In Bowser's castle, the Koopas were running around trying to prepare for their king's wedding. The venue was being set up, as guests arrived, one by one, pair by pair.

In a tower far from there, Y/N looked out the window sadly. She wasn't expecting this to be one of the things she wanted in life.

She stood still as a seamstress worked on her dress and another worked on her hair. Her dress was a white ball gown with three layers of off-the-shoulder bodice and bell sleeves.

Her hair was braided and decorated with diamonds representing flowers. The veil was attached at the bun's base and flowed past her calf.

Y/N turned her head and looked in the mirror. Her (e/c) eyes stood out due to the light makeup on her and a few stray hair strands that framed her face.

She was adorned with several pieces of amethyst jewelry.

Each one shone as they managed to catch the light.

But what stood out the most was the crown Bowser placed on her head. It felt wrong to wear it, especially after it belonged to Peach.

"Alright, miss. You're all set.", the seamstress said, pulling away to look at her finished work. "Thank you, you're dismissed.", Y/N said in a neutral tone.

The two attendants left, and Y/N let herself breathe out a sigh of relief. She walked off the podium she was on before and sat on the couch in the room.

Leaning against one of the arms, Y/N let herself think about what would happen from then on. Sure, she liked Bowser, but she didn't know if she wanted him as much as he does to her.

A knock on the door abruptly brought her out of her thoughts. "Come in," Y/N said as she sat up.

In came Peach, wearing a simpler pink and white ombré dress than what Y/N was used to seeing, and Toad, walking right beside her. "Wow! You look amazing, Y/N." Toad complemented, causing Y/N to bring a small smile.

"Thanks, Toad.", Y/N said. Peach then smiled at her friend sadly.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N! It should be me in this position, not you. If... If only..." Peach said, only to be caught off guard by Y/N grabbing the blonde's gloved hands. "Hey, you did what you could. And I'm really glad about that. You are the best friend any girl could ask for," Y/N said, making Peach smile and hug the h/ced girl.

Soon, a knock was heard on the door, and Bowser came in. "Y/N, sorry to bother you, but-"he started, dressed in his own white suit.

He stopped mid-thought, though, when he saw his crush in the dress. To him, it was like an Angel had stepped down from heaven.

"Wow!" Bowser said in shock before Peach and Toad placed a dressing screen in front of Y/N. "Hey, you know the rules, no seeing the bride before the wedding. It's bad luck.", Toad scolded.

"Right, right. I forgot...", Bowser said, looking down with a blush on his face. "Can I at least talk to her in private?", Bowser asked.

Peaches and Toad looked at each other before they looked at Y/N, who sighed. "It's alright, let me talk with him.", Y/N said, forcing herself to smile.

Peach and Toad looked at each other before nodding and leaving. "So, how are you feeling?" Bowser asked as he stood next to the screen.

"I'm Nervous because if I don't do what you want, you'll hurt my friends. I'm angry because you killed my brothers and forced me into this position." Y/N said as she sat down, her back against the screen. Bowser chuckled nervously, tugging his collar with his claw.

"O-oh, yeah, sorry.", Bowser said, unintentionally making Y/N snap. "Sorry? Sorry?! You're sorry that you are forcing me into a marriage after you killed my brothers and are threatening to hurt my friends as well as both kingdoms!? You're sorry!?", Y/N all but yelled at the Koopa King through the screen, making him flinch. Even the guards, Peaches, and Toad outside the room flinched at her tone.

"Didn't you want to marry Peach anyway?", Y/N asked, her head buried in her arms. "No, I wanted to marry you.", Bowser said, sincerely.

"I never stopped thinking about you. Even though we haven't seen each other for years, I never forgot you. I can't think of no one better to rule by my side," Bowser finished. Y/n stayed quiet before she saw Bowser's hand holding out for her. "My promise to you, is to love and care for you till the end of my days, my butterfly," Bowser said, not expecting anything from Y/N, only to feel a gentle hand on his claw.

"Thank you, Bowser, it means a lot to me," Y/N said with a small smile as she gently traced his claw. The two just sat there in a gentle silence before the door slammed open, revealing Kamek.

"Sire! It is time," Kamek gleefully cheered, flanked by Peach and Toad. Bowser stood up and fixed his coat and hat.

"Well then, I'll see you soon," Bowser said as he left with Kamek.

Inside the Maw-Ray, Donkey Kong, Lugi, and Mario were sitting inside the creature's belly.

"So this is the end. Being slowly digested by an eel next to an idiot in overalls." DK said grumpily.

"Well, at least your sister isn't gonna die because of you." Mario retarded.

"Or getting married..." Luigi added quietly with horror, recalling their sudden happy reunion.

"At least you're not gonna die with your dad thinking you're a joke." DK said dejectedly.

"Yeah, well, my dad thinks I'm a joke, too." Mario looked down, making Luigi pat his pat with sympathy.

"Yeah, well... Your dad's right!" DK said, making Luigi look at him in disbelief.

"Seriously?!"

"You know what? I feel bad enough. Just-just leave me alone." Mario glared, turning away from him.

"I've never met your dad, but he sounds brilliant." DK said arrogantly.

"Just go in a corner and SMASH some stuff, SMASH MONKEY!" Mario said.

Hearing that made Donkey Kong punch the ground loudly and angrily while throwing some stuff away.

"I...AM...MORE...THAN A GUY...WHO SMASHES THINGS!!!!!"

He goes up to Mario's face who glares back while Luigi watches with horror. Suddenly, the Maw-Ray burps. The force of the Maw-Ray's burp knocks Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong into Donkey Kong's kart which still has its second rocket barrel left. Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong smugly grin at each other as they get the idea to use the rocket barrel to escape the Maw-Ray.

"That was amazing!" Mario cheered.

"Now we're even!" DK said, kicking his rocket to make it go faster.

"We're coming for you, Y/N!!" Luigi shouted.

Meanwhile, Y/N is getting ready for a wedding as she stares at the door with a sigh. Outside, guests were coming, leaving gifts, and taking their seats. Taking a deep breath, Y/N fixes one of her strands of hair that was loose.

"Hey, Y/N, you okay?" Peach asked, placing a hand on Y/N's shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah its just... when I was a girl, I used to dream of my wedding. Of marrying the man I loved, but it was nothing like this," Y/N admitted as she gave her friend a sad smile. Peach smiled back and hugged the (h/c)-ette.

"For the record, you're my first girl friend ever," Peach admitted, making Y/n smile and chuckle as she returned the hug. "And I'll be with you every step of the way, I promise," Peach finished as she pulled away.

"Thanks Peach, it means a lot," Y/N replied before she faced the door. "By the way, did you like my brother Mario?" Y/N asked, causing Peach to widen her eyes and her mouth agape. Looking at the other woman, Peach tried to make up an excuse, only to be saved by Toad opening the door, in his hand were two bouquets, both made of pink daisies.

"Y/N, Princess, I got them," Toad exclaimed, making Peach let out a sigh of relief.

"Great job," Peach said as she grabbed hers and Y/N's bouquet.

"Couldn't have you going out there without your bouquets," Toad admitted with a smug look.

"It's perfect, thank you Toad," Y/N said as she admired the daisies.

"Y/N, the veil," Peach said as she lifted the veil so it shrouded Y/N, hiding her under sheer white fabric. "Now we're ready," Peach said, just in time too.

As the horns blared and the doors opened, revealing the guests, Kamek, and Bowser. Y/N turned around and hesitated momentarily before walking down the aisle, Peach following right behind her. Looking up, Y/N saw Bowser staring at her with an affectionate gaze. Y/N lets out a small smile, walks up to the alter, and stands next to Bowser. Peach stands on the other side next to Kamek, who's a priest. Y/N looks ahead and gasps along with Peach. They see Cranky Kong and Bowser's other caged prisoners being carried forward by a mechanism above a huge pool of lava below the altar.

"Don't worry about them. I brought them over as guests, and in case you said no, I have them hostage." Bowser explained with a smile, making Y/N gulp.

Kamek clears his throat and starts his speech.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join together this king and this future queen in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men and therefore - is not by any - to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly - but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate, these two persons present now come to be joined. If anyone can show why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

Nobody said anything nor object this marriage. Peach wanted to object but she wanted to find a perfect time. Once hearing no one objecting, Kamek continues his vows as he faces Bowser.

"Do you, King Bowser, take Y/N to be your wife and your own queen? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?"

Bowser gazes at Y/N with a lovestruck smile.

"I do."

Kamek then faces a nervous Y/N.

"Do you Y/N take Bowser to be your husband and your own king? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon him your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him as long as you both shall live?"

Hearing that made look at Bowser, who looks happy and anxious.

"I... I... I d--"

She was cut off by Peach punching Kamek.

"Huh?!" Bowser exclaimed in shock.

"Peach!" Y/N gasped in shock.

"Draaaaamaaaaa..." Dry Bones said, looking at the Koopa, who agreed.

"You really thought she'd marry you?" Peach asked angrily.

Bowser glances at Y/N, who blushes.

"Kinda!"

"I'd never let my friend marry a monster."

Peach takes out an Ice Flower that's hidden in her bouquet and powers up, turning her dress from pink to ice blue.

"Now!" Peach said, gesturing to Y/N's bouquet.

Y/N takes out a Fire Flower from her bouquet and faces Bowser with pity.

"Sorry, Bowser. The marriage is off."

She then powers up, and her wedding dress turns from white to red. Bowser looks hurt as he has puppy eyes for a moment before glaring as his eyes glow red.

"Fine! Have it your way!!"

Bowser tries to shoot his fire breath at Peach, but Peach dodges and freezes Bowser. Bowser's army furiously gangs up on Peach and Y/N as the girls fights back with ice and fire. Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong ride the rocket barrel up to Bowser's Castle.

"They gotta be up there." Mario said.

A Koopa readies a Bill Blaster and aims it at the rocket barrel.

"Fire!" he ordered.

The Koopa fires the Bullet Bill at the rocket barrel, disabling it. Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong are knocked to the ground. They look up to see Bowser's army gathered a bunch of Mystery Blocks. Bowser's army gives Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong worried looks.

"You wanna do this?" Mario asked the two.

"Yes, I'm ready!" Luigi nodded.

"Yes, I do." DK grinned.

Donkey Kong rolls the disabled rocket barrel at the Mystery Block pile. The rocket barrel explodes, knocking out several troops and scattering the Mystery Blocks. Mario, after stomping several Goombas and a Koopa Troopa, punches a Mystery Block bouncing above him and kicks other two Mystery Blocks on the ground. The one he punches gives Donkey Kong a Fire Flower and transforms him into Fire Donkey Kong, while the other Mario kicks gives Luigi a Cat Bell and transforms him into Cat Luigi, and the one Mario kicks gives him a Super Mushroom and transforms him into Super Mario.

"Yes! Fire!" DK cheered.

"Wah-ha!" Mario cheered.

"Yahoo!!" Luigi cheered.

Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong platform and fight their way through Bowser's army.

"Wahoo!" Mario cheered.

"This is fun!" DK said.

"Yeah, it is!" Luigi agreed.

Mario kicks a shell at several of Bowser's troops, but the shell recoils and hits Mario, powering him down.

"Ha! Loser!" DK laughed.

The shell then recoils at Donkey Kong, powering him down too. Luigi jumps over the shell and kicks it away. Mario punches a Mystery Block floating above him, which gives Mario a Super Leaf and transforms him into Tanooki Mario.

"Hey, what does this do? Woah!"

Mario starts flying out of control as a Koopa in a Clown Car fires at Mario.

"Whoa! Yah!"

Mario smacks the Clown Car away with his tail and gets his flight under control.

"Whoa-ah-hahahaha!"

Donkey Kong climbs the spike ball anchor up to Bowser's Castle along with Cat Luigi with Mario flying close by.

"Cool raccoon suit!" DK said.

"Really?" Mario asked.

"Not at all!" DK said.

"You look awesome!" Luigi said.

Peach and Y/N continue to fight off Bowser's army. A Koopa Paratroopa throws a spear at Peach. Peach catches the spear, dips the end in a nearby lava pool, and throws it at King Bob-omb's fuse, causing him to panic.

Y/N notices the mechanism's gear is moving, as someone must have activated it, and looks over at the prisoners, whose cages are being lowered down to the lava. She rushes over to stop it. King Bob-omb tries to put it out but gives up and sighs. King Bob-omb then explodes and powers down Y/N and Peach before Y/N can get to the gear. The mechanism keeps lowering the prisoners.

"Ah!" Cranky Kong yelped in horror.

"Whee!" Lumalee laughed.

Their cages come dangerously close to being burned in the lava as almost the entire cage is submerged into the lava, but the cage suddenly stops. It was Donkey Kong as he turned the mechanism's gears backward, raising the prisoners away from the lava.

"Phew!" Cranky Kong sighed in relief.

"Boo..." Lumalee pouted in disappointment.

Y/N gets up and looks up and sees something unexpected. Tanooki Mario flew down with Cat Luigi holding his hands.

"Sis!!" the brothers called out as they landed.

"Mario?! Luigi?!"

Tearing up, Y/N ran up to them and hugged them tight. Mario and Luigi hugged back tightly, afraid that they'd lose her again.

"You guys are okay!! You're alive!!" she cried out.

"I told ya! See? As long as we're together, everything is gonna be okay!" Mario cried, placing his forehead against hers.

Y/N laughed as tears pour down her cheeks with joy. Luigi then notices her wedding dress and gasps in horror.

"Y/N, why are you wearing a wedding dress?! What is this?"

"Wait, what?!" Mario screamed.

Donkey Kong frees Cranky Kong from his cage.

"Ya did good, kid. Make your pecs dance. You deserve it." Cranky Kong smiled at his son.

"No time now! Definitely later!" DK said before running off.

Bowser, still trapped in ice, regains consciousness and sees Mario, Luigi, Y/N, Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong together, which infuriates him as he sees Y/N hugging her brothers again to the point that he breathes fire and sets his head free.

"Launch the Bomber Bill and DESTROY THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM!!" Bowser screamed in anger.

A Bomber Bill explosively shoots out of the volcano-like opening in Bowser's Castle and speeds downward, targeting Peach's Castle.

"No..." Peach gasped in horror.

Tanooki Mario quickly takes flight and speeds beside the Bomber Bill, trying to get its attention.

"Hey, hey... Hey, over here!"

Tanooki Mario tries hitting the Bomber Bill's side repeatedly but to no effect. Mario tries pushing against the Bomber Bill's front, but ends up with his back against its tip. Mario frantically looks around as the Bomber Bill gets closer to Peach's Castle, but gets an idea after looking at its eye.

"You asked for it!"

Tanooki Mario smacks the Bomber Bill's eye with his tail. The Bomber Bill stops dead in its tracks, bending the flagpole on top of Peach's Castle before angrily glaring at Mario.

"Heh. Hello." Mario nervously waved.

The Bomber Bill chases Tanooki Mario through the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario crashes through a large mushroom.

"Ow!"

Tanooki crashes into two more large mushrooms, getting some of the last one in his mouth before spitting it out.

"Really?!"

Tanooki Mario spots the same Warp Pipe that first took him to the Mushroom Kingdom and gets an idea.]

"Follow me!"

Tanooki Mario starts leading the Bomber Bill to the Warp Pipe.

"Come on..."

Tanooki Mario gets the Bomber Bill flying straight into the Warp Pipe's direction and speeds up.

"Little closer..."

Tanooki Mario gets as close as possible to the Warp Pipe without going in it and flies upward at the last second.

"Mamma Mia!" he said in slow motion.

The Bomber Bill is sucked into the Warp Pipe with great force, but it explodes after floating into the Warp Zone, creating a visible disturbance on the outside of the Mushroom Kingdom's Warp Pipe.

"Huh?"

The Warp Pipe creates an explosion that throws Tanooki Mario against the wall of Bowser's Castle and powers him down. Mario falls before grabbing onto a ledge of Bowser's Castle. The Warp Pipe's significantly increased suction range starts sucking everything in the Mushroom Kingdom's vicinity into the Warp Pipe, with Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong grabbing onto objects to try to prevent getting sucked in. Y/N tries to hold on and almost get sucked in if it wasn't for Bowser grabbing a hold of the back of her dress with his teeth, much to her shock. Mario loses his grip on the ledge and gets sucked into the Warp Pipe while screaming in horror.
