Another day being Luke Skywalker's Padawan, he was probably the best Jedi Master to exist, I never understood how it was possible to be so nice and caring when your father was the infamous Darth Vader, but he was, not everyone loved him though.

He did at the beginning, he was thrilled whenever we learnt something, but he had changed, he wasn't excited to learn from Luke, he skipped classes, he didn't pay much attention to Luke's teachings but something had changed inside him. Something about Ben had changed, and I wasn't sure I liked it

He asked intimidatingly, I didn't know what to do, if I told him, he would kill him, if I didn't he'd kill us both "you know I'll get what I want" I glared at him, I missed the old Ben, the one I used to like, but he was gone, destroyed by the Dark side, the guy who stood before me- Kylo Ren - had absolutely nothing to do with him "you'll end up like the rest of them" he threatened, gesturing to all the dead bodies laying on the floor, the bodies of Luke's Padawan learners

"I'm not telling you anything, you're a monster" I said with gritted teeth

The boy standing in front of me smirked "maybe, but you're alone this time, your saviour isn't here for once, it's just you and me"

I ignited my lightsaber and he did the same, still blue. The light of both sabers lit up the night

I had gone to the. Starkiller Base to end this, it had been too long and no one knew anything about Master Luke, and it was all Ben or Kylo's- whoever that was - fault, he could've been the best Jedi ever known, but nooo, he had to turn to the Dark Side and destroy everything... me included

I was looking for him when I heard a familiar voice "Ben!" He called, he didn't sound as pissed as I would've, he sounded mandatory, if I were Ben, I would run.

I went to where they were, they both stood there, talking, Han trying to get his son back and Ben fighting the pull to the light "what do you think you'll see if I do?" Kylo said, the mask changed his voice, but it was still him, and I really wished he listened to the light inside him

"The face of my son" Han responded, I stayed there, looking, I knew Kylo could see me, and I didn't care, he took off the mask and Han took another step forward

"Your son is gone, he was weak and foolish like his father, so I destroyed him" weak and foolish? Han Solo was weak and foolish? Bitch when? I looked up and saw Chewie, also paying attention to what was going on, I went back to the two talking and what Ben said almost got to me... almost "I'm being torn apart, I want to be free of this pain... Something was off. It was too easy. Wait- at that moment Kylo's lightsaber ignited, going through Han's chest "NO!" I screamed, I heard him say something before pushing Han's body to the nothingness, I took my blaster and shot him in the side and everything started blowing up, Kylo glared at me and I ran out of the base

I ran into the snow and to the Falcon, which had to be close, I saw a red light in front of me and stopped in my tracks "we're not done yet, Han Solo can't save you now" I took the lightsaber Han had given me a few years before and ignited it "that lightsaber belongs to me" he said

"Come get it" I said, we went to each other and our sabers clashed and after a few more times he disarmed me, the lightsaber flew to a small snow mountain, he used the Force to push me against a tree and I let out a scream

He tried getting the lightsaber through the Force and so did I, he was much more powerful than I was, but somehow the saber flew past him and to my hand, "TRAITOR" I ignited it and we started battling again, we cut off trees... a lot of them until he pressed me against one, everything started trembling and the floor started breaking "I can show you the ways of the Force!" He said, the last time I heard him say that was when we were children, we were playing around and Luke was talking to Han and Leia, he pretended he was a Sith and I was a untrained Jedi "I can teach you!" I looked at him in the eye, he knew, he knew what was going through my mind, all those memories of us, I missed that, I was indeed scared of hurting him, I had loved him for too long to hurt him now, no matter what he had done

"Please" I begged, hoping he'd get the message, I needed him back, I needed Ben back, not this Kylo guy, the one who had just killed his own father

I still couldn't believe that my hero, Han Solo, was dead, I felt a wave of sadness hit me, Kylo smirked "you know, we could've had something if you had listened to me all those years ago" he retracted his saber and turned to leave

It took all my courage to say those words "I loved you"

He turned to me "I know, I did too... more than you can imagine" he looked sad and almost regretful, he walked to me and kissed me- kissed me? What?
