Chat Noir glared at Shadowmoth.

     "Too bad for you then because I will never run out!  I learned how to power up!"

        Shadowmoth trembled in fear. He cannot believe Chat Noir can avoid an accidental reveal in front of him.

          "You are buffing!"  Alya sneered.

          "I would not count on it if I were you," Ladybug scoffed.

          "Who cares what you think, traitor!" Chat hissed at Alya.

          "I can defeat you both since I am on his side."

           "Ha, you forgot about me already, fox?"

            Alya turned around at the sound of his voice. Her jaw dropped in surprise. He was the last person she expected to see.

           Chat Noir and Ladybug both smiled. It sure was good to see one of their former helpers was still on their side.  

          Shadowmoth and Alya could not believe it. 

   Not only did Chat Noir show up unexpectedly with extra abilities but on top of that Viperion was here too. Great, now they had three heroes to defeat instead of two.  At least that is what they thought anyway.

     Shadowmoth charged at Chat Noir since Ladybug was already tied up.  

      Alya attacked Viperion. She never did like that snake boy.

   A crash noise was heard as the ceiling caved in right in the middle. The surprise visitor dusted himself off. He was all set for the battle. He knew if Chat called him it must be important. 

      Besides, Wayzz brought him the miraculous and told him Ladybug was in trouble before he got the phone call.

      "Pst, did someone call for backup, dude?"

       "Carapace, but you were not supposed to be here!" Alya protested.

         "Oh, shut!  We broke up ages ago! You still cannot give over it!"

          "Ha, this is not about that at all. It is about the cash."

        "You except Shadowmoth to give you a payout. As if," Carparace laughed.

          Viperion noticed Alya was now distracted by the argument with her ex-boyfriend, so he took his chances. He sneaked away and pulled out his knife. He used it to untie Ladybug.  He knew there was no way that Shadowmoth was as smart as everyone expected him to be.

      Seriously, the lair's location was a big giveaway.

       Chat Noir grabbed the peacock Miraculous off of Shadowmoth's chest. He managed to store it inside the left side pocket of his suit.  He was about to give it to Ladybug, but Alya attacked him from behind.

     "No!" Ladybug screamed as Alya turned from the passed-out Chat towards Carapace. She kissed him knowing how vulnerable he was and took the turtle miraculous from him.

      Viperion seized the opportunity.  "Second Chance!"

     On round two after the Second Chance set in, Chat Noir took the peacock Miraculous, but this time after he stored it, Ladybug kicked Alya hard in the shin.

   This kept her from rendering Chat Noir unconscious.  

    Alya attempted to kiss Carapace, but he shoved her away.  "It is over, Alya!" He spoke up as he took the fox Miraculous away from her for good.

       Viperion shielded Carapace from Hawkmoth since he tried to attack him to take back the fox necklace for Alya.  

         Ladybug snatched the moth Miraculous off the villain's chest to reveal the now fed up and angry, Gabriel Agreste.

          Chat Noir was shocked, to say the least. He and Ladybug had done it with help from their friends Viperion, and Carapace, they had defeated Shadowmoth at last.

            The police came and arrested Alya Cesaire and Gabriel Agreste.

             Soon after they left, Carapace removed the turtle Miraculous for the last time and returned it to ladybug.  Viperion did the same with the snake Miraculous.

             As for Ladybug and Chat Noir, well they did one last pound it. Then, Ladybug had Chat Noir remove his ring but with her back turned towards him.   Chat smiled sadly as he handed the jewelry to her.

        "Bugaboo, I mean Marinette, you always did make a splendid Ladybug!"

           Ladybug took the ring, and without looking in his direction placed it back into its rightful place in the box. She turned out and grinned.

            "So, I was wrong all along. You are someone I know after all Chaton. You are my best friend, partner, but also the boy the only one I have ever loved and ever will love for that matter, Adrien Agreste.  Ever since you gave me that umbrella I knew you were the one for me."

               At her confession, Adrien kissed her. He was glad to be able to without forgetting for a change. Then, he watched in amazement as she removed the earrings and put them inside the Miraculous box beside the Chat Noir ring.

          "How do we take it from here, m'lady, Marinette?"

         "I suppose that depends on you, kitty, A-Adrien!" 

       Adrien and Marinette got together that day. Their story was just beginning. Yes, but it was their's and theirs only to enjoy.
