The next few days, Jaehyun called for a meeting. It'll be over two weeks before the company's annual party so he needs to make things clear and ready. Although, he still needs to work on the company's records and future plans. He was planning on have a community service, like in a children's foundation, as a tradition of them every year. Even back in the States, he does special charity work every holidays.

This would be his first charity event in Korea so he'll make sure it'll be as perfect as the upcoming party.

Jaehyun made his way towards the conference room where he expects everyone to be. He was nervous, to say the least, just the thought of seeing Taeyong. He might just lose himself if he ever looked at the boy. He wasn't ready to embarrass himself infront of his subordinates.

He pushed the glass frosted door and was welcomed by the people inside. Jaehyun nodded and smiled briefly at them. He stood infront of the long table, right where he always is. He was given a folder and was immediately given an explanation from one of his board members. He just gave the document little to no attention before he looked up to see the people inside the meeting.

Then he noticed Taeyong didn't attend.

Jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows.

"Excuse me. Where is Mr. Lee?" the man asked, disturbing the board members from talking further.

Someone raised their hand which Jaehyun saw, "Mr. Lee wasn't able to attend work today, Mr. Jung. He excused himself for the day."

Jaehyun hummed, not knowing that the guy was greatly intimidated by him, "And no one told me about this? No one cared to report it to me?"

There was silence. The man looked each person before his eyes landed on his secretary, who was taken aback by his glare.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Jung, but no managers were able to pass the file yet," the secretary said.

Jaehyun took for a while before he nodded, "What's your name?" he asked the guy.

"Kim Jungwoo. I'll be substituting Mr. Lee for today, Mr. Jung," Jungwoo uttered softly.

"Make sure to let him catch up when he comes back, Mr. Kim."

"Will do."

After he heard about Taeyong, Jaehyun could say he was bothered and worried since he doesn't know the reason for the sudden leave. He was almost eager to message or call him, or even go to the boy's apartment, but he didn't want to spoil anything. He must be resting or has other things to do.

What could he be doing?

It's none of his business, honestly. He should stop thinking that he should know everything about Taeyong.

Cutting his attention out, he heard someone knocking on his door. Jaehyun looked up and saw his secretary coming in.

"Uhm, Mr. Jung, your driver's already here," he said.

The man looked at the clock and it was already seven in the evening. He still has a dinner with Mark and Donghyuck by eight for some wedding planning. He doesn't know he's involved but he's happy he could do something for his friend. He stood from his chair and grabbed his bag under his desk, as well as his coat.

"You should go home as well. Thank you for your cooperation today."

The secretary bowed before he left the CEO. Jaehyun went out of his office, locking it, and went into the lift while he wore his long coat. He should just wear something normal tonight, and by normal, he meant very casual.

Once he reached the ground floor, he walked towards his car and stepped in. Patiently waiting for him to arrive at his building, he messaged Mark about later. After he did so, he looked up and he was already at his unit's building. But before they could enter the parking lot, Jaehyun saw someone familiar waiting infront of the building.

Taeyong?

Wearing an oversized hoodie and a pair of jeans, he doesn't know why it would be him, or is he just imagining things? But he was so sure that it's the boy. He didn't think twice to ask his driver to stop, which they did, and he immediately stepped out of his car.

Jaehyun ran towards the boy, hesitating if it's really him.

"Taeyong?"

The boy jolted and looked behind him, thankfully, it was really him.

"Oh, h-hey...You're already here?" Taeyong stuttered.

Jaehyun nodded, "Yes? It's already seven. You're also absent today..."

"Sorry about that. I need to clear things in my head."

"And you're here for...?"

The boy hummed, "Well, I came here to...to talk to you."

Jaehyun raised an eyebrow, "Me?"

Taeyong nodded, "Yeah. I know we agreed on being away from each other but I just need a few minutes, I promise."

"It's all good. Let's talk inside, it's cold here."

No one knows how happy the man is just seeing the boy this close again. Jaehyun told his driver to park his car before both of them went in and hopped into the lift. The man pushed the button and stood beside the boy.

"How did you know I was staying here?" Jaehyun asked.

Taeyong cleared his throat, "Uhm, just asked a few."

The boy accidentally stumbled upon Jaehyun's friend, Mark, a while ago at a grocery store. He couldn't let the opportunity pass anyway so he asked him, work as his excuse.

After a few seconds, they arrived at the right floor. Jaehyun escorted Taeyong towards his unit. He unlocked the door and opened it for the boy. Taeyong walked in first, looking around as he was amazed by how clean and neat the place was. It was really modern-looking and simple. He stood by living room and waited for Jaehyun.

He just watched the man removing his coat and hanging it by the rack. Jaehyun noticed him.

"You can seat anywhere you want. What is it you want to talk about, by the way?"

Taeyong looked behind before he sat politely, not wanting to break anything, "About...About us."

The man furrowed his eyebrows, "Us?" he asked as he loosened his tie and cuffs.

"Well...Me and Doyoung broke things off a days ago."

Jaehyun was taken aback, "What?"

"I already told him everything about us," the boy said, "It's just...I just can't keep being with him when you're in my mind. It's still you...It has always been you, Jaehyun, and I don't think there's anyone else that could change my mind. I could be crazy but who knows. You're the one I want, need...Nothing changed. I'm still the person who loved you since we were young. And I'm saying this s-so it could stop bugging me."

Jaehyun didn't know what to say, he felt speechless. He just went to sit down beside the boy and collected his thoughts.

"So, wait. You broke up with him to be with me?" the man asked and the boy nodded, "And you're sure that I want to be with you?"

Taeyong fell anxious, "Y-You don't?"

The man hummed, sitting sideways and sat closer to the boy. His arm on the backrest and obviously attracting the boy with his smirk.

"What do you think?"

The boy felt his face heating by how close Jaehyun is, "I-I don't know...That's why I'm here."

"And if I don't, what would you do?"

"I...I don't want to find out but I think I'll have to accept it."

"I don't know what to say after that, hyung," Jaehyun uttered, playing.

"Hyung?!" the boy exclaimed, surprised that the man called him that.

The man laughed, "You're so cute. Can I kiss you?"

"After you called me hyung?!"

Jaehyun didn't reply, he just stared at Taeyong who was staring back with his big puppy eyes. The man raised an eyebrow at him with a smirk and he doesn't know how much it affects the boy. It suddenly became a staring, admiring, contest but for Taeyong, it felt they were waiting for something to happen.

It took a second for courage to come in before Taeyong just leaned in for the kiss, Jaehyun immediately kissing back. Slowly and intimately.

The man pulled the boy closer by the waist and has a hand over the boy's thighs, caging him in. The boy held onto the man's dress shirt, wrinkling it accidentally. They started kissing passionately, tongue involved and their hands settling somewhere. Both of their hearts were beating against their chests and their heads fuzzy.

Taeyong pulled away and Jaehyun thought they were done so he sat upright but he was surprised when Taeyong has both of his hands on his shoulders, pinning his back against the backrest and straddled his thighs. Jaehyun tensed.

"You said I could sit wherever I want, right?"

Jaehyun chuckled, "Well, yeah. I'm not complaining."

"Great."
