This is extremely short bc I wrote in at 4:30am bc a friend gave me Diego feels (I don't even like Cassian wtf)

"You like Cassian!" Jyn said excitedly "you have to tell him! I ship you two so hard it just needs to happen"

"I can't tell him! His whole life is the Rebellion, it would only make it worse for me" I argued, I turned to K-2SO, who was sitting on the pilot's seat "don't say a word about this to anyone, especially Cassian" I said right before Cassian and Bodhi walked inside the ship

"Cassian, Y/N doesn't want you to know that she likes you" K2 said, Cassian looked at me slightly confused as I threw my blaster at the droid

"What?" He asked, I looked at Jyn but I knew she wouldn't help so I just sighed and walked out to the base "Y/N!" He called, I tried to ignore him, but something inside me told me to stop and turn to look at him

"What is it?" I tried to sound casual but I felt like it didn't really work

"Was it true?" He questioned when he was inches away from me "was K telling the truth?" I began to panic, we'd been friends since we were 7, I didn't want anything to change, I nodded, not being able to speak, having him that close wasn't exactly a good thing when I was trying to hide my feelings, he smiled and hugged me "our relationship can only change for the better Y/N, I have always loved you, for as long as I can remember, I've had some kind of infatuation with you" he said before kissing me softly

Maybe a small change wouldn't be so bad after all
