever as a demonic creature. Even among the souls in Hell, Cain was seen as an enemy to all since anyone who tried to kill him would endure terrible punishment.
"Detective!" Lucifer managed to scream out before Cain noticed him standing at the window. She was confused by his arrival and wanted to ask what he was doing, but before she could leave Cain stopped her.

"I'll handle him Decker, you sit tight," Cain said putting his hand on her shoulder. He gave her a smile before giving Lucifer a gaze and leaving her apartment. Wanting to settle things with the sinner man, Lucifer made sure to get out of Chloe's eyesight so he wouldn't be vulnerable. He couldn't kill Cain but he could at least send him to Hell, he was a demon and its where he deserved to go. However when Cain appeared behind him after stumbling across a closed sinkhole, Lucifer was shocked when he saw Cain hold something strange in his hands. It looked like sword made from an animal's jaw and Lucifer didn't recognize it. "You shouldn't have been nosy Lucifer, I'm trying to become mortal."
"I won't let you," Lucifer responded his eyes glowing red. "I know your kind Cain, and I know exactly where they go, no stay away from her!" He demanded.

Cain laughed much to Lucifer's shock as no one had ever laughed in his presence while knowing who he really was.
"Is that your idea of a threat?" He asked. "Please I've seen human children make better ones, in fact I've decided that since you think you can stop me," he continued. "I'm making sure you stay out of my way, you see this I got while traveling the world, said to be very powerful," he kept going. "Shall we see what it does to you?" Before Lucifer could answer and retailte by attacking Cain back he was stabbed in the chest. Cain expected the devil to bleed out but he just dropped to the floor and vanished along with the blade. "What?!" Cain exclaimed in frustration. "At least he's out of the way for now."

Cain walked back to Chloe who came out running in search of her partner.
"Lucifer?!" She called out and even tried calling him on her cellphone but she got no answer. "Come on where are you?" When she saw Cain she immediately asked about Lucifer but Cain said that he had vanished. "He can't of just left, even when he does that he always comes back."
"I'm sorry Decker, I saw it with my own eyes, He's gone." Cain responded.
"Then I have to find him." Chloe answered.

"Savannah I told you this is a bad idea!" Freya exclaimed. "You can't just use your powers to look for someone who knows how to find Cain." Savannah didn't answer her best friend right away because she was determined to not give up. The mark was changing Dean and she wasn't going to watch him become a knight of Hell again. It was like her worst nightmare watching the man who took her in chase her down without a second thought.
"But Freya this could be our only chance to save Dean," Savannah answered. "And you heard Sam, we have to get the mark off him no matter the cost."
"Okay I'm with you," Freya answered. "I don't think I can handle Sam not taking care of himself anymore, I don't want to lose either of them."
