Chapter 4

It was dark as hell! Huge clouds covering the whole night sky even the big moon turned ant size with the clouds covering it but still, Tyler is on his way to the hospital to return doctor Sanders receipts. The bus is awfully quiet you all you can hear is the engine's noises maybe because only a few passengers were on it. It has been a long day for Tyler so he dozed off a bit while on the bus. While he was resting, the bus suddenly screeched and stopped! The few passengers were shocked! Some of the passenger checked for the driver if he was fine. Tyler stood up and made his way to the front as he was sitting way back.

"What happened?" Tyler asked while he was walking near the driver's seat.

"No biggie, Sorry people! I thought I saw someone run across the highway." The driver announced to passengers. The passengers sigh in relief and the bus engine started again and continued the trip.

Now seated at the back of the driver seat, Tyler has a clear view of the road. Although his all worn out and tired Tyler has loss the mood on sleeping through the ride. Tyler reached the hospital and left the bus immediately, on his way to the nurses lounge he saw the wall clock. It's already 12:34 it was very late so he quickly left the receipts at the nurse's lounge and asked the person in charge to give it to doctor Sanders. Doctor Sanders had been busy all night long with an operation so Tyler left after taking a sit for a minute.

Tyler took another bus this one on his way home. Again, the seats are almost empty. Tyler then begun staring at the street lights now dazing off and running his thoughts through everything that happened in the last few days.

Tyler smirked a bit, as soon he realized that it was a blessing in disguise. He met new people, good people, after what he had been through. Doctor Sanders, the stranger named Prince and now Irene. The bus stopped and off to his little apartment he run off straight. At last at his bed, a tough day. His back is aching after the bumps he took after the match with the Beast.

He searched his bag and looked for the luchador mask.

"The hell, why do I want to believe the shenanigans Irene told me? I'm pretty sure none of those were lies anyway. And why do the burning sensation stop even if I did too much during my fight?" Tyler told himself while he stares at his black luchador mask.

"I guess I need to leave this to a sleep. Maybe tomorrow I can clear my mind. But what the hell is that shadowy thing I'm seeing everywhere. My eye keeps on catching it passing everywhere." In deep thought Tyler asked his self, staring at his ceiling.

"I'll find out about it, that shadowy shit and those who used me as a lab rat. I'm not here for vengeance but for answers. Maybe joining Irene won't be a bad thing after all."

He gently closed his eyes slept all the body pain and all the mental challenge of the day.

Meanwhile at the Fighting Circle Bar.

"Boss! We got a good crowd earlier. Some underdog almost snapped the Beasts shoulder and neck!" a random guy happily told the man approaching the table.

The man gave off these eerie vibe and dark aura! The man was Prince Fallor! The guy Tyler met the other day.

"But could he win against me? Hahaha! Just joking mates." Fallor laughed and sat with the guys left on the bar.

Fallor showed a knife and forcefully stabbed it on a table! The glasses and plates bounced off and shattered upon landing! Broken glass noises echoed in the room. Everyone around couldn't move and was catching their breath with fear. It seems like a single wrong move or word uttered will cost them their lives.

"You see, I've been going back and forth over this part of the city and this is the place I always liked visiting. But you see I only do my job and my job is to get the enough money all the time." Fallor added speaking in prominent Irish accent. He then smirked at everyone on the table.

Fallor then laughed, "Come on guys! I'm not after your heads. I'm here for the pay and you still have time. I guess a sold-out night could pay the rent." Fallor keeping a smiling face despite everyone around being tensed and sweating despite being in a well air-conditioned room.

"So, gentlemen I must go now. It's late. Too late I can already watch the sun rise." Fallor pulled the knife from the table and left, everyone on the table sigh in relief and finally got to breath properly.

On a far corner some crew witnessed everything and left them speechless too. Fallor finally left so they had the chance to move and speak again.

"Who the hell was that?" a naive guy asked.

"I guess your new, that was the "Irish Fiend". A collector, underground businesses can't run without those filthy rich guys above the city sky scrapers. He gets the money for them and leave, that's his job."

An older guy told the new hire.

"So why are we afraid of him anyway?" the new hire added.

"You're already afraid, right? Well to begin with I saw him fight here once. Against 7 guys. Not just ordinary guys, they were the fighters that night. The manager has to pay him so, he gave the talent fees that was supposed to be for the fighters as payment that night. Then all hell was unleashed when the fighters knew about what happened! He completely separated someone's jaw with a super kick! He then proceeded destroying everyone who come near him. Broken bones and faces were all over the place that night." the older guy told the story as if it was just yesterday, even from his stories the man is still afraid of the Irish Fiend.

"Well, he caused this huge scar on my face." The Beast suddenly added.

"But how?" the curious new hire asked.

"Kicked me on the gut, and after I fell on my knees. He then drove his knee to my face, luckily it didn't break any bone on my face but in return he scrapped off a portion of my skin. That was a split-second luck but that strength was hellish. He could beat us using his bare hands, but his knife skills made him famous. Just imagine that. We didn't even have the chance to wipe his smile off." The beast answered.

"What- the... that man is scary!"

"That was just one third of the collectors. Three rich bosses, three deadly collectors. They have their own little armies too. Well Fallor have the shortest list of members, but they're all sick bastards." The old crew followed up.

"Yeah, and if we don't get enough money next time he returns here. We're all dead meat." The beast went on to continue.

The bar owner finally stood up from his chair and started to address every who's still around.

"I know, everyone is afraid that we might close. We the management, the crews and also the fighters. We need money to survive and I know this is our only way of earning money. And if this bar closes we are all doomed. But for now, we still don't have an idea on earning that much money with in two weeks." The owner then looked around and saw everyone is a bit down on what's happening with the bar. But he added,

"Does anyone know how to sell out a night?"

Everyone was so quiet but suddenly,

"Hey sir! How about we bring back that new guy? That star-boy." The new hire suggested.

"His not that popular, a wonder boy with a fluke win won't sell out any place." The owner answered back.

"But how about we let him face the champion? His coming back right? That would be a great draw." The beast then pitched his idea.

"Well. We still got two weeks. We got to experiment this first week. Contact that new guy! We got no choice; the champ will be back here anyway. And his defending his title!" The owner directed the managements.

Everyone left the place except for the crews and management. The Beast chug in his last glass of beer and went his way out. Its already day break. He saw rays of sun shine beaming on the alley his walking at.

"I guess this city is blowing a new breeze of crazy. It's a new day after all." The Beast uttered while he turned his sights on the suns ray blasting through the tall buildings.

And on the end of the alley, a silhouette of a man enters and nears the Beast. The beast walked into the silhouette castes by the bright sun light behind a man.

"Welcome back champ!" the Beast whispered as he passed the man.
