"Observant. A village." I said, looking at the village in the distance. "Curious. It might be worth stopping at..." I mumbled.

Informative. I am Brightlance, a traveling glitch who helps others during my travels.

I started to walk towards the village, passing trees and animals on the way. "Amused. Oh my..." I said, as I ended up running into some beasts. They all charged at me. "Pleased. I accept your challenge." I smiled, as I grabbed my grenade launcher from my bag, and shot four fire grenades at each of the four monsters. Each monster was killed with just one blow from each of the grenades I shot, causing them to explode in flames. "Amused. I win." I said, as I continued to walk towards the town. When I arrived, I saw a small weapon shop, so I decided to head inside. "You're tellin' me that y'all don't sell ammo for this gun?! This is crazier than a bull on a rampage!" I saw a Novakid at the counter talking to the shopkeeper. "Oh, welcome!" The shopkeep turned his attention to me. "Tch... Ignorin' me are ya?" The Novakid growled. She was an orange Novakid, wearing a cowboy hat and a bandana. "Friendly. How are you?" I replied, being polite. "Good. Yourself?" He said. "Friendly. I'm just fine." I said, walking towards the grenade launchers he had on display and examining them. "Anyways, I apologize. We'll be getting another shipment of ammo tommorrow, so...--", "I ain't staying in this town longer than a day. An' That day is today." The Novakid interrupted. "Sigh... I s'pose I could hold off on buying extra. Since I already have a decent amount." She sighed, exiting the shop. 'Curious. Just who does she think she is? Barging into a shop like that...' I thought, as I exited the shop as well. 'Curious. Now.. Where did she go...' I said, looking around. "Scanning..." I said, scanning the surrounding area. "Joyous. Aha. Found her." I mumbled, as I headed to where she was. I walked through the streets of this rather large village, getting stares from some people, while others just ignored. 'Amused. Why so many stares?' I thought, looking around at my surroundings. The Novakid had stopped walking all of a sudden. "You following me?" She asked me. "Neutral. Indeed. I am curious as to why you needed ammo when you already had some." I said. "Have ya ever heard of plannin' ahead? I'm hunting some monsters." She said, holding up a piece of paper. "Intrigued. 'Defeat the Fennix.... Reward... 50,000 pixels...' It is indeed an interesting bounty. You're quite foolish if you're thinking that you will be able to get rid of them on your own." I said, as she sighed. "Friendly. May I ask your name?" I asked, hoping for an answer. "Xion. Don't underestimate my skill." She mumbled. "Serious. Whether you have extraordinary skill, or not, it's still dangerous. That being said, you have a low win percentage." I said. "Considering the fact that there are 7 Fennix." I said, crossing my arms. "You're point is...?" She asked. 'Disappointed. I guess Novakid's are pretty dense after all...' I thought. "Considerate. I'd like to a accompany you, that is, if you don't mind." I said. "..." She adjusted her cowboy hat, and then decided to speak up. "Fine." She said, walking away. "That was quite the interestin' way of explainin' that ya wanted to tag along." She said. "Neutral. I suppose." I said. "Whatever... Let's get rollin'." Xion said, as we saw the Fennix atop a hill. "Let's do this." She grinned, taking her pistol out of its holster. "Focused. Scanning threat level..." I said, grenade launcher in hand. "Fennix. Fire breathing creature that's capable of causing painful burns. Attack patterns; Fire breathing--", "JUST HELP ME FIGHT!! Xion shouted. "Commanding. Dodge to your left!" I ordered. "Why?--", "Serious. Do it, unless you want to be hurt." I said, shooting a grenade, and killing two of them, as Xion dodged to the left. "Not bad!" Xion said. The battle continued until the enemies were defeated, and we were victorious without so much as a minor scratch. "As predicted." I said, putting away my grenade launcher. "I'm assumin' that I would've sustained injuries if you weren't here?" Xion asked. "Precisely." I said.

Back at the Village...

"Heheh!" Xion laughed, counting our reward money. We had just turned in the quest, and got a very generous reward in return. "And here I was, thinkin' that having someone else fighting with me would get on my nerves." She said. "Informative. The more teammates the better, I assume." I said. "And that's another way of saying that you want to team up?" Xion asked. "Why not?" I smiled.
