**This is kind of like the Moms one that I did, just with Peter and the boys. Picks up kinda after the Moms one, this is Peter getting ready and prepared for his date that Natasha scored him last time. As a side note, I'm currently online shopping and debating getting some new pajamas because I only have one pair and they are a little worn. Is $25 too much for real flannel pajama pants? Anyways, I'm babbling. Enjoy!**

Peter was bouncing excitedly, waiting for Steve and Bucky to be done sparring in the gym. The teen watched through the tiny window in the door, then paced a bit, then hurried back to the window to check if the two were done yet.

Steve landed a particularly hard blow, and Bucky retaliated. They both froze, then metal flashed through the air as Steve tackled Bucky to the ground and they began to tussle and wrestle on the floor. Peter could hear muffled shouts, but the two men were rolling in and out of the window's view. The teen pushed the door open.

"Really? Again?"

"He tried to hit me on purpose!" Bucky yelled.

Steve grabbed his friend's hair. "That's what sparring is!"

"You hit me really hard, though," Bucky said as he tried to untangle his arms enough to hit Steve again. When that didn't work, he craned his neck and tried to bite the super-soldier on the leg.

"Bucky!" Peter shouted, diving into the fight to break them up. "Biting is literally so low, dude!"

Bucky shrugged.

"What'd you need, kid?" Steve asked, standing up and panting. "We were just about to go clean up."

Peter nodded his head. "Good. It's Dads night."

The teen turned on his heel and made his way to the door, but both Steve and Bucky pushed their way past him and raced up the stairs as fast as they could. Dads night was when everyone, Steve, Bucky, Bruce, Tony, Peter, Clint, Sam, and Rhodey got together and played games, watched movies, and talked about Peter's life. It was a tradition started shortly after Pepper let slip that Peter did a similar thing with all the girls on the team.

"See you up there!" Bucky yelled over his shoulder as he raced to the showers.

Peter shook his head good-naturedly and smiled to himself. It was one of his favorite traditions, made better by how much each of the guys loved it and looked forward to it each month.

"Where's Steve and Buck?" Tony asked when he spotted Peter back up in the penthouse. "Were they getting into trouble?"

Peter chuckled. "Steve went for an open shoulder and Buck freaked out saying it was on purpose."

Everyone laughed. It was almost certain that when Steve and Bucky went to spar, they would get into a fight and end up rolling around on the ground like kids.

"I've got the popcorn!" Clint said, coming in from the kitchen with a massive bowl in his arms.

"Didn't Sam tell you? We're not doing a movie tonight, we're going to play poker." Peter furrowed his brow.

"Oh, I know," Clint assured. "Popcorn is a very good poker snack."

Tony set out the cards. "Are we ready to deal?"

Steve popped his head out of the hall, a towel draped around his waist and another towel wrapped around his head. "Just showered, give me 5 to get dressed?"

"How does he do that thing with his hair?" Sam asked, looking around the table where he, Tony, Clint, and Peter were waiting for everyone else.

"Natasha taught him," Bruce said, coming out of the kitchen with an arm full of sodas for everyone. Rhodey was right behind him with chips and a pack of Oreos.

"Of course she did. She never teaches me anything cool," Clint complained.

Peter beamed. "Last week she taught me how to throw a kitchen knife and get it to land right. It's off balance so it was harder to throw."

"She teaches me all sorts of things I didn't even know were possible," Bruce said quietly, a light blush on his cheeks and he set the drinks down and put them around the table for everyone.

"Please. Not in front of Peter." Tony mockingly leaned over and put his hands over Peter's ears while everyone chuckled at Bruce's comment.

"Tony, I'm literally 16. I have a date coming up, too, I can listen to one PG joke about sex!" Peter's face was red, partially because he'd just said 'sex' really loud in the penthouse, partially because he had let slip he had a date.

"Oooohhhh!" Clint taunted. "Peter has a daaaaaate!"

Peter went even redder.

"What's this?" Bucky said, coming around the hall. "Peter has a date? Steve! Hurry up, we're all going to talk about Peter's date!"

"Peter's got a girlfriend?" Steve shouted back.

"Guys," the teen whined. "Stop! She's not my girlfriend, this is just the first date!"

Everyone froze. Tony sat in his chair a little straighter. Bruce looked at Rhodey, who looked at Clint, who glanced at Sam, who shot a look at Bucky, who peeked down the hall to see if Steve was coming out any time soon.

"The first date?" Tony asked.

Peter nodded. "Yeah. Why's everyone being so weird?"

"Peter," Bucky started, walking over seriously and putting his hands on both of Peter's shoulders. "The first date is the most important date. Have you picked out what you are going to wear?"

"Or how you'll pick her up? Your hair? Where you are going to take her? Flowers?" Tony chimed in, counting off things to remember on his fingers. "How about paying? Have you thought about cash versus a card? Or what you'll do if the date goes well and you two want to do something else after coffee, or lunch, or whatever it is you have planned?"

Peter furrowed his brow and stuck out his tongue. "You guys are going way overboard with this. We're going to get coffee, and we've known each other long enough now for her to know I drink children's hot chocolate with extra sprinkles. If we're having a good time, we'll probably go to a bookshop and I'll buy her a new book or something after coffee."

The group exchanged disbelieving glances. "Regardless, we still need to talk about your outfit and hair, okay?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pepper wasn't supposed to be up in the penthouse during the guys' night, but she needed some paperwork and there was nothing to do about it.
"I'm keeping my eyes closed," she called as she stepped out of the elevator. When no one said anything back, or protested that she had broken the rules, she cautiously peeked through her fingers. "Hello?"
The card table in the middle of the room was abandoned, snacks and drinks left behind. "Hello?" Pepper called again, this time a little louder. A muffled sound from down the hall caught the woman's attention. It sounded like a dropped shampoo bottle or case of power foundation. It was definitely coming from Peter' bathroom.
"Hello?" Pepper pushed open the door to reveal a very crowded bathroom. Clint and Sam were both holding piles of clothes, while Tony, Rhodey, and Bucky were crowded around a very meek looking Peter, his hair piled up in gel. The teen was also wearing a mismatched pair of khakis and a button up, over which was a flannel, a sweater, and a sweatshirt. Steve and Bucky were both holding 4 different colognes, which judging by the cloud of heavy scent, had just been sprayed all at once. And Bruce, poor Bruce, was sitting on the counter, refusing to part take in any of the madness.
"What are you boys doing? How is this Dads night?" Pepper asked, her eyes trailing over each of the men as she went from atrocity to atrocity.
"Peter has a date," Tony explained. "We had to make sure he was ready."
Pepper hummed, looking over at Peter. "I see. Well, in that case, I like the sweatshirt option best. It is, after all, just coffee."
"You knew?" Tony gasped, but the door was already shutting, and the billionaire turned on Peter. "You told her before me? You're own father-figure?"
"Sorry, dad, I just thought you might go overboard." Peter shrugged. "It is, after all, just coffee." Peter's voice mimicked Pepper's almost perfectly.
"I bet she taught him that," Bruce chimed, making everyone, even Tony, chuckle.
