Ladybug swung by Adrien's window on Christmas day. She was not sure how to tell him.  It was worse than she thought it would be on this bright, cheery day.  Why did it happen?  How did it take place?  

      Adrien saw Ladybug and smiled.  Boy, was he ever happy to see her.  She was just the one he longed to see. It had been two days since he last saw her. Somehow, it felt like it was longer. 

      "Ladybug, do come inside!"

     "Oh, I do not think that is such a good idea."

     Adrien saw the sad face she gave him.  Uh, oh, he thought. Would could have taken place to put such a frown across the face of the woman he loved?

     "Why not?  You came to see me, right?"

     "Yes, but I need to speak to you in private."

     "Wow, I will be right there."

      Adrien grabbed his winter coat, a scarf, his Christmas hat Marinette gave him years ago, and his gloves.  He wondered why Ladybug was so adamant that he meets up with her outside. He ran out the door in such a rush he forgot to give Plagg his cheese.

    Ladybug smiled when she saw him approach her. Oh, dear, this was harder than she thought. 

     "Ladybug, what is so urgent you needed to speak to me out here?"

      "Someone is after me, Adrien."

     Adrien did not laugh. He could tell by the seriousness in her voice that she was telling the truth. The one thought on his mind was who could be after his lady?
