The next few days felt vile and isolated, as if the house itself was secluded.

Taehyung's mum grew perturbed about the unusual tranquility, although the family wasn't known as noisy, she was used to Taehyung's whereabouts.

She hesistated before heading towards his study room, where he would usually stay in - but the closed window and his absent presence told her that he was in his bedroom.

She knocked on his door, the sound bouncing off the decorated walls of the corridor, almost creating a wave of echo.

"Don't come in!" She heard his muffled voice.

But she didn't listen and turned the doorknob, exhaling poignantly at the sight. Taehyung was curled up under the covers on his bed as the curtains were still covering the windows, blocking out the outer brightness of the clear afternoon from entering the unilluminated room.

"Taehyung..." She called him out as she stepped in.

"I told you to not come in," his voice was merely a broken sob.

"Listen. What I've done was best for you-"

"Is making me sad and miserable best for me?!" He yelled as he uncovered himself from the blankets.

His tired face and red, swolled eyes made her feel a tinge of regret. But she didn't desire for him to have friends with poor levels of success in the future.

"I want her back. And I won't be happy nor talk to you until she can be with me," he lied back down, silently wanting for her to leave the room.

Taehyung stirred in his sleep, shivering in cold as he opened his eyes in frustration. Who opened the window?

He turned to glance at the window, gasping at the figure standing near it.

Yuna.

They both stayed as they were, studying each other's eyes for a couple of seconds, until Yuna made a move.

She stepped closer; placing a knee on the soft surface, she pushed herself up on the bed and hovered on top of him, caressing his cheeks with her cool hands.

"I missed you," he whispered as his eyes started to water.

She gazed down at him ever so fondly, her thumbs rubbing the soft skin of his cheeks. "I missed you, too, Taehyung."

She moved forward to rest her forehead against his, and they stayed like that for a while, enjoying the presence of each other.

He studied her delicate features in admiration; the way her eyelashes fluttered every once in while and the sight of her small pout made her face look cuter, almost urging Taehyung to hold her like a teddy bear.

He then closed his eyes at the steady rhythm of Yuna's breathing, as if it could almost lull him to sleep.

"Taehyung..." Yuna whispered, almost dangerously, before leaning forward.

He didn't answer and instinctively opened his eyes at the long pause, silently gasping at the undeniable closure between their lips.

She almost closed the gap until-

He opened his eyes and sat up in stupefaction, his heart drumming against his chest as if it was going to pop out.

Was that just a dream?

His senses were still disoriented, which couldn't make his mind more confused. He tried to breathe in and out, relaxing at the attempted action.

Leaning against the rigid headboard, he grabbed onto the side of his pillow, his knuckles turning white at the force of the hold.

Images from the dream kept flashing in his mind, blinding his already weary-blurred sight.

His cheeks flushed densely as he remembered the imprudent closure between their faces - lips.

Was she trying to kiss me?

He swallowed and blushed further at the thought.

He missed her so much.
