I walk over to the lab, considering that 2 guards are blocking one way and the other was were the River Person was so... threw the lab.

 I walk in and it is very dimly light. The entrance was at the beginning of a hallway and once I was out, the first thing I see is my face on a huge computer monitor. It was kinda freaky. Someone was watching my every move? Was that how Undyne knew were I would be every tome she attacked? Or did she just follow me? I think as I stair at the computer. I shake off the thought and continue walking. There was also a desk, piled high with notes and sheets of paper. Next to the desk ans a fridge and a bag of dog food. Or... something that looked like dog food, it was hard to tell. After staring at the label for a little bit, I hear the sound of a sliding door open and close. I toward the noise and... the lights suddenly turn on. Now that I can see clearly, the person was... a little yellow dinosaur? In a lab coat and glasses. The dino looks towards me and freezes.

"Oh. My god. I didn't expect you to show up so soon!" The dino starts to look around nervously," I'm haven't showered, I'm barley dressed, it's all messy, and..." The dino trails off and stops looking around the room and looks at me," Um... H-h-hiya! I'm Dr. Alphys. I'm ASGORE's royal scientist! B-b-but, ahhhh, I'm not one of the 'bad guys'! Actually, since you stepped out of the RUINS ,I've, um... been 'observing' your journey threw my console. Your fights... Your friendships... Everything! I was originally going to stop you, but... witching someone on a screen really makes you root for them. S-so, uhhh, now I wanna help you! Using my knowledge, I can easily guide you threw Hotland!" 

Man, I like Alphys all ready! It's nice meeting someone for the first time and not having to fight them! So far the only monsters I didn't have to fight were Toriel, Sans, and now Alphys. It's really nice.

"I know a way right to ASGORE's castle no problem! ... Well ,actually, um, there's just a tiny issue." Oh no. Something bad is gonna happen," A long time ago, I made a robot Mettaton. Originally, I built him to be an entertainment robot. Uh, you know, like a robotic TV star or something. Anyway, I decided to make him more useful. You know, just some practical adjustments like... Anti... anti-human combat features? Of c-coarse, once I saw you, I thought... I have to remove those features! Unfortunately, I may have made a teensy mistake while doing so. And um... Now he's an unstoppable killing machine with a thirst for human blood? Eheheheheh...."

I look at Alphys and giggle a little. This whole thing sounds like a movie script or a sett up to a TV show.

"But, umm, hopefully we wont run into him!"

We are totally going to run into him. After I finish that thought, we hear banging on the other side of the wall. It started to get louder.

"Did you hear something?" Alphys asked me.

The banging started to get louder and faster until...

"Oh no" Alpys says

"OHHH YES! WELCOME BEAUTIES..." A drum roll was played and a spot light was turned on," TO TODAY'S QUIZ SHOW!!!"

 A... toaster on a wheel broke threw the wall. It had 2 gloved, robotic hands and one of them was holding a mike. It also had a screen on it that showed a red 'M' on it. Under the screen was a row of little buttons and 4 dials. The lights slowly turn on and rainbow disco-balls came down from the ceiling. I looked around and saw a camera crew behind me, filming everything.

"OH BOY! I CAN REALLY TELL-" I burst out laughing and cut him off mid sentence.

"Ha ha ha! OMG! OMG! OMG! It's just... hang on I'm dying right now!" I say clutching my sides," It's just that. That face! Truly that is the face of a killer robot!" I laugh until I fall down on the floor.

Mettaton waits for me to calm down and continues talking," ANYWAYS, I CAN REALLY TELL IT'S GONNA BE A GREAT SHOW! EVERYONE GIVE A BIG HAND FOR OUT CONTESTANT!" Confetti falls from the ceiling and a studio audience recording is played. The magic of TV," NEVER PLAYED BEFORE, GORGEOUS? NO PROBLEM! IT'S SIMPLE! THERE'S ONLY ONE RULE! ANSWER CORRECTLY....... OR YOU DIE!"

Do you have a high-lighter or something like that?" Alphys looks at me confused and then walks away and comes back with a high-lighter,"Thank you." And with the high-lighter, I write E: No, I'd Ship You And Papyrus and then I push the option I've made. Mettaton looks at me, and then shrugs it off. The quiz show continues.

I nod my head.
