Griffin: We're here again today, interviewing John and Eilene, so let's get started.

John: *mutters sarcastically* Exciting.

Griffin: First question. John, how did it feel to be infected?

John and Eilene: *shudders*

John: It's like the worst feeling ever. Not being able to control your own body. It took most of my strength just to fight for control.

Griffin: That must be terrible.

John: It's worst than terrible!

Griffin: Next question. Eilene, if your father wasn't with the Conquerors but they went to you and threatened you. Would you betray the Keepers?

Eilene: Simple answer. No. I didn't want to but I had to save my father.

Griffin: A father that's never been there for you your entire life.

Eilene: A father who actually had a reason to do so. He was trying to decipher that book.

Griffin: Okay, sheesh. Why did you give your Spirit Animal these names?

John: I like the name Rusty. I don't know why. I just do.

Eilene: Seriously? That's your reason?

John: Why? Is their a problem?

Eilene: I named Ursa after the constellation Ursa Major. It means Great Bear.

Griffin: Okay so, what do you guys think of the other Ten Keepers, starting with Ivan?

John: He's cool. I understand that pain he's going through, getting infected and all...

Eilene: At least he's fine now. He kinda tried to comfort me that one time when we were heading to Nilo.

Griffin: What do you think about Jef?

John: Fun and energetic.

Eilene: Reckless yet he's good.

Griffin: *mumbles* Short answers. What about Zoey?

Eilene: Oh, she's a great person. Friendly and kind and I guess you could say she's a great friend...

John: You sound uncertain.

Eilene: Why don't you just answer the question?

John: She's kind and has a bit of his brother's personality, only kinder and less annoying.

Griffin: Okay, so what do you guys think of Riley?

Eilene: *shuffles uncomfortably*

John: She's a really great friend. *glances at Eilene quickly* I may have had a bit of a crush on her before...but we ended up staying friends.

Eilene: Uh, she's kind and quiet. I wouldn't exactly call us friends. We do talk but we're not exactly close.

Griffin: What about Irene?

Eilene: She's a great friend too. Not boring and easy to talk to.

John: Yeah, she's friendly and I like hearing her stories about the bamboo maze.

Griffin: So we have George. What do you guys think of him?

John: Best and only brother I could have. That should explain everything.

Eilene: First friend who made me feel welcomed *shoots a pointed look at John*

John: *acts innocent* What?

Griffin: Okay, what do you guys think about Hope?

Eilene: She's a good friend. She's kind and caring and I...appreciate her for still caring when I didn't deserve it.

John: Yeah, she's a good friend with a kind heart. She doesn't have a temper. *glances at Eilene who glares back*

Griffin: And last but not least, Zoron?

John: One of my closest friends. I can trust him and I love teasing him and Hope.

Eilene: I admire his ship-riding skills though he needs improvement. He still hasn't thanked me for my brilliant idea of him driving the ship.

Griffin: Okay then. Moving on, what do you guys think about the Four Heroes of Erdas?

John: Abeke's archery skills is just like wow. Anything she aims at, it almost always hits the target.

Eilene: I have to agree. Her skills are just incredible. Haven't talked to her much but she seems nice.

John: Being from Eura, of course we all respected Conor but with all the things that had happened after the war, I didn't really think much about the outside world...

John: Anyways, we both got infected and we've talked at times. He's a really nice guy, better than the one who had been controlling me when I was infected.

Eilene: I'm from Eura as well and I have heard the stories. Though I never really had time to dwell on that. I heard that he's friendly.

John: Now Meilin is-

Griffin: Scary?

John: Aren't we all scary in our own way? Meilin's just got mad skills. I mean, she can use the staff, her sword, her hands, a blindfold-

Eilene: A blindfold?

John: There was a story about how Meilin fought an adult Greencloak with just a blindfold.

Eilene: Well, I do admire her fighting skills but given the time we had together underground, I say she can be annoying.

Eilene: I mean, every time I suggest something, she always questions me and my loyalty, thinking it's another 'trap' of mines to betray you all. It gets really annoying but i'm just glad she's on our side.

John: I've talked to Rollan a couple of times and he's really fun to be with. He cracks up the best jokes!

Eilene: All I could really say is, I ship Reilin.

Griffin: Wow. I never knew you shipped people.

Eilene: There's many things you don't know which is surprising since you're the "Author."

Griffin: Okay, last and most anticipated question *coughs* by me *coughs* what do you think about the other? And do you like each other?

John: Does that count as a rhyme or just a repeated word?

Eilene: I think it's both.

Griffin: Stop getting off topic and dodging the question.

Eilene: You do know that there are two questions, not one.

Griffin: You know what I mean.

John: What do I think about Eilene? Annoying-

Eilene: You mean you're annoying.

John: You can get annoying when you annoy me back when i'm trying to annoy you.

Griffin: ...Wut?

John: Anyways, she has a temper, she prefers a staff instead of a sword, and she still calls me by that annoying nickname.

Eilene: A nickname which you greatly missed, oh son of lord Gaundor.

John: But other than that, we've basically fought together throughout our adventures as well as fight each other. And if we were going to be having more, i'd like to keep things the same with her fighting by my side.

Griffin: Is John being sweet?

Eilene: I appreciate it but honestly, don't do that. It doesn't suit you.

John: Your welcome.

Eilene: Anyways, as much as you annoyed me to pieces, I...regretted betraying you guys...especially since the 'thing' that happened the night before. If you know what I mean.

John: Oh...

Eilene: You almost changed my mind but I went the hard way. Though I may not show it and that this seems fake since I betrayed you guys, I...do care. Just don't get infected again.

John: You have my word.

Griffin: *clears throat* So you haven't answered the second question... but since you guys don't seem like friends...are you guys dating as well?

John and Eilene: *exchanges a mischievous glance*

John: Oh I don't know, are we?

Eilene: What do you think, Griff?

Griffin: Y- I mean- i'm the interviewer here so answer my question.

John: Demanding are we.

Eilene: So what was the question again?

Griffin: You guys don't seem like friends so are you guys dating just like Zoron and Hope?

John: Eh, how Zoron sets up his dates, they're too...romantic,filled with mushy words-

Eilene: Romantic lights, a table-

John: Goggly eyes, moony looks-

Eilene: To sum it all up. Too cheesy and romantic.

John: Exactly.

Griffin: So what you guys are saying is that you don't date like Hope and Zoron-

John: Correct

Griffin: But you still date in your John and Eilene way.

Eilene: Yes and no.

Griffin: Wut?

John: *sighs* Let me explain things here. The war with the Wyrm just finished a week ago, we're all tired, does it seem like the perfect time for this?

Eilene: That is exactly what I said. Use your own words.

Griffin: So you're starting slow and easy.

John: Says who?

Griffin: Um, you?

John: Don't remember saying that.

Griffin: Then what do you mean?

John: I just said that it's just not the perfect time.

Eilene: You mean I said that.

Griffin: So you guys aren't dating?

Eilene: No and yes.

Griffin: *groans in annoyance* This is confusing!

John: There you go! That's the John and Eilene way.

Eilene: Yep, and it continues out the door. *begins to stand up.*

John: Bye! *follows her out the room.

Griffin: ...I hate interviewing...

Some of y'all probably waited for this one. Just so you know, I didn't change anything and kept it the same as I have written this three years ago 😂

(I'm also too scared to actually go read what I've written three years ago so-)

Anyway, look out for that "closure" book!
