**Request for Malaikatsalahcetak where Peter's class gets a big shock. This one was super fun, I'm always a sucker for Iron!Dad and some fun class phone calls (I've done 2 already and there's another one coming, I'm so sorry). Enjoy!**

Peter scribbled notes in his notebook, glancing up at the powerpoint on the board every now and then. His hand shook slightly, the coffee from that morning finally kicking in and pushing Peter into overdrive.

"Psst," Ned whispered, leaning over. "What was on the last slide?"

Peter pushed his notebook over to his friend, who looked it over quickly and scribbled down his own notes. The teen pushed the book back to the brunet, and both of them looked back up at the teacher.

"Okay, class, now that we have our notes done for the morning, I want to get a discussion started on last nights reading in small groups. Chrissy, Sharron, Cindy. Abe, Shawn, Sarah. TJ, Evan, Jake. Will, Tina, Gina. Peter, Ned, Flash..."

Ned and Peter both groaned quietly, but didn't protest too much. Their teacher was pretty strict, and the last thing they wanted was to make her mad. She finished grouping people up and everyone started moving around, so Peter and Ned both gathered their things and headed towards where Flash was, in the back of the room.

"Pft. I don't know why that teacher is pairing me up with losers like you two."

Ned and Peter didn't respond, just put their books down and pull out last night's reading.

"Flash, let's just get this over with, okay?" Peter looked up at the boy across the table from him, who sneered back.

"What are you trying here, Puny? Trying to pretend you're smarter than me?"

"What? That doesn't even make sense, I was just-"

"Shut up," Flash barked, cutting the brunet off. Peter shrunk back into his chair and turned his eyes to his lap. "You're so pathetic, Parker, you lie about your grades, your internship, your stupid-"

Ned had enough and spoke up. "His internship is real, Flash! He's Tony Stark's personal intern!"

Now that was news to Flash. For a moment, the bully blanched, but he quickly recovered. "Yeah, right. The Tony Stark would willing spend time with Parker. Like I'v believe that."

Ned rolled his eyes and went to say more, but Peter put a hand on his shoulder, and Ned let it go.

"We all know he's a liar," Flash continued. "He feels bad about how lame and lonely he is, so he makes up this internship we know has to be a lie. Maybe all your lying is what makes everyone around you leave. Your parents and your uncle, I mean."

Ned's face was flushed with anger at this point, but Peter stayed calm. Well, as calm as he could given the situation. In all reality, his brain was in overdrive trying to keep a panic attack from coming on. The teen's hands were clenched over his knees, nails digging into his palms until they nearly drew blood.

"We should talk about the reading," Peter mumbled quietly.

"Aww, feeling bad about how pathetic you are?" Flash taunted. "I don't know why you keep up this lie."

Ned and Peter just kept their heads down.

Flash scoffed at their lack of response and pulled out his phone. Realizing they weren't going to get anything done, Peter and Ned decided to do their own things, as well. Ned pulled out a book he was reading for lit class and Peter pulled out some math homework.

"Excuse me?"

Peter, Ned, and Flash looked up at their teacher, who was standing above their table.

"You're using discussion time for other class work? Parker, Leeds, this is unacceptable!"

Peter furrowed his brow. "But Ms. Ashton, Flash-"

"Enough, Parker. First you start missing class without notes, then you use my class as a study hall, and now you're going to try and ring Flash into this?"

"I miss classes for my internship, Mr. Stark is very demanding and-"

"Stop lying!" Ms. Ashton's voice reached a peak and Peter shrunk back. "We all know Stark Industries does not hire high school interns. I sympathize with your situation, but lying won't help your case, and all it's done so far is frustrate your teachers and peers."

Peter shrunk back even more. He could feel blood pumping through his ears. It was nearly deafening.

"Hey," Ned whispered once the teacher had walked away. "Are you okay?"

Peter nodded, but Ned knew he wasn't telling the truth. "Dude, can you even hear me?"

Peter grimaced, then shrugged. The sound of blood rushing through his ears was growing worse. Ned knew that enhanced, superhuman, spider senses were terrible, and an oncoming panic attack were probably making it worse.

Ned and Peter went back to their work, but both of them were thinking the same thing.

This school sucks.

Suddenly, Peter's phone rang. The brunet hardly heard it, actually, but to the rest of the class, it was blasting. "Mr. Parker!"

Peter scrambled to turn his phone off, but faltered when he saw that it was Mr. Stark calling.

"Uh, I need-"

The teacher had moved so she was standing over the table again and raised an eyebrow at the teen. "Answer it on speakerphone, Parker. I'm tired of you interrupting my class, so maybe after sharing a personal call with your peers, you'll be a little more mindful of your actions."

Peter accepted the call and put it on speakerphone. "Hi, Mr. Stark, I-"

"Peter, I just got an alert from Karen that your heart rate was elevated and you were showing signs of a panic attack. Where are you?" The whole class was shocked that Tony Stark was actually talking to their dorky classmate. The teacher was pale as a sheet, no doubt realizing she'd just bullied the personal intern to Tony Stark.

"School."

There was silence on the other end of the call, and Peter could practically feel Mr. Stark's confusion.

"School? What at school could be making you so stressed?"

"Nothing."

"Put Ned on," Mr. Stark said exasperatedly. He knew there was no way to get Peter to tell him what was going on, but Ned? Ned would spill the beans.

"Hi, Mr. Stark," Ned said, leaning over the table. "You're on speakerphone in our history class. The teacher's mad because she think's Peter is just skipping school, like, she doesn't believe he has an internship. Oh, and before that, Flash was being a jerk and I think that's what started it."

"Peter? Is that all true?"

"Yes," Peter admitted quietly. "Its not a big deal."

"Yes, it is. You said I'm on speakerphone?"

"Yeah."

"Great. Hey, teach? Peter is my kid. Don't ever doubt him again. More than being my personal intern, developing most of the Avengers' tech himself, and practically running the other intern departments, Peter is set to inherit this whole company one day. And Flash? The only guys I know who bully others, are those compensating for something."

The class was deadly silent, save Ned's stifled giggles. The teacher was staring at Peter in awe, while Flash was bright red and shifting in his chair uncomfortably.

"And Peter?" Mr. Stark asked, causing the teen to look back down at his phone. "I already cleared it with May, you're coming upstate to the compound with me this weekend. We have training with the team."

Peter's face lit up in delight. "Wait, really? Auntie Tasha is coming?"

Mr. Stark hummed in response.

"And Steve is making his famous spaghetti feast? With Bucky's chocolate cake?"

"Yup. We're leaving Friday after school, so be packed and ready to go."

"Got it. Thanks for the call, Mr. Stark, it helped."

"No problem, Underoos. See you tomorrow."

"Bye." Peter clicked off his phone and pocketed it. Looking up, he saw the whole class staring at him and Ned. He glanced over at his friend, who was smiling. He pointed over to the other side of the table, where Flash was pale and wide-eyed, while the teacher had collapsed into a chair and had her head in her hands.

"Oh, uh-"

Ned cut Peter off. "We told you. He knows Tony Stark."
