Later that evening, Marinette is asleep on the sofa.  Tikki shakes her head as she heads to her room. She thinks my sister wore herself out so early. She shrugs her shoulders as she sits down on her bed.

In all Tikki believes her first day with Marinette was not so bad.

Back to Adrien, Plagg, and Andrea

"So, Adrien who is the lucky girl?" Andrea asks now that she has tucked Plagg in for the night.

"Oh, it is Marinette," Adrien says with a sigh.

"She orders pizza about twice a week," Adrien explains.

"Ah, so she is a customer," Andrea remarks.

Andrea shakes her head at the notion that her brother should have a crush on someone he barely knows. Then, again who is she to judge?  It is not like she has a boyfriend.

"Yes, you could say as much," Adrien replies.  He finishes the dishes, then heads to his room.  He can not wait to relax for a while.

Andrea decides not to bother him since he works so hard. She figures he could use some alone time. She checks on Plagg to see if he is asleep yet.  Sure enough, he is, well good for him she thought.

The next day,  Tikki gets up around 9 am, while Marinette has been up since 6 am.  Marinette smiles when she sees Tikki enter the kitchen.  "Your pancakes are ready," She says.

"Pancakes, okay, sounds good," Tikki says. She thinks I stopped liking pancakes years ago.

Tikki takes a bite of the pancake and is surprised. "Wow, this is surprising, not bad," Tikki remarks.

"Glad you like them, help yourself to more if you want," Marinette says as she grabs her purse.

"Where you headed now?" Tikki asks.

"I need to be somewhere in ten minutes, see you," Marinette says as she heads out the front door and locks it behind her.

Tikki wonders what that was all about anyway. She finishes the food, then puts the leftover pancakes in the refrigerator and pours herself a glass of milk.  She sure hopes whatever it is does not take to long.

Marinette drives to the diner and asks to see the manager.

"Miss, how may I help you?" The manager asks.

"Do you have any part-time job openings?" Marinette asks him.

"Sorry, Miss we do not, but if you ask over there, they might," He remarks.

"Oh, thanks for your time then," Marinette responds as she rushes out the door. She walks across the street.

Marinette takes a look at the sign and her face falls. She sees it is the pizza place.  She enters the place, fills out an application, and hands it into the manager.

"Say, Miss Marinette Dupain-Cheng, come by tomorrow for your interview at 2 pm," The manager tells her.

          "Thanks, "  Marinette answers.

The manager smiles as he waves at her.  Marinette goes back home with the good news. "Tikki I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon at the pizza place," Marinette says.

"Sis, that is swell!  Maybe you can work alongside Adrien," Tikki states.

At the mention of Adrien's name Marinette's face turns pink, "Uh, yes, that is nice."

Time skip to 5 pm, Marinette calls and orders a large pizza with pepperonis and black olives on the whole thing, mushrooms and onions on half, an order of breadsticks, and a 2 Liter Coca-cola.

"Sure, that will be $15.55 Miss Marinette," The person on the phone states.

Marinette hangs up and thinks strange the guy sounded so familiar. She shrugs her shoulders as she sets the table. She hears the doorbell ring twenty minutes later. She answers the door as Tikki answers the phone when it rings.

"Hi, Marinette," Adrien says with a grin.

"Oh, it is you," Marinette says as she rolls her eyes.

"I have your order for a large pepperoni and black olive pizza, with mushrooms and onions on half, a side of breadsticks, and a 2 Liter, Coca-Cola, right here," Adrien states.

"Ah, yes, here is the money," Marinette replies as she hands him a $20.00

"Here is your change," He says as he counts out the amount he owes her.

"Keep it for your tip, pizza boy," Marinette responds with a smile.

"Thanks, bluebell beauty, I mean Marinette," Adrien says with a blush on his face.

"Hi, you must be Adrien, I am Tikki, Marinette's sister," Tikki says. She shakes Adrien's hand and he looks to Marinette.

"Yes, Marinette here said you were coming," Adrien tells her.

"Hmm, funny she did not say a thing about you," Tikki retorts.

Marinette sets the food on the table, then turns back to Adrien, "Say if you are not busy you could join us."  She immediately wonders where on earth it came from anyway. It is not like her to say such a thing.

"I would, but I have to be there for Plagg and Andrea, that is my brother and sister," Adrien explains.

"Perhaps, I could take you up on the offer some other time," Adrien remarks.

"Did she tell you that you might be coworkers soon?"  Tikki asks.

"Wh-what?  Bluebell Beauty is this true?" Adrien asks Marinette.

"Goodness, I have an interview at the pizza restaurant, but that does not mean I will get the job," Marinette blurts out.

"Well, see you around, Bluebell Beauty, I mean, Marinette," Adrien states. He turns around in a hurry so she will not see how bright red his face is right now.

"Yes, see you, pizza delivery boy," Marinette calls out.

Tikki closes the door and locks it. She sits down with a scowl across her face.

Marinette wonders why her sister looks so cross. It is not like anyone said anything horrid to each other.

"Marinette, you invited Adrien over for dinner!" Tikki squeals.

"Your point, he is busy eating with his siblings," Marinette says with a sigh.

             "He did say,.." Tikki begins.

"Yes, I know," Marinette snaps at her.

"Wow, you do not be so grumpy," Tikki says with a laugh.

Tikki says the blessing, then the two girls enjoy the pizza. The whole time Tikki wonders if Marinette notices how much she and Adrien like each other. She smirks as she thinks of one cool way to try to get those two together.

Adrien arrives home a bit later than he thought he might after he finishes his deliveries for today. He hands the box to Andrea with a sigh.

        "Sis, I uh," Adrien begins.

         "You what?" Andera asks.

"Marinette invited me for dinner, but I turned her down.  I told another time, but I feel so dumb about the whole thing. Her sister Tikki, a teenage girl was over there too," Adrien explains.

"Brother, listen I got the solution, I will watch Plagg tomorrow night, and you can see if Tikki wants to come to visit with us. This way you can take your girl out," Andera suggests.

"Andrea that is great, only I still need to ask her out," Adrien tells his sister.

"Ask who out where?" Plagg asks.

"Plagg, that is your business," Andrea remarks.

                 "Oh, sorry," Plagg says.

Andrea sets out the plates, while Adrien says the blessing. Then, as he and Andrea eat a salad and a casserole she made earlier that day, Plagg enjoys a small slice of cheese pizza to go with his salad.

"Plagg, you should try some casserole too," Adrien scolds him.

"No, I want cheese pizza," Plagg whines.

Adrien puts the pizza box into the refrigerator and wraps the cheese slice up separately.  "You may eat the cheese pizza for lunch tomorrow, tonight we are eating the casserole Andrea was kind enough to cook for us," Adrien says.

Plagg sulks, but a few minutes later takes a bite of the casserole with his fork. He smiles when he realizes the casserole has cracker crumbs in it along with cheese.

"Andrea this is good sis, you outdid yourself this time," Adrien says.

                   "You think so?" Andrea asks.

"Yum, crackers, cheese, and peas," Plagg states with a grin.

"See told you, even Plagg approves of it," Adrien remarks.
