Her eyes rolled down to his hands, "what...what do you plan to do?"

"Warm you up," he replied to her, nonchalantly. His eyes burned fire, deep anger and desire. Desire to hear how she would scream out. Something he had forever wanted to hear. This woman had made him turn into a beast and he was even more than happy that now that he had the power within him, he could do everything he wished. Do every single thing he had planned many centuries ago and remind her of those moments when she had caused him more than a misfortune.

Isadora watched as the firewood that she had not even seen before started burning into ashes with loud, wide, orange fire blazing, giving the dungeon a bright look.

Now that she could see the dungeon well enough, more fears successfully crept into the chamber of her heart. Looking at the dungeon, she could see different types of skeletons hung on each of the arcs and some parts of the walls. She could not tell if they were used as a decoration or if the skeleton had truly bleached its skin in the same place it was hung.

Thinking there might be some skeletons near her she shrieked, her bare skin hitting hard on the wall of the dungeon. She could tell that she had hit the wall with pressure as a result of the fear and she had feared that she would break a rib, especially with the help of the chains around her body but seeing that her back landed on something soft, she could not just want to imagine what it was. She did not want to even imagine as she could feel the texture. It could not be.

Seeing that it couldn't be what she thought it was, she forced her fingernails into the walls of the dungeon, trying to bite in the shame that was possessing her and to understand the meaning of the 'warming up' this man before she was insinuating. As she kept scratching and dipping her hand in the fur that was placed in the two walls of the dungeon she felt a very cold liquid stick itself to her hand. It was slimy. Things like that made her puke.

Well, she was becoming warm. The firewood was doing its best and the man that was before her appeared to be still. She did not want to look at him directly in his eyes, she knew what would happen if she did that, so she focused her attention on the slimy thing that was in her hand.

What was she saying, those things could not be fur. Those things had hair but not any hair like that of furs.

She creased her brows trying to see clearly what was in her fingers.

It looked like a red slimy substance, more like a woman's monthly waste. What the hell did she touch?

When she felt the man's gaze on her, she looked straight, not at his eyes, she somehow felt he wanted to speak. "Should you not be curious about what I am about to do to you instead?"

Yes. She could see a long metal rod that was in his hand. She had thought he wanted to use it on her but since he hesitated, she thought maybe he planned to use it for something else.

Truthfully, she did not know what to think.

Seeing that she was not ready to answer his rhetorical question which did not seem rhetorical to him he explained, "Just yesterday, I had told the servants to wash away the liquid content in the skins, they seemed to do an average job."

"The skins?"

"The dungeon is not an ordinary room. It's a possessed room which feeds on human fleshes before it can follow my commands."

She wondered why she had not fainted hearing that. Her fingers were shaking as she tried to rub off the slimy substances that were on her hand. Now, she did not want to rest on the wall. He could not be teasing her.

When she had rested on the wall, it had not felt like human flesh. It felt like furs. Something smoothening.

"I understand what you are thinking. Of course, you are Delilah, the walls do not feel normal right? For others, it is hard to see the flesh, let alone feel it. It must look like normal walls for them."

What was he saying?

When she had succeeded in rubbing off the slimy substance, she stopped thinking. Though there was still some blood on her palm, it wasn't as irritating as she had felt when she initially saw it. How could it be? The slimy substances were just sticker and colder than normal. She had touched too many bloods for her to be freaked about it. But the thing was, she could not imagine that the wall her back was facing towards and the wall in which the entrance was located could be human flesh.

How?

How many humans did the dungeon require for that?

Were they the witches and wizards they had beheaded?

Wait!

Or...could it be that the little girl she had wanted to save that day be dead now?

Wait! She had told herself that she did not want to think, but saying she did not want to think could not keep her from thinking less until she felt something of a metallic fire burn her skin.
