It all happened so fast.
He was just...Gone.
Me and Sabine went to pick up Hera and Kanan, not expecting this to be the last time with our little family feeling whole. When the fuel tanks began to explode Kanan went into action. He saved us, saved me. But it costed him his own life. Know here I sit in my room sobbing, knees curled to my chest, and arms wrapped around myself. I feel so... Lost. I know I have Hera and the others but they're not Kanan. He was the one who never left my side, wiped my tears from my eyes, and looked upon me with pride. He was my guide, my best friend, my dad. It's the end of the story... My story at least. What the others didn't know was that I stole the pain killers from the bathroom cabinet. Time to be free. I poured a handful and grabbed a glass of water. One pill, two pills, three pills, and from then on I never stopped. Soon enough sleep felt unstoppable to even fight, not like I wanted to anyways though. I laid down on the cabin floor and closed my eyes. "I'm coming home Kanan, I love you."
Here I am, dying by my own hands. And even though this seems sad, it wasn't.

I felt myself fall into a warm familar embrace and left the universe with a smile. "I love you too."

Also... That season ending! What the crap Dave? Anyone else agree with me?!? I really did love it though. Even though it wasn't the ending we wanted, it probably was the one we needed.😭
