"Are you actually going to do what King Endeavor says?" Kirishima finally breaks the silence after they left the council meeting and were now on their way back to their Kingdom.

Katsuki's scowl deepened and he curled his lip back in a snarl. "Hell yeah! Fuck the stupid, wretched Endeavor shithead! He doesn't deserve to lead his Kingdom no matter how good he is at battle!"

Kirishima says nothing to show he agreed nor disagreed with his young King, he just watches the blond closely. Katsuki's visible anger seemed to simmer down and he was now a little more composed, but his voice was dangerously low.

"I'll find a mate to become my Queen, even if it's the last thing I do. My parents' legacy will not be tarnished by someone as selfish as that Todoroki idiot," Katsuki growls out now, his eyes focused on glaring at the outside world. If his eyes could set things on fire, the entire world would be hell at this point.

"Do you want me to rally all the Alphas and Betas in the Kingdom?" the red haired Alpha offered his King in an attempt to ease the pressure or at least some of it off of him.

"Yes. It's the best way to find a mate as soon as possible before that pyromaniac loses his pants," the blond now proceeds to drag his hand across his face, calming down left him with a headache and feeling fatigued. He lets out a sigh before turning to Kirishima.

"I appreciate you being here and helping me, Eijiro."

Kirishima's smile made its way back into his face and while showing off his pointed teeth through his large smile, he chuckles in amusement. "Just say 'thank you' already!"

The both of them knew they wouldn't be the same people if they hadn't met one another, and if they didn't help each other. To Katsuki, Kirishima was more than just the Lead Commander of his best knights, with the red haired male himself being the best other than Katsuki of course, but he was a best friend, a brother. He truly appreciated Kirishima and what he offered him, and even if he didn't offer anything, he would still be grateful for his friendship.

To Kirishima, Katsuki was also like a brother, the fellow Alpha having helped him long ago when he was only twelve after his parents abandoned him in this Kingdom, never to be seen again. The Bakugo's took him in and provided with such a life he never thought he'd ever live to witness, so he decided to repay them by training as a knight and rising among the ranks quickly. Just three years after being taken in, he had already been one of the best knights in the academy.

And now, here he was, the Lead Commander of the knights, Katsuki's right-hand man, and the one who would be guarding the young King from now on whenever he wasn't needed by the lesser knight generals. He vowed to protect the blond Alpha with his life, ready to quickly toss his own life away to protect Katsuki, especially after the mysterious and sudden deaths of his parents.

"Just know this one thing, Katsuki," said blond focuses on Kirishima to hear what he'd say next. "If there's a chance that you don't find a suitable mate to take on, and we're to face King Endeavor and his forces, know that I'll be there to fight alongside you. If you die, I will die with you. Until the day that I take my last breath, I will remain at your side to ensure that you will never be lonely again."

Hearing this made Katsuki genuinely smile, he really was grateful to have Kirishima at his side, and though he doesn't want him to throw away his life so easily and so quickly if things were to go bad for himself, he knew that the red haired Alpha was nearly as stubborn as he was, so there was no point in trying to argue. He chuckles and gives Kirishima a playful but still hard punch to his shoulder, knowing it didn't affect his Lead Commander.

"I ain't gonna die so easily, Eijiro. If that does happen and that Todoroki bastard comes after my Kingdom, I will kill all that stand with him and stand in the way of protecting my people. I won't lose to that tyrant, not now, not later, and not in any other world," Katsuki replies as Kirishima smiles back and returns his own amused chuckles, listening to his King sound so stress-free made him feel a little more at ease.

"Besides, I—"

Katsuki is interrupted when the carriage comes to a halt and himself and Kirishima are nearly thrown forward. His usual scowl returns to his face but before he is able to start hollering, the knight steering the two horses up appears after opening the door to the carriage holding the King and the Commander.

"My apologies, but one of the horses badly injured her leg and it'll be a while before the knights within the castle are able to bring out another horse," the young knight explained with nervousness clear in his tone, he was speaking about a delay to his very King who could easily have him beheaded after all. However, Katsuki seemed to understand and knew that it couldn't be helped, so he just sighed and waved his hand in dismissal.

"Luckily, there's a small village up ahead. We could rest there for now until the replacement horse is brought," the knight continues after relaxing a bit from Katsuki's dismissive manner.

Katsuki nods and exits the carriage, Kirishima following after.

"Oh! You should take the second horse so you could get to the village sooner, my King! I'll—"

The young King shakes his head.

"That's not needed. It'll be better if we just all walk there. It's only a few paces ahead, we can see it from here. For now, we should leave the carriage and just bring the horses. It'll be easier," Katsuki explains neutrally, glancing to the two horses, easily seeing the one with her front right leg lifted off the ground almost awkwardly.

The young knight nods immediately and begins to undo the reigns and such off the two horses. Meanwhile, Kirishima turned to Katsuki with a surprised look on his face.

"That was surprisingly nice and you were oddly calm about a delay like that," Kirishima said in a low voice just so the knight didn't overhear them.

Katsuki turns away from the knight and horses, looking to the small village ahead of the path. "He's a kid. I understand discipline and all that shit, but if things don't turn out right in the end for this stupid deal, I wouldn't want the younger people's memories to be full of nothing but fear and dread, especially from within their own Kingdom."

"That's not the kind of King I want to be, not another similar reflection of that bastard Endeavor. And I believe in good karma. I know that one day, whether I live to see it or not, he will be punished for all the bloodshed and torment he's caused to not only other Kingdoms, but even to his own people, and his own family."

Kirishima doesn't interrupt the blond Alpha, listening to him and feeling proud that the King, though really young for such a demanding position, still wants what's best for his people even through the threat of death from the Todoroki Kingdom. That though their time was possibly limited, he would rather make sure his people felt as most happy and comfortable as possible with this predicament, than panic and try to save only himself as most royals would. He truly felt honored to serve under Katsuki even if it may be shortened now.

"Izuku, please don't—"

"No! I'm sick and tired of these people thinking they can hurt and steal from us just because our Kingdom is gone, Tokoyami! If this is how the Bakugo Kingdom acts when they all know only a small handful of us were able to barely escape, then to hell with them! I'm not standing to the side while our friends are getting hurt!" snarled the green haired male to the slightly smaller Alpha who had the head of a blackbird. A deep frown of concern, despair, and grieving shown on Tokoyami's face, all of that dragging the young, former Prince down despite being an Alpha.

Tokoyami could say nothing more as his friend, Izuku, whipped his blazing glare to the two Alphas staring down at them, the Alpha Prince having been shoved to the ground when Izuku stepped in between.

A crowd of the villagers had gathered around them, watching the commotion with mixed opinions and emotions, and that infuriated Izuku the most.

Their Kingdom, Tokoyami's Kingdom, had just been ambushed and completely burned down to the ground by King Endeavor. Many had been killed, including Tokoyami's parents, a great number of their close friends, and even Izuku's own adoptive father who raised him after his mother passed away after giving birth to him. He's never known his true father, only his name, but according to his adoptive father, that man was not a nice person and if they were to ever cross paths, never to trust him.

It's been less than a week since they arrived here at this village, and since then, they've been getting bullied and some beaten up and threatened. He can't believe that what they went through can't even grant them somewhere safe to recover in a Kingdom that had always promised it.

Izuku focuses himself, steels himself, and faces the two, much larger Alphas, standing between them and Tokoyami. He's had enough of this, and he couldn't care less about his status or secondary gender, he's learned to control it at this point. After all, he never wanted to be a burden on someone else, especially his adoptive father who had been most likely murdered by the invading Todoroki Kingdom. With his help, he had trained hard to be able to defend himself and others.

"Aww, what's the little Omega gonna do about it, huh?" one of the Alphas teased while the other snorted and smirked.

"I've never seen an Alpha need a little Omega's help before. Maybe you're not actually an Alpha, you're probably a Beta since you lack anything Alpha!" the other mocked before laughing, both of them clearly taunting the green haired Omega.

Izuku growled loudly before he inhaled and composed himself, knowing a fight was quickly brewing, and honestly, ever since their Kingdom had been destroyed and he'd been powerless to do much, he feels the need for a fight. So, he smirks back at them and walks to the side so Tokoyami wasn't in the way if one of them pounced.

"For Alphas talking so much smack, I kinda thought you'd start fighting already. Maybe you're both just scared and weak! I mean, I don't mind a fight, I'll be able to swing at your heads and relieve some pent up emotions, after all," Izuku fired back, knowing full well that he was challenging them and that as dumb as they were, they would fight immediately. And he was right.

Their smirks both disappeared and loud growls erupted from the two Alphas before they suddenly lunge forward.

Izuku really did want some stress relief so he decided to put some anger and effort into this skirmish. He sidestepped the two Alphas who turn to him and try to attack once again. The freckled male simply dodges to the side again but this time, he grabs one of the Alphas by the wrist and using their own power against them, he spins, swinging the Alpha he held and easily tossing the larger man into the other.

The two collide and fall to the ground, scrambling to get to their feet to attack once more. However, Izuku was much faster and before they realized it, he lifted his foot and slammed it into one of the Alpha's sides to knock him off the other, and returning to the other still before him, he forced his foot downwards right onto his hand, grabbing the Alpha's other wrist just as he tried to grab the Omega.

Izuku crouches down, putting all his weight onto the Alpha's hand while a smile came across his face, his vice-like grip tightening around the other wrist that made said Alpha whine and wince in pain.

"Want to repeat what you said about me and my friend?" he dared the Alpha to respond with a smart answer, grinding his foot down harder against the Alpha's hand, hearing a crack from beneath his foot.

However, Izuku doesn't give the first Alpha a chance to respond as his other hand grabbed a fistful of hair and slammed his face into the earth, effectively knocking the Alpha out.

"I didn't think so," he stands just as the second one comes charging at him once more, this time his fist was clenched and he seemed to be readying a punch. Too bad he was way too damn slow and Izuku easily maneuvers around him then shoves him into the path of his knocked out partner, causing the second Alpha to trip but remain on his feet. Izuku was slightly surprised that something this clunky-moving was actually able to remain standing after being unbalanced.

"Hey! What's going on here?!"

Izuku turned to look at whoever spoke but he couldn't find them in time before he had to whirl back to his opponent. He would have to look when he dealt with the threat.

The Alpha growls in frustration and once again charges at the green haired male, preparing to grab him instead. Izuku looked unimpressed and decided to speed this up, knowing that the charging Alpha will never be able to touch him, let alone land a blow or grab him.

Just as the Alpha was about to grab him, Izuku swiftly ducked and burst forward with a hand clenched into a fist, landing a punch to the Alpha's stomach enough to send him off of his feet and back the way he had came. Said other writhed on the ground while clutching his stomach in pain, Izuku simply glowered down at him.

However, he snaps his gaze to his left when he sees a blond Alpha coming towards him. Perceiving him as backup and also a threat, Izuku shoots immediately towards the larger male and aimed to throw another deadly right hook into this Alpha's side when the other surprised him by deflecting his swinging fist.

Izuku quickly moved past it and threw his left hand at the blond Alpha now, and like he figured, the blond deflected his fist again but the greenette had another plan. Using the momentum of his punch missing, Izuku spins and drops his body lower at the same time, sticking his leg out and successfully sweeping the Alpha off of his feet and flat on his ass.

"What the—?!" the blond male looked utterly surprised and it gave Izuku satisfaction.

He tries to continue when he barely notices another Alpha, red haired this time, barreling towards him. Izuku stops his attack and immediately backpedals quickly, getting out of the other Alpha's reach just in time.

The red haired Alpha stands in front of the blond one, clearly having a weapon but not drawing it, but that doesn't stop Izuku.

"I command you to stop this—" the red haired Alpha shouts but he doesn't get to finish as Izuku goes on the offensive and charges at them. The red haired male steadies himself for a fight and looks like he's ready to engage when the Omega surprises him by easily grabbing and tossing the unconscious body of the first Alpha he defeated right at the red haired one, all while running at them.

The red haired male grunts in surprise when the unconscious body is flung towards him, and it hits him hard enough to not only drag him down to fall but also throw him some few feet away. He struggles to get free from the limp body seemingly tangled with his own limbs.

"Ei—" the blond Alpha turns and tries to help his friend when he's forced to the earth and a weight lands on his back, keeping him still.

Izuku has pinned the blond male and he grabs his left wrist, wretches it backwards and upwards in a harsh pin while his foot ground into the Alpha's right wrist against the dirt. He has the high ground, the first two Alphas are down, the third is currently struggling, and he's pinned the fourth.

"Stop, Izuku!" the freckled male ignored Tokoyami calling out to him.

"Now, apologize to me and my friend or else your left arm becomes useless," Izuku demands with a harsh and clear threat, not looking like he was joking as he pulls back a little more on the blond Alpha's arm he held.

"Calm the fuck down! We aren't with those two other Alphas! We don't know what the fuck you're talking about!" the blond snarled after wincing slightly in pain when the greenette pulled back on his arm. His face was pressed into the dirt but he didn't dare resist, not when the Omega pining him was dead serious about breaking his arm.

"What?" Izuku looked confused now and as the adrenaline started to simmer down, he finally seems to hear Tokoyami clearer.

"Izuku! They're not with the first two! That's King Bakugo and Commander Kirishima!"

Izuku immediately felt all the adrenaline being sapped out of him in one moment full of realization, shock, confusion, and utter dread.

"Shit."

A/N: I hope I can keep up with the hype and expectations of what the first chapter was! I also didn't mean for this chapter to be this long, I guess I got carried away, and I didn't want to break it in between or else it'd feel weird, lol! Ah, I hope you all enjoy it though! As you can tell if you've read my other stories and threads but I really love a Deku who can very well defend himself, and though I'll go into more details about that in the future, I really feel like he would train himself to fight regardless. It feels like he would according to his nature in canon, at least to me. Thank you for reading! Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!
