There are not many stories about Sabine and Kanan on wattpad so I thought hey why not...
This takes place after "Protector of Concord Dawn"

Even though the medical droid said Hera would be fine, Sabine couldn't help but be worried for her mother-figures well being.
Right after Hera had fallen back asleep, Sabine hurried out of the room, hoping to avoid Kanan as tears formed in her eyes. She hated seeing such a great woman suffer this way. She didn't deserve it.
"What's the hurry?" Sabine heard a familiar voice ask. It was Kanan, Sabine cursed in Mandelorian.
"Nothing,I'm fine" She replied, not turning to face him, and still hiding tears.
Kanan could sense that she was not ok in the force. He understood why, Hera means a lot to them both. Kanan grabbed Sabine arm and dragged her too the cockpit.
Sabine didn't even try to stop him, because she knew that Kanan could sense her emotions and would try and help her either way. She sat down at the table, across from Kanan silently. This is really awkward, Sabine thought.
Though she'd been part of the crew for awhile, Kanan was probably the member she was least close with, but for some strange reason, she felt safe with him.
"Wanna talk about it?" He asked. Sabine didn't know what came over her, but she instantly started crying. Kanan was surprised, usually Sabine wasn't one to cry.
Kanan gently got up and sat down next to Sabine, wrapping his arms around her in a hug. She continued to cry.
"I shouldn't have left her, it's my fault she's hurt, it's my fault she's suffering" Sabine wailed.
Kanan was even more shocked by this.
"No no no, Sabine, it's not your fault, there's nothing you could have done to make the outcome any different" Kanan tried to convince her.
Kanan got an idea. Sabine was still hugging him so he started tickling her.
   "Noooo stopppp" she laughed.
"Not until you admit that it was not you fault and that everything is going to be alright" Kanan smirked.
"Fine fine! It wasn't my fault and everything's gonna be alright hahahah" she shouted now crying due to laughter.
Kanan stopped tickling her and she stopped laughing.
"I guess I'm just afraid of losing my new family." She confessed quietly.
"You won't, I promise, we... Well at least I will always be here for you, when you need me." Kanan assured, hugging Sabine again.
Sabine then realized what Kanan was to her. Sabine got up and out of Kanans arms, feeling better now.
"Thanks dad" Sabine whispered quietly, walking back to her room. Kanan smiled, watching her leave.
"Your welcome, daughter."
