Yep, a bump is showing and currently Akaashi's yelling into a pillow as the other 3 watch with uncertainty. She never really gets angry, only mildly annoyed, so when she's angry it's usually a good choice to not further her anger. "I mean, it's not so bad. It just means the baby's growing healthily."

"Yeah, you try not to rip apart your hair when you're growing to a hot air balloon." She complains and goes back to screaming. Oikawa had already left to get some onigiris while Kenma, keeping arms lengths, consoles Akaashi on her problems. It's been a few days after her family gathering and it only cause the stress in her body to double as she said goodbye to her family, wanting to leave immediately.

Her mother, of course, cried but was comforted by her father as she made her departure along with Kuroo and Iwaizumi as they travel back to their own homes. Once she left, she cried on her bed once again after bundling up all the anxiety at home. It was also made fact by her 'wonderful' memory, that she has no source of income apart from family sending in money every once in a while.

They were basically living off family money and she commit thank them enough for helping but also it was furthering her emotional moods when she left useless and a 'tub of lard'. Oikawa came back and gave her some comfort food, Akaashi devouring it all once she land hands on it. They all hugged her as she cried while eating, feeling the intrusive thoughts plague her mind.

"I'm sorry you guys have to coddle me like child." She apologizes. They all declined, saying it was just natural to take care of her as she couldn't do it  alone. Then, a beep from Sugawara's phone. "Who's it from?" Oikawa asked. Sugawara clicked her tongue and placed her phone on the drawer, it was prevalent that she was annoyed which can only mean 2 things.

More assignments or rent due.

"We have rent to pay." They all groaned. Every 2-3 months, they would have to pay for rent, but the problem would be that their parents' send living expenses to them every 4 months. They created a system of course to make sure they can still stay afloat, but it's getting ridiculous for them at this point. "You know what we need?"

"A job?"

"No, we need a source of income!"

The 3 of them all looked at each other then back at   Oikawa unamused. "A job." She faceplams. "You're not getting it, a job in this economy would only be so much to get us through 1 more year here and then it's to the streets! We need a faster way of money and it's got to be huge." She explains. It seems plausible but how does one find that sort of miracle?

"Maybe, I can ask for a upgrade at my part time job? My manager has a thing for pretty eyes so I'll just plead and vóla, money!" Sugawara suggests. It was a small weekend job but because of her angelic aura, she was able to get pay a bit better than others. Oikawa shakes her head.

"Who knows how much you get paid, we need more!"

Kenma raises her hand. "Maybe I can put my gaming to good use, like live streaming maybe? I can get good revenue for that." She always did have a knack for anything gaming, have a few consoles from home in her room. Oikawa thinks for a while before shrugging. "Maybe it could work so we'll put it off for second best."

"Where are you even going with this?" Akaashi asks. Oikawa smiles at her. "I'm saying, since we're desperate enough, to get ourselves a polysaccharide parent!" She proposes.

"Polysaccharide what?"

"Another word for sugar daddy."

"Another word for what?!" Sugawara screeches.

"Just think about it. With our looks, we can snag one instantly and since they're usually super rich, we can have left over money to buy a whole bunch of things, even move out of her if we wanted to!" Oikawa explains. The rest of them were skeptical of the idea at first glance.

Sugawara is a fan of random stories on the internet and has heard of the dangers of those men, Kenma is super antisocial so she doesn't want to do anything with people she's not familiar with and Akaashi is an overthinker, with that much money can lead to overwhelming thoughts and worries over how to spend wisely and or if she's even worthy it. They grimaced.

"I don't know about that," Sugawara started. "It's some random old guys who's probably into girls twice his junior, totally doesn't sound sketchy at all." Kenma continued. "Besides, what if it starts out nice but then all of a sudden, it's a horrible nightmare that sucks at your very soul." Akaashi worried.

"You guys are such worrywarts."

"We're just saying."

Oikawa sighs. "Fine, we'll have to kiss goodbye this apartment soon and start living off the streets." She dramatically cried. Kenma walked away to her room while Akaashi just ate on the couch. Sugawara finally thought about it and patted Akaashi on the shoulders. "What if we think about this from a financial stand point? We're low on money and college tuitions are already a bitch, so maybe this might be good for us!" She empathizes.

"And in the long run, it'll be able to pay for your birthing and baby necessities! It's a win-win!" She explains. Akaashi, still suspicious about it, thinks about it for a moment. It's true that it would help them greatly for the next few years they continue college and for apartment rent and bills, plus their recent amount of money would have to go to the rent so once the baby is born and it's still the same conditions...She shakes her head.

Let's not think about it.

"Okay, maybe you have a point."

Oikawa smiles. "You see where I'm coming from right? And the best part is, you can always cancel the sugar-ship once not needed! It's like a relationship but without the love." She sat beside the 2 of them and hugged their shoulders. "All we need now is Ken-chan and we can get this party started!"

"Already heard it all." Kenma appeared out of the hallway and crossed her arms. "Maybe, it's not such a bad idea. But, if it goes south, we're going with my idea." She comprises. Sugawara nodded.

"You can even do your own idea, more the merrier, right?"

"Then let's start tomorrow!"

So it's the new year now, love that. But seriously, I'm not so excited as I hoped I would be. Maybe it'll turn out better this year.

Got to drink champagne for the first time and I would have cried if I wanted to. Very tangy and sparkling 5/10
