Taehyung waited.

He always waited for Yuna. He loved waiting for her, but he loved it more when she was with him.
She was his sun and moon, his rose and clover.

But to say glee and beauty emanated from her was an understatement; she was an angel who would make him forget about his recent imperfect memories.

He cast an eye over his window, but disappointment wasn't able to fully grope him as he had high hopes.
He knew his friend would come soon and ask about his day, and cheerfully talk about hers.

He picked up a pen and grabbed the homework papers that were given earlier that day by his math tutor, knowing he had been given two days to complete them.

He wasn't distressed, though; he didn't spend seven to eight hours of education each day like most students did - although he was close to spending that long - because he didn't go to school.

Even thinking about school made his feet glue onto the ground. He despised going outside.

The chaotic and disordered image of people bumping onto each other in the streets gave him shivers that would run towards the depths of his body, paralysing him to place as he would stay still like a statue, cold sweat trailing the sides of his face.

Agoraphobia wasn't common, and that made him feel like an outsider, someone who's not supposed to belong to the world, someone who's supposed to receive less love.

But little did he know, his anxiety disorder was the reason that attracted Yuna.

A glance at the young boy sitting on the grass in front of his house was enough for her to step closer to the gate and call him out.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

He looked up with a questioning gaze. Why was a stranger there? A guest?

He rose to his feet and hesitantly walked towards the locked gate. "Are you a guest?"

"Um...no. I was just wondering why you were alone. Did you not go to school?"

His eyes landed on her uniform, his stomach churning by vigorous internal movements. "No, I'm scared..."

Her confused expression rushed him to stutter out more. "B-but I take home lessons."

"Oh." She didn't ask anymore. Her eyes wandered on his, watching the hues of fear, pain and embarrassment blend in with his natural eye colour.

And those were the first characteristics of his that made Yuna want to know more about him.

Although the scene occurred when they were about 13, for Taehyung it felt like it had happened a few weeks ago.

Years rolled by swiftly as they were both running the last lap of college.

Yuna's continuous appearances kept his heart running, although it had become harder for her to sneak in.

Yes, sneak in.

Once Taehyung's parents found out about how "a random girl kept invading the area", they strengthened both gates' lock security of the property.

That was why he loathed his family's wealth.

But Yuna's agility was far stronger than the gates' security, so there was technically no point. She was still able to jump over the metal bars, which she had gotten used to since day one, when it was much harder for her to climb.

"Taehyung, she's poor," his mum once told him with soft eyes, as if communicating with certain people would bring disease.

"So what? And how do you know she is?" He would yell with all his might to protect his precious friend.

"That is none of your busi-"

"You sent men for research, didn't you!?"

Ever since then, he started talking less to his parents, who blamed the situation on Yuna.

Why wouldn't they let him have at least one friend?

Why couldn't they praise her for fulfilling his time to make him smile?

Just like when he heard a tap on his window, he dropped his pen on his desk and ran to open it with a big smile decorating his face.

"Yuna!"
